Facts About Amazon Basics USB 2.0 Printer Cable – A-Male to B-Male Cord – 6 Feet (1.8 Meters), Black
It works with Canon Pixma MG3620 printer.

I inspected the receptacles on the rear of the instrument to determine the type of USB connection required. While I did not get this cable specifically for the Yamaha Tyros 4 (that I also own), I note that it would work to connect that device to a computer. The appropriate receptacle on the back of the Tyros 4 is labeled "to host." There is a second "A" type receptacle next to the "B" type that is labeled "to device" so that it appears that (at least on a Tyros 4) it is possible to daisy chain multiple USB devices. (That doesn’t say if there are drivers available to support any/all such devices.) Since Yamaha is the manufacturer of the PS3, it is likely that it has a similar port arrangement — however, you should inspect the back of your PS3 and see what ports are present, since specific features depend on exact models and date of production. (Specs can change over time.)
As others have noted, this cable is most commonly used to connect to a printer. Most other USB devices use an "A" to "A" cable if needed.
An additional consideration is to always use the shortest possible cable for any application, as signals tend to degrade over distance … this is especially important with daisy-chained devices, since there is a maximum allowed combined cable length (the specification mentions a length that I can’t recall, but in practice the quality of the cables will affect the actual signal strength, allowing longer or shorter cable runs as the case may be.)
Yes. Using it to connect Akai Professional MPK261 to Dell Laptop. Works perfectly.
It should work.
Don’t know. "aruino uno r3"??
if it has a standard printer port. It works for our scanners 1 HP and 1 cannon.
There are micro-b and mini-b for devices such as cameras, headsets, GPS, Kindle, power packs, portable disk drives, etc.
This is a standard-B used for a printer/scanner connection to a laptop computer. It’s larger and almost square.
I am not completely sure. It depends on the type of connections you have on your machine. This cable has 2 differing connectors, a regular USB and a square ended USB. So, if you have those type of connections it will work
Yes, I looked up the Rhapsody 2. Specs state: MIDI connectivity: Over USB
Almost all devices are now made with USB MiDi. A few are built with both USB and 5 Pin connectors to connect to legacy units.
Yes
Probably not, as it is a printer cord not a camera cord. You could check your ports and compare it with the mail and of the cord.
The cable worked on my hp printer. I looked at the back of my printer to see if it had the square connection….
Yes you can, provided that the integrated amp supports USB audio through a USB-B port and that the computer has a USB-A port.
I did not check the packaging and their is no origin marked on cable
1. If your piano has the small rectangular shape , then yes
Info About Amazon Basics USB 2.0 Printer Cable – A-Male to B-Male Cord – 6 Feet (1.8 Meters), Black (Reviews From Amazon)
My wireless HP Photosmart printer decided to give up the “wireless” part of its functionality. It’s still a pretty good printer, but having to move my laptop over to the printer to connect it every single time I wanted to print something was a serious pain. VOILA! Enter low-tech inexpensive solution! 12 feet was a tad too short. 16 feet stretches the distance and allows the cable to lie on the floor in a way that is not a hazard to life and limb. I can now print again while sitting on my bed like God intended. Works perfectly!
I’m so happy!! Thank you, Amazon!!
Having worked in retail at one time, I learned the valuable lesson that when you buy a piece of equipment, the accessories and add-ons that are helpfully displayed in many cases right next to the equipment have a profit margin considerably larger than the equipment itself. So, customers who are very happy that the "helpful" sales person pointed out that they needed an extra cable don’t realize that the sales person just turned a marginal transaction into a profitable one … for the store. And, unless the customer has super high-end equipment or is doing professional level work with the equipment, in most cases, whatever additional performance benefits the sales person is touting in regard to the accessories won’t make a significant difference.
When I replaced my printer recently, I also had to replace the old-style multi-pin cable I had been using to connect it to my computer with a USB A-male to B-male cable. I could have bought one at the retailer in the six-foot length I wanted for $15. Instead, I ordered an AmazonBasics cable for less than one-third that price. For those who might be unaware, AmazonBasics is Amazon’s house generic brand of electronic and computer accessories. I’ve been using this cable for about three months now, and the only place I’ve noticed a difference is in my wallet.
The AmazonBasics printer cable is sold in 6, 10, and 16 foot lengths; I bought the six-foot cable. In all honesty, I hadn’t touched the cable between the time I plugged the printer in and today, when I unplugged it to get a more accurate description for this review. The cable is gold plated on each end (which does give you a better connection). It’s a reasonably thick cable, about 1/8" in diameter. The cable is black, and it’s firmly attached to the plug at both ends. The cable is also reasonably flexible; I could easily bend it to within 0.5” of itself. This means that the Amazon Basics cable is unlikely to get pulled out of the plug, cut, frayed, or broken. In other words, it should be pretty well immune to damage from being yanked out, stepped on, or having some bulky object placed on it.
As far as how well the AmazonBasics cable works, I’ve got no complaints. The printer prints quickly and accurately every time I send it a command to do so. Of course, having only had the cable for a few months, I can’t comment on how long it might last, However, my general experience has been that cables don’t “wear out”; it’s usually some external trauma that puts them out of commission.
The AmazonBasics cable is an inexpensive cable, not a cheap one. It’s solidly constructed and built to last. Although looks can be deceiving, in this case, it has the look and feel of a more expensive cable, and it has worked perfectly for over three months. Basically, the AmazonBasics cable is all you need.
I have a couple USB peripherals — a scanner and label printer — that I wanted to put on a side table several feet from my CPU. I figured I’d buy some long USB cables and give them a shot … several reviewers have had trouble with the longer lengths, but it wasn’t clear to me if that was an issue with cable length or the USB ports (or hub) that they were using. With the 16 foot cables plugged directly into USB 2.0 ports on the back of my CPU — not into a hub — I am having no problems at all. For the money, these cables are good value, as the extra length made it a lot easier to put my little used peripherals off to one side of my desk.
The description and printers for use with the cable is included in the item description. I found it to be accurate. From reading about the cable to ordering and receiving the cable was less than two days. The pricing is very good. There is no installation process required for the cable. I just plugged it in and used it. I recommend this cable to anyone needing one. Just remember not to cheat yourself in length of cable when ordering. It is better to purchase a longer cable than wishing you did. The printer I am using the cable with is a HP Deskjet 3520.
I bought a "wireless" printer senior year for a project and could not get it to connect to my laptop so I basically wasted my money, but being a teenager, I was too lazy to go back to the store and return it and it just ended up sitting on my shelf for about 2 years, fast forward I’m living with my fiancee and need a printer so I’m like "maybe I’ll see if I can make this printer connect now." I couldn’t. So I looked online for solutions and found out that I could also buy a cord and connect it that way and I found this one, it had good reviews so I wasn’t concerned about it not working or anything, I managed to get it for ‘free’ because I had a little bit of a gift card balance left and it came REALLY quick, like the day after I ordered it. It also works great and is the perfect length to hook my printer up to my laptop but still have space to have my laptop on my bed and comfortably move it around with me. If I ever need to replace it, I will definitely purchase from this seller.
When I purchased a new router, my wireless HP Photosmart printer would no longer connect to the network. In order to get it to connect, I had to go through some install steps that required a wired connection. Unfortunately, I lost the original USB cable for this purpose and had to order a new one. This cable fit the bill perfectly. The length (6 feet) is accurate to the description, and the connectors are solid. It worked perfectly for configuring my printer back to being a wireless printer.
This cable just fixed the problem that was driving me nuts! I was having continual problems with my wireless HP printer dropping off line. I got this cable, plugged my printer to my laptop and zapp, my printer works perfectly. I have the HP OfficeJet 4650 printer. I also saved close to $30 by ordering this cable that arrived at my home in two days over going to a brick and mortar store.
Was very happy to find a cable in this length as it was perfect to reach from where I keep my MX922 and the location in which my laptop normally sits. I had a router die on me so I while I do my research I need to be able to still print documents while the wireless network is down. The cable does cross a walkway and is occasionally stepped on (like I said this is temporary) and it is showing no signs of wear. Both ends plug firmly into their respectable ports so no issues with that. The cost of the cable of course being the highlight as this sixteen foot cable at the time of typing this review cost roughly the same as a ten foot cable from other brands. I’m not sure who Amazon sources their cables from but so far I have had great luck with their AmazonBasics line. In the end the cable does what it is suppose to do without issue all while costing less than the competition. Five stars out of five.
This cord works perfectly for my printer. I looked around to buy a new printer cable at my local retailer and they didn’t even carry them. I had to go to an electronics store but they wanted $20 for one. That was just to pricey for me. I came home a little disappointed and went on line to check out Amazon and found these. I took a chance and ordered one. I am so glad that I did. The cost was only 25% of what they wanted and mine got to me in only two days. I should have just went to Amazon to begin with. But my cable is awesome and it feels like a really high quality cable. Way better than the cheap ones I was looking at for $20. My new printer cable is very well made and it works perfectly. I did not have any issues at all connecting my HP printer to my laptop. My old printer cable went off to college with my son. His printer is a WIFI printer but he was not able to get it to work on his dorms WIFI network so he had to use a printer cable. He didn’t have one so I let him take mine which is why I needed a new one. It all worked out great. I got a new printer cable that works perfectly. I am very happy that I bought this one. I hope you found this information useful to you.

I’m on Windows 10 and my wife has Ubuntu but we share a printer… or at least we did. We did so on my old computer with Windows 10 when it had Home Group and all was fine. I then went with Ubuntu and, again, all was fine. I now have a new computer but Microsoft has removed that old Network option and I finally just gave up trying to get her machine to see a printer connected to mine via a USB cable. She doesn’t print often but now she can unplug mine, plugh hers in and all is fine again. I dislike doing it this way but other than loading Ubuntu onto my machine with a dual boot I was totally stymied in getting things to work as they once did even though I have all the sharing settings correct it’s just an exercise in futility. This is a decent cable, came in a nice box and was long enough to reach I could have plugged the printer into the router but that’s right under my wife’s computer so that would mean a permanent cable across the room. For 6-bucks it works fine and I no longer have to read through what seems to be an endless number of instructions on how to connect my two machines when they all say pretty much the same thing and it doesn’t work… so end of sharing a printer rant.
