I do not know the answer to your question. But it works perfectly with my 60 inch Samsung smart TV. I was very pleased with it. the remote control That came with the TV was not very good.

I have a dog who loves to eat remotes…unfortunately it’s a thing in my house.
So far I’ve bought two of these, just pop the batteries into it and go. I’ve tried other remotes, this one is the best.
(I’ve got 2 lg breed puppies, not sure witch one is the remote eater. The TV is just over a year old…this is its 5th remote.)

My Samsung 65″ 2160p Smart 4K UHD TV with HDR came with the worst remote control I’ve ever seen! And as it turns out, I’ve been struggling for nothing — This Universal Remote Control for Samsung Smart TV has been the answer to my prayers! Forgive me if this sounds ignorant, but I was surprised how easy it was to use this remote. Not in regards to the buttons or anything, but the “setup.” I haven’t purchased a universal remote in quite some time, and it’s nice not having to program the remote to correspond to the TV.

The only setup I literally had to do was put in some AAA batteries. That’s it. Turned on the TV and it worked immediately. Thank you Samsung for creating an affordable universal remote! I seriously wish I looked into getting this remote awhile ago, could have had a remote all this time.

I bought this remote because my son makes remotes disappear, hes Houdini…Lol.. it works great identical to the original remote,it just doesnt say Samsung…btw.. I found the original remote on the day the new one was in transit I have 2 now it’s a keeper.

This Remote Works and Looks Exactly Like my Samsung Remote! I wanted a 2nd Remote so my Husbad can have his own on his side of the Bed. The Only Differences I’ve seen is Of Couse My Original says Samsung this one doesnt have a Name on it… the other thing is the Smart Hub Button doesnt have a 🏚 House on it instead it says (Smart Hub). I bought this remote, cause mind you the other one is lost in the house and you know how frustrating is to look everywhere, well I got mad, no more looking. So I ordered this one and it works great and at that price! I couldn’t ask for anything better, so if by chance you loose your remote get this one you won’t regret it.

Using it for 6 months now. I got it to replace my old Samsung remote. Easy to use. Button is very responsive. I like the size, it’s perfect. The grove behind the remote let your index finger rest comfortably while holding the remote. It give the remote a steady hold on your hand while navigating it. After using it, I think the original one is too big and heavy. I replace it in a flash too, don’t remember have to do any annoying setup at all.

Smart TV has fancy (expensive) remote with minimal buttons. Have to navigate onscreen to each number to pick a channel, but with this cheap simple remote I just enter the number and I’m there. Has buttons for all the features and even some the smart TV doesn’t have. Works great on my Samsung smart TV and seems to be made as well as any other device remote. Will have to see how well it lasts, but I am confident at this point that it will. Original has voice command feature, but can’t use it because I won’t give it permission to listen and record everything we say. It probably still does it, but at least I haven’t given it permission. Another plus for this remote…it isn’t recording me.

I almost gave this a very low review, as this did not come with instructions or batteries. The package says to “scan with transparency app”. I don’t have that app and could not find it.

I put in the 2 AA batteries and did not have to program it at all. It works on all the features on the tv and is fantastic.

For $13, this is exactly what I wanted.

I bought this to replace the original control that came with my Samsung TV. The original control has 42 buttons crammed on it and I was never able to find the button I needed. This control is simpler and easier to use.
