Facts About Addtam Surge Protector Power Strip, 12 Outlets with 3 USB Ports, Outlet Extender Strip with 5Ft Extension Cord, Flat Plug, Wall Mount for Dorm Home Office Supplies, ETL Listed
This is not UL certified. There is nothing written on the product or the packaging that says so. My son’s college will not allow it.
yes
Not sure exactly what you are asking. The cord is like a newer extension cord – which it is. Nice and thick.
No. This isn’t a smart strip. It’s a regular power strip that you use. There’s a switch to turn it on and off but it’s not a smart strip.
Yes, this power strip surge protector is 900J

I bought it to use on my Halloween and Christmas villages. It’s big but it’s working for me.
I have small plugs on top wide plugs on the side
I would recommend reading the manual on the air conditioner to check what type of voltage it requires to make sure it can cover it
Dear customer,
The power cord of this 12 outlets power strip is 5 FT.
A label on the back will say. The label on the model Amazon shows you have says it conforms to CSA and UL standards.
Check the wattage drawn by your air conditioner and everything else plugged into your power strip. The strip is rated at 1875 watts maximum.
I’m not sure what this means but it has plugs on all sides and can run either direction.
no
Straight out unless you have a right angle/flush plug

I bought an Ikea Rimforsa kitchen work table, and bought this power strip to mount on the back of it and bring power to it for kitchen appliances, etc. I wanted something:
– with a “flat” wall plug
– a long enough cord to reach the closest outlet
– with a power cord that was not so ugly
– enough plugs and plug options that plugs would not get in each others’ way
This power strip checked all the boxes at a reasonable price.
I hesitated months before buying this because…let’s face it, I’m cheap. But my regular power strip just wasn’t cutting it. Too many big plugs (DVD player, laptop, oil diffuser) ant not enough room for them all. This big boy handles all of those big plugs and has room for more! 12 outlets on 3 sides, 3 USB ports, a nice long 5 foot cord, little notches on the back so you can hang on the wall if you want/need to, what’s not to like? I have had no issues with it at all. (Full disclosure: I have not used the USB ports yet.) The green lights let you know if the switch is on or off at a glance, yet won’t blind you if you’re using it overnight. If I need another power strip, I’m going straight for this one!
When using any type of power supply it always seems one more outlet is needed. This power supply/surge protector makes good use of available space by not only providing outlets on top but on the sides as well. Several phones, tablets and laptops can be charged in the same area rather than in different outlets throughout the home or office.
The media could not be loaded. For what I needed this is ideal. I attached it to the side of my adjustable height desk so I wouldn’t have a surge protector taking up space on the desk or sitting on the floor where cables won’t reach when standing. I doubt it would be a good choice for use on the floor because it has outlets on all sides (which is really great for my use).
12 3-pronged outlets and 3 USB outlets. Cord is strong and thick and overall pretty great. The distance between plugs allows for wide plugs side by side. Longer plugs don’t get in the way on 2 of the sides, but you won’t be able to use them on the third side due to the plug going into the ground or wall. Still that gives 8 that can be used for tall plugs and 12 that can be used with wide plugs. Much better than a standard extension cord where the outlets are so close together that plugging one plug in will block two. And they all contain the 3 prongs so it is usable with 2 and 3 pronged plugs.
I love the flat plug and long, flexible cord. The USB ports are awesome and plugs on multiple sides of the strip is something I’d never thought about, but it’s handy for transformers.
I am using two of these power strips in my office now. They work a lot better at allowing me to plug in a bunch of small power supplies for various devices. The USB charging ports are also quite helpful. I like it well enough I bought one for my brother and helped him clean up his power setup in his office. My only complaint is I wish the cord was longer. I have another spot I’d love to use one of these but I need an 8-foot cord. So I had to use another brand that is inferior in every way but cord length.
I’ve bought several of these and like them a lot! They have a lot of cord space in a small rectangular cube shape, that is easy to tuck away and out of site. The cord is much longer than the average surge protection and the usb is an added bonus. These are much better than my older surge protectors.
I like the fact that this has plugs on multiple sides, I have no issues with it. I mounted to a wall under my desk, so it works great. The cord is somewhat rigid, but not as bad as some I’ve had in the past.
Feels a bit better constructed than others I’ve had.
Have 5 children a wife and a chaotic house! Needless to say we have a lot of devices and gaming systems. We have an older home so not a ton of outlets, bought this and problem solved! Fairly priced and works great much better then others we’ve had in the past!! 10/10 would buy again!!
