Amazon Basics High-Speed HDMI Cable Best Review 2022

Product Description
Cables are essential pieces of home technology, and with the laggardly Wi-Fi speeds and choppy streaming that plague many homes, you’re bound to pick up a new cable every couple of months. Which is why the AmazonBasics High-Speed HDMI Cable is the ideal choice, since it’s both affordable and dependable. The cable’s 24AWG (a gauge of wire) conductors offer great bandwidth for 1080p video streaming, and the 56KΩ impedance ensures the video signal isn’t distorted. Low-cost HDMI cables have been around for years, and while they’re perfectly good, they’re also sometimes the victim of some poor design decisions. For example, most HDMI cables require that you disconnect your HDMI cable whenever you turn your device off and reconnect it when you turn it on again. However, as anyone who’s ever struggled to connect their Apple TV to their TV knows, this often doesn’t work out so well.

There is no such thing as an 8k @ 120Hz. Only 8k @ 60Hz. and 4k @120Hz.
These are standard HDMI cables. If your cable box has an HDMI output and your TV has an HDMI input, then the cable should work to connect them. Since it sounds like you already have an HDMI cable between the two but need a longer one, I think it should work if the length is long enough.

I believe it’s a standard CL2 rating, nothing special or heavy duty; just a regular video cable. The cable itself isn’t marked as such and has the regular ends.
Should just fine. As long as both take a standard hdmi cable. I use one for my Dell monitor to my Dell XPS laptop. Works as expected.
Yes. Especially the gray braided cables. Very durable.

To the previous answer, HDCP and HDMI are two completely different acronyms, as of October 2021 there are no HDMI 2.2 cables or displays. HDCP refers to copy protection as opposed to connector type.

Info About Amazon Basics High-Speed HDMI Cable (48Gbps, 8K/60Hz ) – 3 Feet, Black (Reviews From Amazon)
No issue running 4k/120hz with HDR and Gsync. Other cables gave me flickering.
Works as stated.
works very well with 4K OLED tv
This replaced a more expensive Audiquest hdmi cable that for some reason stopped providing the E-arc option from a new
LG C1 Oled tv to a Yamaha rx-1070 surround receiver. Arc worked but this would not support the higher bit rates needed from
The TV to the receiver. Once the Amazon cable was put in the E-arc was restored hence restoring the full atoms amid extended audio
Features the programs would have.
Prior to the new LG Oled all streamers connected to the receiver. The LG supports HDR and more the prior 3 year old Samsung didn’t
To get the full HDR and Dolby Vision the TV supports, the streamers And DVD had to be connected direct to the TV. I had to then rely
On Arc HDMI to get the audio from those devices. E-arc provides the extended audio Arc doesn’t and the LG detects that capability form the receiver it’s connected to which then has to be manually enabled.
I recently got the new Apple TV and wanted to be ready when the option for 120 Hz displays was available. The cable is VERY thick, and somewhat hard to manage, but feels like it is made well enough to last. I’m currently using it on the Apple TV, and it can pass a 4k 60Hz signal without issue. No artifacts, or other quirks yet. Significantly cheaper than other 48Gbps cables, too, which is probably the best part.
HDMI cable works well and is a great price
It works fine.
Good price,.
Purchased HDMI cables from another vendor to use with my Roku Ultra, Samsung Soundbar, and Samsung 4K tv that did not work. So I purchased these Amazon Basics cables for my setup. Now every piece of equipment is operating correctly! Yes, my eArc feature works with these cables!
Recommend these cables for this configuration.
I explicitly wanted a white hdmi to hdmi shorter cable. Got exactly what I wanted.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the High-Speed HDMI Cable offers reliable, reliable connection, fast data transfer, and long durability. It takes just minutes to install the High-Speed HDMI Cable, and it delivers the highest bandwidth and lowest jitter you can possibly get without spending an arm and a leg.
