Just to clarify none of the rest of the power strip was being used it was completely empty and the only part that got hot was the USB area.
Green light should be on if the strip has power and the switch is on. Goes off when switch is off.
yes, you can plug both into same wall outlet, it is flat plug power strip
Yes.

The plugs will be angled to the left when plugged into the wall. All of the plugs are clocked the same.
3/4 of an inch from the faceplate on the wall. I suppose if you had a fancy faceplate the distance from the actual wall could vary.
I dont know. Contact the mftr. They have good customer service.
I have my toaster oven air fryer and ice machine all plugged into it. Not sure if that’s good or bad. But haven’t had any issues.
Nearly instant. We used it in a RV and it would trip before the breaker did even if just by milliseconds you could audibly hear the power strip trip before the breaker did….

There are certainly less expensive surge suppressors out there, but these are very well made and well worth the price. I always prefer the angled plug and recommend them over the standard outlet to ensure you get and maintain a solid connection – anything less can defeat the purpose of using one IMO. The braided cord is a nice feature and a lot more flexible than the standard cord normally used. It makes it much easier to bundle up and wire tie any excess when mounting them under a desk like in my application.
Some of the nicest surge suppressors I have ever purchased. I can give these my highest recommendation without hesitation. If and when I need more, I will be buying these again.
This set of power strips is well made and great value for the price. It has a long cord and its braided design seems to be more durable than the conventional plastic ones. I am currently using one in my living room with 1 more to spare. has been using it for almost a month now, so far no issues..happy with the purchase…
I really needed a new power/surge bar but the ones I wanted were way to expensive and I have been weary of trying unknown brands. But it was Prime day and I really needed the bar, so I went with these two. And I am glad I did. The arrived the next day (two days early then expected). I have had no issues using them with my devices. I mainly have my laptop, cell phone charger, tablet charger and Xbox controller dock set up to one and on the other one I have a lamp, some fairy lights and a wax tart melter thing plugged in. I have no issue with the bars since I started using them. The flat plugs are also great. It makes it easier for them to be plugged in behind my bed. Overall, great power bars for a great price.
It has six outlets that are in my preferred orientation. There are two usb ports. The wall plug doesn’t block the other port in a standard outlet and I like that it is low profile. And, I have absolutely, positively no issues using #8 screws w/ this outlet. You could get away w/ 3/4″ #8 screws, or go for overkill and use 1″ screws. I have purchased at least three times, and I really like the features at the price, especially when it’s on sale (which is fairly often).
Overall I like these. It’s very well priced for a 2-pack, and the flat (and angled) plug is great for outlets sitting behind dressers/beds/other furniture. The sockets on the surge protector are decently tight but not excessively so compared to an APC I bought recently. The fabric (nylon?) sleeving on the cord is a nice touch, although the choice of a grey pattern seems odd vs black, given the black surge protector.
I have only two minor complaints
* The reset/off switch is a little easier to trigger than I would have liked. It’s not to the point where I’m worried about accidentally setting it off, but it does feel lighter than other ones I’ve tried
* The sockets don’t have covers, so it’s easy for dust and other stuff to fall into unused outlets. I knew this when I purchased it
As for actual surge protection, I’m not equipped (or knowledgeable enough) to rate this, but I’m hoping it actually works.
If you’re anything like me, you do your best to put all your backup power strips in one place, so you don’t spend forever and a day search around for them when you need them. That works great until you realize that the ones you aren’t already using suck, because they’re either not working correctly or the cord / number of outlets is too short.
Well, worry no more with these 12-foot bad boys. I had a couple in white and they worked so perfectly that I wanted a couple more. I opted for the dark gray as the color seems to stick out less when you’ve got cords running from one end of the room to another.
So, yeah, I recommend them. I haven’t used the two dark gray ones yet, but safe assumption that there’s no functional difference.
Following are some nice pros:
– plug into the wall is angled so it’ll work better if your outlet is behind furniture (several outlets in my house are
– plug is shaped to fit the wall outlet comfortably. My house has crappy outlets where plugs slip out (especially if they don’t have the third prong for ground)
– Cable length is relatively hard to find at a reasonable price
– cable seems pretty durable so far – mine gets kicked a lot and no issues
– I do wish the outlets on the strip itself were spaced out a little better – I had to sacrifice one or two due to some wider plugs – but no big deal
– Pro tip: I also ordered a 10 pack of [UL Listed] Miady Short Power Extension Cord Outlet Saver, 16AWG/13A, 3 Prong (10 Pack, Black, 8 Inch) on Amazon – this largely mitigates this issue – these things have REALLY come in handy
– USB-A connections are nice, but not sure I’ll use them
Highly recommended – hope that helps!
So I bought these last July. One of them has quit working & I contacted customer support. They immediately refunded half the purchase price. Originally I had thought they were blowing me off (thus my original one star review) but you contact them through Amazon then the response comes via email. Seems odd. Anyway these things work great until they don’t. Honestly I would have rather gotten a replacement since now I will have to buy another one.
I’ve never seen a power strip before with a braided flat cord. A lot of power strip cords are so stiff they never lay flat or stay where you want them. But this one does! Is solid and sturdy. You can buy cheaper power stirps, but if you want quality and dependability, you should not hesitate buying this one. (this is NOT a paid review)
I bought this one, even though it was a little more expensive than some, and I am so happy with it. The cord is wrapped in a thick cording, making it very sturdy and I don’t have to worry about any cracks in the plastic and exposed wires after some wear & tear.
I purchased one set of two, and I am getting ready to buy another couple of sets, so I have one in each room of my house, including my garage. Very handy to have both the USB ports and the regular three prong outlet options, so you are not wasting an outlet on a phone charger.
They look nice and slim, the braided cable is nice and the wires inside are decently thick, so not nearly as much of a fire risk as some other cheaper brands, and they have great mounting compatability!
