Facts About Anker Car Charger, Mini Aluminum Alloy 24W Dual USB Car Charger, PowerDrive 2 Alloy Car Adapter with Blue LED for iPhone12/11/XR/Xs, iPad Pro/Air 2/Mini, Galaxy (Not Compatible with Quick Charge)
Sorry, it will not provide 24W. The output of the single port is 12W 5V/2.4A max.
No, it does not support to fast charge Samsung Phones.
The total output of this charger is 5V/4.8A, two ports share it (2.4A max per port).
It will work, yes.
Sorry, it doesn’t. This charger supports Power IQ, it does not support the Qualcomm Quick Charge. But the Samsung S6 needs Qualcomm Quick Charger for quick charging.
we haven’t tested this charger with 2001 Toyota 4runner so we are unsure if it is compatible or not. Please contact our customer support.
The Output is 2.4 amps per port. If the radio needs 2.4 amps or less, it likely will work. However, there is one exception: This charger will not work in cars from 2008 and older, because it is USB 3. If you have an older car, use a charger that is the older USB 2.
This charger will accept only a standard 1/2" USB fitting. The other end is whatever your phone requires, either an iPhone or Android charging cable.

I am able to charge my ipad and iphone at the same time.. I dont know about a fan. But if your fan works off a USB post. I dont see why this charger wouldn’t do it.. It has enough current from what the spec says
Yes if it’s a USB C charging port laptop, using a USB A to USB C cable.
Yes. It fits any 2 volt cigarette lighter style plug. It works in my 2012 Toyota Tundra
2 standard USB charging port. Should work for any phone. Very small and high quality.
I do not have an Apple device but I don’t see why the charger would affect running an app. If you can run the app while charging with other devices this charger should not be any different.
Please be kindly noted that the output of this car charger is 5V/2.4A per port. Since we don’t know the input requirement of your led map light and haven’t done the test between this car charger and the led map light, we are not sure if it will work for a led map light. I wanted to love this, but it didn’t fit in my car’s socket. I returned it without knowing how it works.
Update*** received an email from Anker. They have great customer service. A new charger (different model) was sent to me and it works great. Not sure why this one didn’t fit in my car’s socket, I always thought that it was a universal size. Nevertheless, problem aside, Anker has fantastic customer service and I will buy from them again.
For some reason my girlfriends phone has a vendetta against ALL of my chargers. Her phone has broken about a half dozen just plugging in once, both inside the house and in my car. I don’t know what it’s problem is or why it likes to distroy my stuff so much? This is the only charger I’ve found that her phone will play nice with. Also working well for mine but my phone’s much more lax about who he’s plugged in to. Qualiy seems really good and it’s very low profile. It’s only been a few weeks but I’ll update if her phone decides to throw a tantrum and distroy my charger. I’m happy with my purchase.
Edit: Anker customer support contacted me and sent a newer model which supports fast charging. Truly awesome product and support. Thank you!
It is not fast charging my iphone 8 with the same Anker powerline 2 cable. I used to own previous model of this Anker charger and I needed another. Amazon page re-directed me to this as a newer model but it is not capable of fast charge. I am using the same phone and the same lightning cable with the previous model and it charges much faster.
Blue led light is also much dimmer than the previous model. May be a bad product? Anyways, either buy the previous model (longer, plastic made) or look for some other brands.
Fits flush in car charging port. I had a different one before that lit up so you could see it. The problem was the brightness of the light on it. At night it was a distraction. This one just has a tiny light to indicate it’s plugged in and ready for use. A great buy! I love how low it sits in the port. Also bought an Anker 1 ft charging cable which works great with the charger.
My husband likes this charger, especially the 2 charging holes.
The dashcam my dad got for our family car only came with a 1 port 1A USB charger which obviously is occupied by the dashcam. With limited cigarette lighter ports in the vehicle, that was a real waste of a socket. With this adapter, our family gets 1 extra USB port which we can use for anything that uses 5v 2.4A (yes, I know it is a bit low powered for the gadgets of today, but it’s better than nothing). This adapter works great and is low profile. It sticks out about 0.5 CM from the cigarette socket which is a bonus as our family won’t have trouble removing it from the cigarette outlet if we need to, but it also doesn’t poke out so much that it takes up too much room. Note that this is NOT a USB-C Power Delivery or a Qualcomm Quick Charge adapter (and neither does Anker claim it is), so it is a bit underpowered for modern smartphones, wireless chargers, and power banks. This will however work great for your dashcams, USB powered FM transmitters, USB powered cassette adapters, USB powered Bluetooth receivers, Bluetooth headphones, old smartphones, old power banks, and other low powered USB electronics. I highly recommend this if you use a dashcam in your vehicle that is powered by USB.
I installed this in the center console of my 2016 Ford Focus, since the car’s integrated USB ports charge really slow. This charges pretty quickly and has 2 USB ports, Anker’s technology, and good build quality. It barely sticks out from the port so it looks nice and clean.
I routed a small USB-C cable through the center console so overall my charging setup is very clean, and I let my phone charge in the cupholder. This is essential because if I ever take a long trip in my car I have charging. I also put a anker battery pack in my center console as a backup incase my car was to lose power. The 2nd USB port is useful for passengers.
Overall I’m very happy for the price, if I ever have issues I’ll update my review, but I never had issues with Anker products.
I am highly reluctant to give reviews on items that I haven’t used at least for 100 true working hours. The Anker Car Charger, Mini Aluminum Alloy 24W Dual USB Car Charger has now passed the 100 hours usage interval. The charger is used to constantly charge an Apple iPhone 13 that is used as the navigation system, besides other functions, in a 2002 Mazda Miata, 6 speed stick shift. So space is at a premium and the system stays on for up to 6 continues hours on longer road trips. A key feature for my selection, besides size, was the minimum heat generation of the charger, and the ability to quickly discharge any potential heat buildup through its metal housing. With a car that old and certain parts hard to come by I was very concerned that the wrong charger would damage the cigarette lighter base that I use as my power source. So far the charger has exceeded all my expectations. The results are such that a number of my fellow Miata club members have selected the same charger for their cellphone/navigation system upgrades. I can’t provide performance information for other applications, but for my specific application the charger is a 100% winner!
Of course I know the rated output gets split in half if you have both ports in use, it is just that a few times it would be nice to have a higher level of power out. But, having said that, this absolutely keeps two devices running and even charging a little on those long trips when you both need to keep the iPhones playing music or audiobooks.
It is solidly built and almost disappears into the 12-vold power port in the cars. It sits almost flush with the outside so there is virtually no way a wayward knee is going to knock it out.
The only trick is that if you have a recessed power port, when it comes time to remove this it can be “tricky” to get your fingers around the low-rpofile top to extract it. Mind you, I did not say “impossible.”
Very good extremely tight fit on my 04 Civic but my 03 Grand Marquis didn’t have this issue. Had to use vice grips to get it out while holding the socket! Good thing it’s made outta metal I guess.
