Facts About AGPTEK Hands-Free Call Center Noise Cancelling Corded Binaural Headset Headphone with 4-Pin RJ9 Crystal Head and Mic Microphone for Desk Phone – Telephone Counselling Services, Insurance, Hospitals
There isn’t a way to adjust the volume on the headset itself. You could only adjust the volume on your phone base, or if you use your computer to work from and accept calls through a computer system you work with, you may also have a volume control in that system.
If you have the 4 wire modular connection as found on wired phones for the last 30 years it should work. However, if this headset alone does not have the circuitry to hang up, it may be a problem.
Cisco 7945 has a list of headset that are compatible with their phones but as IT professional I found that the plantronics head sets work the best
Need to revise that last answer. This headset does work with the Polycom VVX 310 phone. Just need to plug the line into the jack on the back, and press the "headphone" button on the right.
Yes it comes with the RJ9 connector to plug into desk phone
No idea, but read all the reviews not just the final rating. We had big problem with volume and tinny sound and will not be using this.
Since the headset jack is 4-Pin RJ9, please confirm the phone jack first. If the phone jack is the same as the headset jack, then it may works.
It should.
Sorry I do not know. I continue to research the market
yeah it does, I have the Practica too and it works fine. However i can’t find a way to adjust them like make them fit a larger head lol
This item is garbage, do not order
The 3.5 is for audio only. It will not allow two way communication. It is the "trainers" headset for listening and recording.
I use mine on an Avaya phone model 1416DO2A-003
Yes, you can use it on a landline.
Nope its not going to work with Cisco 7841.I would suggest to go with the one which is compatible with Cisco 7841.

I wanted a good quality headset without the high price. This fit that! The only thing I don’t like is the metal on the top of the head. I felt like if I were it too long it would get uncomfortable. So I made a solution! I used the white foam type piece that comes in the package to protect the headset and i wrapped it slowly around the metal wire. I then taped it in place. Now it is not noticable and more comfortable to wear! the sound quality is very loud and clear! I love that there is 8 Channels to choose for quality. I haven’t been able to fully test noise cancelling ability as of yet, but from my small test it does seem to hold up well. I was very impressed! Definitely a good buy, just add some foam on the metal wire or use the product package foam if you don’t want to spend the extra money!
I looked for a long time before stumbling upon this headset. The other options were either way too expensive or way too cheap. The price point on this is unbelievable for what you get. I paid $15. Great sound quality with an adjustable wheel. The mute option is perfect and works great as a double measure if you accidentally forget to mute yourself during a conference call. The material is very durable. I don’t work in a call center so I can’t speak to long term use but I will say that these are comfortable to wear for long periods. I got them for teleconferences that I frequently have to be on during the week and can’t use speaker phone in my work area. It has saved me from many neck cramps and sweaty hands from having to hold my phone to my ear before. Plus now I can actually type or write while I’m on the call. The only thing that is annoying but easily fixed is that when the cord passes over something like a desk or gets bumped, the sound travels straight to the headset and is amplified. An easy fix is to clip the cord to your shirt or place a small towel or something soft under or around the cord if you do a lot of moving while using this headset. Overall, I highly recommend!!
I’ve only had these for a few days, but so far I love them! I got them because my job provided single ear headsets and I have a litte hearing loss. The sound from the provided ones wasn’t loud enough and at times I was struggling to hear the reps we have to talk to.
The sound on this new headset is much louder than I expected, which is awesome! My office phone wasn’t included on the list of phones the headset is compatible with (which I didn’t realize until I had already purchased it) so I was worried they wouldn’t work. However, they work great and I don’t have to use the adapter either! I do feel like they’re noise canceling, from my experience so far. With time, I’ll be able to see how durable they are. I have high hopes, but even if they break there is a warranty, which is nice. (If they do end up breaking, I’ll update my review.)
I have a ton of hair, so the metal part of the headset doesn’t bother me at all. My only complaint is that the ear cups are a little small, but that’s not a big deal at all to me.
Overall, I think this was a great purchase for the price! I’m glad I found them!
We’ve ordered a lot of these over the past couple of years as we phase out some very expensive wireless headsets that we had purchased previously. Those ended up not lasting nearly as long as they should have considering the price tag. With these though, the price is cost effective and it isn’t a huge deal if it were to stop working in a year or two (which hasn’t happened yet.)
We aren’t a call center, but we do have projects where our team members need to be on the phone for extended periods of time here and there so it’s much easier to multitask, and easier on the neck, if you have a hands free headset. Our phones that we use these with are various brands of SIP phones, and we plug it into the little headset plug on the back or underneath the phone. The unit itself is comfortable, it’s adjustable and the ear pieces are cushion-y. They’re also easy to clean with a sanitizing wipe if we need to re-allocate this piece of equipment.
I haven’t had any complaints of sound quality from my coworkers or from anyone on the other end of the call. Overall, I think this is a solid headset for the price. I expect to get a couple of years of use out of them but like I mentioned, we haven’t had any stop working yet. I would definitely recommend to any workplace or home office that needs a hands free option and doesn’t need the wireless functionality.
Used with Polycom Soundpoint IP450, excellent incoming / outgoing sound. Very pleased (be sure to use the adapter that comes with it).
Simple instructions:
(1) plug in the RJ9 connector from the adapter into the phone receptacle
(2) plug the RJ9 connector from the headset
(3) call someone you know and adjust the adapter switches from 1-8, testing which setting is the clearest on both ends.
Done!
This is a great headset for the price. The audio quality is great and the noise canceling works pretty well. If it’s real loud you can press the headset to your ears and it blocks out basically everything.
I have called my phone to test the headset speaker and the quality is middle of the line, similar to most cell phones. The person on the other line won’t hear your neighbor unless they are literally yelling. The biggest downside to this headset is that the cord gets in the way a little bit but it’s not that bad.
I was the first in my office to try this set because I hate the single ear sets. Now my entire office is ordering them. Overall this is an excellent value and a great headset for the price.
I have tinnitus in one ear and there is a lot of background noise where I work, so I really needed noise canceling headphones that didn’t cost a fortune. These work great! It gives me great clarity and not once had anyone say they could not hear me. The volume adjustment on headphones is very sensitive and I’ve found that using the volume adjustment on the phone itself works better. I would definitely purchase them again.
Purchased for phone conferences at the office. Headsets were unfortunately not provided by employers, but this has worked well as an affordable solution for over a year now. It’s fantastic that these are purchasable here, because the local standard office supply stores (Best Buy, Staples, Walmart) didn’t carry them and the employees didn’t even seem to understand the purpose of a headset that attached to a landline.
This isn’t used for extensive, all-day phone calls (such as in a call center), and the 5-star review is for it being what it is, a cheap and affordable headset to use for a few hours a week to avoid the dreaded shoulder scrunch of holding a phone in place with no hands. Would definitely buy another one if this one were damaged or lost.
It arrived earlier than expected. I had a different kind of headset that was more expensive but I haven’t been able to hear my customers. Almost every call sounded like I was underwater. I used them today and took over a hundred calls and not one call was muffled. If a caller couldn’t hear me I could adjust the mic closer to my mouth without feeling like I was going to eat the mic. The clarity is truly amazing. The price is remarkable for the quality of the product as well. I would not only recommend but if anything happens to mine I will definitely repurchase. Very satisfied!
I have an ancient office phone that cannot accommodate a wireless headset, so I bought this wired one. It works really well. I’ve never had anyone on the other line complain that they can’t hear me. Everyone I talk to sounds crystal clear (better than they sound with the phone’s receiver). The mute button functions flawlessly. The cord could be a little longer, but honestly, it’s not a big enough issue to really complain about. If your office is also stuck in the stone age, this is a very useful device. You’d probably be better off upgrading your phone, but if you’re like me and don’t have that option, you won’t regret this purchase.
