I didn’t use, they were dead.

They probably aren’t making contact at the base of the battery. Depending on your phone, Panansonic recommended this battery as a replacement for my phone: Panasonic Genuine HHR-4DPA/4B AAA NiMH Rechargeable Batteries. They worked perfectly. Good luck.

Don’t Know. But did work with my Panasonic Model KX-TGEA20 rechargeable phone. The same batteries that originally came with the rechargeable phone.

When I first put batts in my Panasonic phone it said use rechargeable batteries and they did not work. Important—they started working when I rubbed and rotated batteries while in the phone, probably increased the contact of the batteries. Then you hear a sound and they are starting up and they remembered all the programmed and blocked phone numbers.

The original batteries failed to hold a charge and I replaced them with a set of Panasonic NiMH batteries which sometimes did hold a charge and sometimes did not. My conclusion is that not all NiMH batteries are the same. Thus, it is important to make sure that the replacement batteries have the same model number as the original batteries.

My Panasonic (landline) cordless was dying a slow death and thought new batteries would revive it… These did the job. Very happy!!
