I haven’t had mine but a few weeks I have some that were made for the older fire sticks and they haven’t gotten sticky or gummy they are today just like they were when I first got them.

It’s blue but neither glow in the dark.

I have never had an issue with any of the covers from this vendor that I have ordered.

We recently got a new puppy that loves to chew on things, including the remote for our Fire Stick 4K. Luckily he didn’t damage any of the buttons, but the plastic on the remote was scratched, dented, and even had small chunks missing.

We just needed one case, but since these came in a dual pack, I figured what could go wrong — very happy that I did. The cases fit very snug against the remote, line up with the buttons perfectly, and since they are bright, we rarely lose the remote now as a bonus.

I haven’t noticed them really ‘glow’, but that doesn’t matter to me so I’m not going to dock any points.

Definitely would purchase these again just due to making the remote easier to see and a little more confrontable to hold on to.

Update March 19, 2022. Added a star to my review. Previously I mentioned preferring an open face cover to this one that forms around the buttons. I switched back to this cover. Its so much easier to recognize where the buttons are in a dimly lit room.
The cover is nicely form fitting. That’s the good news. The bad news is:
1. the buttons on the Amazon Fire remotes do not raise very high. Hence, the buttons are recessed in the cover’s cutouts
2. taking the cover off to change batteries is a slow, tedious process. I ordered a different cover with an open face instead of the cutout holes for the buttons that this cover has. If you don’t mind fiddling with the tight rubber fit putting this cover on-and-off, it’s great.

I dropped or flung my remote off across the room in my blanket all the time hard wood floors eat up remotes ! This is great no more busted remote controls. The glow is not going to glow in the dark unless you have it under a mega bright light 💡 then only for a minute or something. I bought it to protect my remote for fire stick remote. The 2nd one my battery cover was broken I saved having to buy another remote (keeps it in place) I’m very happy

These grips fit great and are designed specifically for this Fire remote. The colors are pleasing and bright, standing out and making it easy to find the lost remote – and it’s always lost, especially with the husband and kids not returning it to the remote control storage box. Since the remote won’t make it back on its own, it’s nice to have a bright color sleeve. Stays on well. Good purchase.

I like these little covers alot. I have vinyl floors in my living room and I would drop my remote often and worried about damaging it. With these covers on it provides decent protection from falls. It also gives a nice grip to the remote and makes it easier to find when it falls in the sofa cushions. Also a bonus if you have two fire sticks in the house as you can easier tell the difference between. The cover fit perfectly.

Great for locating in dark rooms. It does kind of cause restrictions to the buttons because the buttons on Fire Stick are not protruding very much to start with. Actually the buttons are receding the covers after you install these.
But these seem to be great in protecting the device.

The media could not be loaded.  What a MASTERPIECE. It is made for fun, perfection with protection, convenience and money saver. The price is affordable and economical. The elasticity is just right To keep your firestick from breaking and it saves you some MULLAH. And the COLOR looks fun, and it is convenient to make it easy to find as I keep on missing and losing it sometimes. And it glows in the dark. What a Bonus. Whoever created this one Thank you so much from the bottom of my beating ❤️. It is way beyond perfection. 🙌

But the Silicone covers for our Firestick 4K was a little expensive😌…..ooh i have trouble of trying to replace my Firestick4K remote control in order to get the exact remote control because my AUTISTIC son keeps on misplacing the remote control…its hard to find it in our home…and when i try to search for the same model remote control…i can’t find ot ANYWHERE😣😣😣……

BUT…here’s an idea….
Have Amazon create a remote control that you can actually claps YOUR hands to have a sound go off in order to find the missing remote control at a location within your home…in which you press a button on your phone to locate it…that’ll be a great idea🤷

This set was cheaper than buying just one sleeve! I was pleasantly surprised that it came with the attachment strings because it helps us find the remotes better. (We’re always losing these tiny fire stick remotes!) I also love the blue-it pops. And makes it easier asker to find also
