Then please check if your phone is connected via a phone switch system, because the phone might not be able to display the callers ID if so. You can try to connect the phone with your phone line jack directly and test if it has the same problem. If it still has no improvement, please contact our customer support. We will try our best to help you figure it out.
I have been using mine for several months with a Magic Jack and it seems to work fine.
Hi customer, thank you for your inquiry. We are sorry to tell you that the item can’t be connected with the USB headset.
I just got this item yesterday and it is not working. Can someone help me? The flash button doesn’t come on. I can’t hear a dial tone.
I used it with Ooma VOIP and I am not sure what your system is, but if it is WOIP it might
I also use this as a regular landline phone, and the sound is great!
Nope all the things you need come with phone..
No it’s not USB compatible
My phone saves the date and time for calls for that day, but not previous days. I am not sure if there is a way to set it to do otherwise. I am sorry that I could not be more helpful.
Your best bet is to contact the manufacturer and ask if that is possible. The only other way I can think of is if you have call forwarding on your landline. If you do, you could forward your calls to the cell phone.
You would need to search Amazon for a wireless version or contact the company. This model is not a wireless phone.
It does have a ringer, and it works like a regular phone.
It may be the service
Hi customer, thank you for your inquiry. Sorry, it can’t work with Magic Jack.
Info About AGPtEK Corded Telephone with Headset & Dialpad for House Call Center Office – Noise Cancellation (Reviews From Amazon)
I received my phone within minutes of me needing it to start my training!! Wonderful service!! The product is amazing, headset is comfortable and the black device with pink buttons is cute and professional looking at the same time. I am starting to work from home as an interpreter and this headset and dial-pad are perfect, I can hear very clear and it doesn’t occupy much space on my desk. I love that it comes with a little hanger on the side to hang the headset from the side of the dial-pad. This brand was recommended from my employer and its a great price. Very satisfied with my purchase, and NO, I did not get reimbursed or get any discount for my review lol.
I wanted to write this review since I was hesitant to buy this set and was not sure of the quality. I do work at home as an interpreter and so I am constantly on the phone and needed something good for a reasonable price. Product came in already ready to go in a small box, the headset and the dialing pad wrapped separately. All I did was connect it just as you would a regular phone. The time/date etc was correct, no adjustment needed. The headset is comfortable, the screen is good and it rings really loud, my home is a pretty decent size and I can hear it anywhere in the house. Below is what I wish it had, but then again if I wanted more I could have gone with a higher priced one, but for the price you can not go wrong. Delivery was same day as I have Amazon Prime and I live in same day delivery area. I am also attaching pictures to help anyone.
Pros/Cons/Wish List
1. It does have a mute button, wish the actual screen said the mute had been enabled just to make sure. In all fairness, the light does change from green to orange and you do hear a click of sort so you know a change has happened, but it still would be better if I could see it, that’s just me though.
2. Wish it had a battery back up just in case. No biggie though.I was aware it did not have one.
3. The numbers on the dial pad do not light up. The screen does though and it helps it a bit if you are using with lights off or a little bit of light. I sometimes work late into the night,so this would be useful/helpful.
4. Only thing that I found odd was that once you spend more than 1 hour on the phone (59 minutes and 59 sec to be exact) the timer on the screen resets itself and starts counting again as if the call just started. This is odd and I don’t know if there is a way to fix this. I will have to see. It is not a big deal, but I would prefer for the timer to keep running especially in my line of work I need to ensure I keep track of my minutes, I do not want to have to sit here and add all the minutes if the call runs for more than one hour.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is really because of the mute situation and the resetting of the time on the screen if you are on the phone for more than 1 hour, I have never seen that on any home or business phone. I will try to see if that can be adjusted/reset, I will update either way.
I like the ability to control the volume AND TO TURN OFF RINGER.
Hands-free talking, which is nice, since I can use both hands on my computer while talking.
Good buy, good features and low price.
No batteries required – works off incoming phone line with RJ15 jack as usual.
Works fine with Internet VOIP and my ISP telephone service provider.
Good clear instructions about how to set up the phone.
You don’t need an expert to do this.
This phone has features that those costing >$100 more don’t have.
I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS PHONE!!!! I am really kicking myself now that it took me so long to purchase it. I kept putting it off and putting it off, researching online the best phones for working at home. Long story short, this IS the best phone. The headset is clear and reversible, you can wear it on either ear. It’s loud I can hear my clients and they can hear me. No more bad connections and people continually saying they can’t hear me or me saying I can’t hear them. I love the compact size, it’s small and it fits right on my desk and doesn’t take up too much space at all. I don’t like the fact that the headset itself doesn’t have a mute but the actually dial pad phone does and it turns the little green light a reddish green color when mute is on. Also the headset is adjustable and it fits really well. I use to have to hold my other headset to my ear especially when I was having issues hearing the person on the other line. Now with this headset I am TOTALLY hands free. I couldn’t be happier and for the price… it really is a great buy!
Overall, it does the job for me and is certainly inexpensive. I keep the earphone volume at maximum and the clarity of the other person’s voice is high, much better than the clarity of cordless handset headsets. That’s the critical factor for me
But, when I tried to use the headset hanger I found the foam pad stuck in the channel so it came off when I removed the headset. My solution is to leave the headset sitting on the desk and ignore the hanger. It’s a cheap headset and not comfortable for continuous use, but the high clarity compensates.
More importantly, for me at least, is the instruction manual. There’s no explanation of what a the codes are: local, p, and IP (I assume the last is for a voip phone). I guessed that the local code is the US area code yet I still have no idea what a ‘pcode’ is; my web searches are futile.
Overall, it’s good enough to be used for my prospecting calls and a fraction of the price of a Plantronics keypad/headset.
Calls are crystal clear and I didn’t spend a $100 so I was a very happy camper. I have been using for over 2 weeks now with no problems at all. A fellow classmate recommended it’s one as with just starting in the virtual call business, we needed something affordable. This suited our needs and exceeded our expectations. I am also able to wear it for comfort needed when my neck is bothering me and my mom and sisters want to talk forever. I am actually considering the purchase of another one for household purposes. This is a great buy.
Disclosure: I purchased this headset phone system with my own money without any pressuresor incentives from the seller or the company.
Noise cancellation? I use this phone at home with no noise in the background. So I can’t say what it would be like in a noisy environment. Volume control? I set it and forget it. No one I talk to has said they can’t hear me – and I hear them just fine. Sound quality? There is no problem with that. When I record myself, no problem. When I talk to others, no problem. This phone works great for me and I would buy it again. The headset is comfortable enough for me – I have no issues with that.
There are so many of these things to choose from. I chose the correct one that works for the online job I have had. Not only that, but it doubles as a regular home phone. Yes, people still use home phones. 🙂
I’m not too sure how well the noise cancelling portion works because I’d try not to take calls when my area has groundsmen tending to the lawn, or if I know it’s ‘rush hour’ and there are people moving about on the road. Personally, I did not want to take the chance of a caller hearing anything in the background, although they probably couldn’t. I was just nervous like that—If I could her it, I always thought the customers could as well. Overall, I’d say this is the right headset to use for at home work: it has mute capabilities, and volume controls.
I worry about the pollution we brought to China when we absolutely knew better given our own laws after horrible damage was discovered in usa environment & we gave cancer to usa workers.. EVER OPEN UP A BATTERY CHARGER? Imagine young ppl hunched over putting that together inhaling those fumes.
But I continue to buy Chinese products. The affordability of Amazon has changed my life. I need this for a minimum wage job with sweet customers that has my hearing, eyesight & recovery from diabetes. This phone system is so comfortable & great to operate & no need for electricity. Really love it.
Perfect little size that does exactly what I expected.
Rings very loudly, Can hear callers clearly, Has a back-lit screen, doesn’t feel cheaply made although it is Made in China!
If your working from home like I am an need a phone for your home office, this is perfect! I have to type while on the phone, so headset is very nice to have. You won’t regret this purchase. Does not require a power cable, only the standard telephone cable. Works with my Grandstream HT-802 right out of the box, no setup required besides to set the time which is really easy with the English instructions.
You won’t find a better phone with a headset! I searched for hours before deciding on this and so happy now!
