I recently bought it and was confused as well because the product description here says it can be used overseas with 220 or 240v but then the flayer/manual that came in the box said it support input voltage up to 125v. So I contacted Anker and following is what they said. "Please know the PowerPort Cube can support 100-240V for travel use. But the product itself and the manual only state 125V. This is because of certification.

About the input–125V/10A located on the product and specification, it is the standard design for the US. In addition, according to the new changes in FCC(Federal Communications Commission) certification requirements, we are not allowed to print 100-240V on the product itself. "

The output of the USB ports is 5V-3.6A, three ports share the total output ( 2.4A max per port ).

According to the description: "Superior Safety: Overload protection and a fire-retardant casing ensure complete protection for you and your devices." Since it does not specify surge protection, and since, according to another answer, it will work on 240 VAC, it does not have a surge protector. Sorry, the plug is not flat.

Double-Checked with ANKER/AnkerDirect, my answer on 14th August 2018 stands! ANKER products definitely can take 100 Volts all the way to 240 Volts for SURE with NO Transformer needed. But, the Number"S" of the prongs, the Position"S" of the prongs, the Size"S" & the Shape"S" of the prongs, and the Distance(s) between/a… Double-Checked with ANKER/AnkerDirect, my answer on 14th August 2018 stands! But, the Number"S" of the prongs, the Position"S" of the prongs, the Size"S" & the Shape"S" of the prongs, and the Distance(s) between/among prongs on the plug VARY in various countries Worldwide. Thus, it is Better to get the Universal PLUG Adaptor Set, which can be found at Amazon.com, with you while travelling Outside of the US.

My PowerPort Cube is actually in the Philippines, where standard voltage is 220 Volts, on vacation with a friend of mine already! And I will order another one for Myself for sure!

Yes it is a regular extension cord. It has the benefit of USB plug-ins was well. A great idea that has lots of uses.

Since blue is the closest to white light on the spectrum why dont you just put a white light on it so it will light up the whole room making it very difficult to sleep.

It is a bit heavy for travel but you only require one And cord is long

I don’t think that it adapt to 240 volts. But not sure.
