I received a 6-pin/4-connector cord. There are six slots for wires but only the middle four are used. You need to check the jack size you are looking for as this is wider than a 4-pin/4-connector cord and will not fit in the smaller 4/4 female jack.

This is not Cat-5 Ethernet cable. It is plain phone cable (RJ-11) which is normally used for DSL. It should work for you.

Yes it should. This a standard four wire RJ11 phone cable. I have it running from my "telephone" wall jack to my Canon printer/fax. It is plugged into the "line" connector on the printer/fax and then I have a second cable plugged into the "phone" connector on the printer/fax and it runs to my phone.

Mine was just the cord. I’d advise buying some wire staples if you want to attach it to a wall.

I do not uderstand my connection had clips that fit into plate or phone extention iif its the plate itself then you have to see how the original was hooked up and re do it i always before removeing wires print out or draw it on paper and numbers that for everythig wires get really twisted when open

Five stars for being an economical and sufficient product which met expectations based on description and price. This is not the most supreme quality, or heavy-duty gauged durable wire, but very inexpensive, shipped fast and a satisfactory solution as a telephone patch cable. There are definitely higher quality cables with greater wire protection available, but to serve its purpose I was unable to find a better deal. This wire will work perfectly to connect peripherals like a phone, fax, modem or computer to each other or the source (wall) if such a connection is required and the applicable ports are available. It’s likely best to plug this in and leave it in place; it’s outer coating is lightweight and likely not durable enough to be in constant change, use or frequent storage/deployment without suffering debilitating wear.

I wish I could give it no stars. The cord doesn’t work. I have tried 2 other cords and I can receive calls and faxes, but I can’t receive either with this cord. Apparently, they don’t accept returns/exchanges either. Total waste of money – don’t buy it or you will regret it!

UPDATE: THE SELLER AUTOMATICALLY SENT ME A NEW CORD. THEY WERE VERY GRACIOUS ABOUT IT. THE CORD WORKS GREAT FOR PHONE AND FAX. I AM ADDING STARS BECAUSE THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE IT RIGHT.

Very pleased with this product and have now bought a total of two(2). There’s no sound quality loss, is the proper length, and looks great on every phone that I’ve attached them to. No negatives to report.

Very good cord. You could run over this cord with a bulldozer and it would still work wonderfully. (don’t try that, it’s an exaggeration)
I ran over it with the vaccum; accidentally sucked it up and no damage to the cord or sound at all.

Bought this for the EMS station. 25′ really comes in handy with a cord phone board to the standard 6′ jumper the phone supplies you with. It works. If you’re reading this review, I’m so so sorry. It’s a phone cord, people. What more is there to say?

Great quality! Incredible price. Can not be bested anywhere. I use it to internally hook up my fax for secure communications were wifi isn’t acceptable. Well made. You will have this cord until hell freezes over and God goes ice skating.

I recently purchase one of the antique style telephone from Design Toscano. Love the phone, but it came with no cord. The cord arrived before the phone and was exactly what I needed.

kept me connected. i no longer use it…. i decided to let my fax line go and do everything online…. it worked for the time i used it… would recommend anyone that still have a phone line… cut the cord…lol
