There is no physical difference between a 1.4 and 2.0 HDMI cable, and there are no HDMI version specifications or compliance levels for the cables. So long as the cable is a category 2 (usually listed as "high-speed"), it will be just fine for anything 2.0 requires. Even if it’s a category 1 cable, if it’s short enough it will still work.
The earlier ones may have been around 1/4 – 5/16" but the one I just got is 3/8" plus. It is a thick cable!
Yes! This connection works from your cable box to your HDTV 1080p.
I have a 1050 ti in my current build. But if you want to know if it connects ask yourself 2 things.
1.does what I want to plug it into have an HDMI port? … I have a 1050 ti in my current build. But if you want to know if it connects ask yourself 2 things.
1.does what I want to plug it into have an HDMI port?
2. Does the thing I am connecting it to have an HDMI port?
If yes to both, then yes you can.
In this case your 1050 ti does happen to have an HDMI port. I can’t speak for what you are connecting too (refer to above 2-step program). But yes.
No
Sorry can t help with that
You can select the 1 pack, 2, 3 or 10.
These work great, I would reorder if needed, highly recommend.
Are you serious? You don’t know what an HDMI cable is?? They work great for carrying audio and video on one cable for anything that has an HDMI port. I don’t think you’ll find an HDMI port on your iPhone.
Meets HDMI 2.0 standards, which means it supports 4k, 3D and all of the fun new stuff TVs can do these days.
If you have the adapter it should work. I use both my iphone and iPad with the hdmi adapters and they both have worked fine for watching TV and digital projection. And yes the adapters are expensive and yes you need to have the true Apple product but once you have one you can use it for all hdmi connections.
It should be able to I have a samsung tv and I Apple TV box so it’s connected to both just make sure she shape in the picture is the shape on the sound bar and the Samsung tv
I am sorry but I don’t have the right answer to your questions. I don’t even have a camera. I bought these cables for my tv.
I use mine for Alexa cube and it works great
Info About Amazon Basics High-Speed HDMI Cable (18Gbps, 4K/60Hz) – 3 Feet, Black (Reviews From Amazon)
Folks, it’s an HDMI cable. It sends a digital signal to and from the devices you connect with it. A digital signal is all-or-nothing: it either works as well as it can, or it doesn’t work at all. Do not be fooled by expensive cables which claim to carry a better signal: that’s just what George Carlin described as "Advertising Lullaby." It’s not worth more money from your bank account to pay for benefits that do not exist. This cable really is every bit as good as cables which cost several times more. No, it is. Really.
So buy this, save money, and hook up. You’ll get exactly the same image quality, and will have money left over for snacks. Enjoy!
I purchased this Amazon Basics HDMI cable to take on vacation so we could watch movies on my MacBook Pro mirrored on the family’s television. I used an HDMI splitter I purchased here on Amazon, so I needed a second, shorter HDMI cable. This Amazon Basics cable functioned perfectly as an HDMI cable. It feels durable and thick. The 3′ length was perfect for my needs.
Pro tip: there is no such thing as a 4K HDMI cable. HDMI cables that were manufactured with the first HDMI devices years ago were always capable of through-putting the amount of data that 4K uses. The devices and televisions are now catching up to the speeds that the cables were always able to do. Don’t pay extra for 4K cables or gold-plated cables.
I am happy with my purchase and highly recommend this Amazon Basicsr HDMI cable. 5/5 stars.
We recently bought a whole new TV setup (TV, sound bar, TV mount and sound bar mount) and I wanted white cables to connect everything (so that they’d be somewhat hidden against the white cabinet we were installing everything in). The local store where I’d normally buy an HDMI cable only had 1 white version, it was too short and it was double the price of these Amazon ones.
I’ve only been using them for a few days but so far, zero issues.
Review of High-Speed HDMI Cable, 3 Feet Length. – When I added a new Roku Ultra 4K to our entertainment system I temporarily used my DVD player HDMI cable to test my Roku, I believe it is a 6 foot length. Well, I intermittently ran into a problem you might also encounter with the existing cable that prompted me to purchase the new 3 foot length HDMI. An error message about “HDCP” started appearing when different Roku channels were clicked on. I discovered “HDCP” stands for “High Definition Content Protection”. More than likely this error message was triggered by a loose HDMI connection.
Anyway I only needed a 3 foot length HDMI, so I started looking for one on Amazon and came upon this one with highly rated reviews. We own a Samsung 4K Ultra model tv we use with our Roku, so we wanted a HDMI cable that would work in a demanding setup. After two days of use this 3 foot HDMI cable has performed great for us, no more “HDCP” error messages. And the 4K content looks great from our Roku Ultra though to our Samsung 4K tv.
Recommended for similar applications.
Listen to other people in the reviews. The cords do everything all the high end cords can do at a fraction of the cost. There is no reason to buy the more expensive versions. They are all rated and tested to certain standards that have to be met. The other ones are just fancier or have better name recognition. Will standards change in the future, absolutely. But that means the other big-brand cords will also be affected. Do yourself a favor, these work, and work absolutely fine for what you need them to do at todays standards. Everything seems in order. The only knock on these is that they could have used better material (such as a braided cord to offer better wire protection), but that is all. They transmit picture and sound just fine at a great cost.
I mounted a television to the wall in a small office in my home that I am converting to a room to rest and relax.
I am having power and cable outlets as well as a cable box mounted behind the television. I will use this 3-foot HDMI Cable to connect the television and the cable box.
I have tested the picture quality connecting the cable box to the television and the picture quality is great.
This HDMI cord is the perfect size, color, and quality that I was looking for at a bargain price.
I recommend this product to family, friends, and others looking for a white, 3-foot, quality HDMI cord.
Enjoy!
I needed a simple HDMI cord, and I was playing computer games on my TV with an Xbox controller! I got the long cord because I didn’t want to mess with my work setup, and it was a pretty good decision because I can leave my computer in place when I hook up my TV as a monitor. I suggest this cable if you decide to do what I do, but keep in mind measurements because they can make or break your goal. This cable ultimately was the perfect length for the position between my computer and TV, and it worked like a charm.
IF YOU ARE READING THIS, TRUST ME AND JUST BUY THESE. I ASSURE YOU THEY ARE THE BEST!
High quality product at a fraction of the cost from Best Buy. I have been buying a lot of Amazon Basic equipment and have yet to be disappointed! Now I actually prefer to buy Amazon basic equipment.
I got a new entertainment center so had to get the 10 ft new cables. Wasn’t happy I had to replace my previously purchased Best Buy HDMI about a year ago. After putting the entertainment center up and connecting everything I thought to myself that it did look better but didn’t think anything g of it until my wife, who could care less about picture quality, stated that she thinks the picture looks a lot better than before. I didn’t say anything prior to her so I know they are definitely better cables than you can get at Best Buy. Love them! If you need new HDMIs don’t waste your money elsewhere.
I have a Roku 3 that flickered a lot. A googled solution suggested setting the Roku’s display to 720p, which helped temporarily. For the longest time, I thought the problem was with the Roku. I googled solutions and nothing bothered suggesting something so simple… replacing the HDMI cable. I was tempted to spend a pretty penny on a good HDMI so it works and lasts because every HDMI cable on Amazon has reviews stating that the screen flickered or was black with their new cable – just the problem I’m trying to fix. I’m glad I convinced myself to give this Amazon HDMI cable a try before opting for a pricey HDMI 2.1.
This cable has done away with the flickering and now I can watch my Roku in 1080p again – something I wasn’t able to do as of 2 or so years ago with my previous cable. The picture and audio are great. I’ll be sure to update if this cable starts to fail me.
Once upon a time I fell for the cable hype. I overpaid for MONSTER cable (about 15 years ago) and found that ultimately, you don’t have to spend a fortune to get good quality performance from your cables. Yes, maybe if you’re a serious video-audiophile, you might perceive some fleeting nuance differences… but 95% of us aren’t like that. I use this cable primarily for feeding video from my laptop to my old SONY XBR LCD TV. Picture quality looks pretty much 1080p to my eyes. And the cable is thick where it counts. Cheap HDMI cables will eventually cause wire fraying at the plug joints, forcing you to buy more cables. This cable feels robust enough such that this won’t happen. I’ll report back in a year.
