Info About Anker PowerConf H700 with Charging Stand, Bluetooth Headset with Microphone, Active Noise Cancelling, Audio Recording and Meeting Transcription, AI-Enhanced Calls, Compatible with Conference Platforms (Reviews From Amazon)
I’ve been working from home since the pandemic started and have been using various Bluetooth earbuds and headphones for my conference calls. I’ve had a variety of frustrating issues with sound quality. I was on a call and one of my coworkers sounded excellent, so I asked what headset she was using. She told me the brand and I started considering getting a proper headset with boom mic. Just around that same time, Anker released several new products, including the PowerConf H700. After seeing some extremely positive reviews, I decided to get it a try. I’ve been very impressed and enjoy using it throughout the day. Some of my favorite features over standard earbuds/headphones: the audio quality is great and certainly helped by the boom mic. The charging stand is very convenient. One issue I used to have is that I would turn off my earbuds after a call. If someone called me, I had to quickly turn them on and wait for the connection to establish. This meant I often would miss a call and have to call back. Other times I’d accept the call but there wasn’t a proper connection. With the H700, the connection is immediate. I just lift them off the cradle and begin talking. I also like how easy it is to mute or unmute simply by swiveling the mic up or down. This is easier than using the mouse or keyboard, especially if I walk away from my desk. Speaking of walking away, the distance I can move around is much greater than with my earbuds. Again, this is great when working from home if I’m listening to a call and want to go into the kitchen for some food or drink, for example. The design and quality are very nice. I like the lights that change colors to signify things like charging or on a call. They came in a nice case that neatly holds everything in place. While they are over the ear, I do notice a little bit of pressure on my ears, though other reviewers have said that isn’t an issue for them. I suppose it depends on your head/ears? The noise cancelling seems effective. The volume control knob is a nice touch, though it seems tricky to adjust sometimes (i.e., increases too much or too little). Maybe I need more practice? I trust the Anker brand so am assuming I won’t have any issues. One funny thing: I use a virtual background on my calls, and you can see the actual background in the space between the headband and my bald head. 🙂 I expect this won’t be (as much of) an issue if you have hair, but worth noting just in case. I definitely recommend these for taking your conference calls and video meetings, whether you are working from home or in an actual office.
Stop your search for the perfect pair of conference headphones. Just buy these, they are the one. I have owned and used many different headphones of this type from Jabra/Poly/Bose/Logitech. None of them works as well as this one. I can wear this all day long and feel 0 fatigue. The noise canceling level is about 80-90% of airpods pro in very very loud and noisy environment. While in normal office it works as well as airpods pro in cutting the background noise. The sound is also very good, I use these for music when not in a call.
The Ankerwork H700 Noise/Canceling Headset review Short Answer love it.

Great Sound for Music, cool equalizer for various music types, solid bass for Rock, etc

Everyone remarked in both scenarios phone/conference clear voice and no background noise

Full filtering amazing canceling capabilities. You seriously can use this in crowed space with no
impact on your meeting (Zoom, Team, Webex, etc)
Nice control of features with online APP PC or Iphone
Automatically mutes when remove headphones, unmutes playing wearing
Automatically stops music when remove headphones, continues playing wearing
Voice provides status (Battery, Muting, etc)
Charges quickly as advertised (5 min to get 3 hours, 100 min the claim you get 24 hours)
Mute didn’t control Mute on Teams, not a big issue, but need to know phones are muted when
the teams display show unmute, etc.
Canceling is so good you may not hear someone needing your attention in the same room without reducing the
canceling level or turning off will help.
Have hung accidently when adjusting headset (large control button)
Dispute with other reviews
Some reviews claimed that it was too heavy and would cause fatigue. I found them heavier
than others for sure, but didn’t notice any fatigue until 3-4 hours and it was minor. And they never fell off my head as some claimed, the pressure on the band to my head seemed fine (at least for me)
I work on the phones 8 hours from home and needed a comfortable headset that has active noise cancelling. This headset surpassed my expectations. It is comfortable, even wearing glasses and the three modes of noise cancelling are perfect. When it is quite I can set it to normal but when there is noise in my area I switch to noise cancelling and it blocks out the background noise (blocks out what I hear, the mic is always blocking background noise). The first headset I purchased (Poly – Voyager Focus UC) was more expensive, not as comfortable and didn’t cancel background noise nearly as well. I also like that when I am on a call it turns off the noise cancelling so I can hear myself and talk in a normal voice. This is a great headset. The batter life is amazing as well!
The quality of this headset rivals the much more expensive brands. The active noise cancellation works great. The one awesome feature that I wish every headset had was to mute the microphone when flipped it up, this especially comes in handy when you quick have to run to the bathroom in the middle of a conference call.
I love the different ways you can mute this headset. This makes working from more convenient. They are FAR more comfortable than my JLab go work headset. No ear fatigue after multi hour calls. The stand is high quality and a nice touch.
Sound quality is great. Battery life is good.
The only thing I find annoying is the transparency mode defaults to on at startup. I wish I could default to normal mode.
Other than that this is a great upgrade from my previous headsets. You won’t be disappointed.
I really like these for remote work. Very easy to connect with wireless dongle (included) or via Bluetooth. Great sound, even for listening to music. Has dual pairing so you can connect with 2 devices at once. This model does not have sidetone (to hear yourself when you speak) but you can adjust the noise cancellation to transparent mode. Bonus, it comes with a few hundred free minutes of transcription – which you can access through the Ankerwork app.
It’d be great if they can add protection against acoustic shock.
This is my first ever review, this headset made me want to write a review! I have used multiple headsets and this one by far is the best and its a steal for the price. You can insert the USB on laptop and also add your phone as a connection via Bluetooth. So you can take personal and work calls without worrying about battery. The noise cancelling is amazing and there are different modes where you can set your preferred level. Overall the product has a premium feel and the quality is on par with 300$+ BOSE noise cancelling headphones – I feel the audio mic pick up on this is better. It also comes with a premium cover which you can put the headphones in so that it doesn’t get damaged while you take it to work or put in your backpack.
I love everything about this headset! The best parts though would be
1) how easy it is to connect, to well… anything! (previous wore headset owner)
2) CRISP CLEAR audio. I will do a meeting, jam out to music while working, meeting.
3) Not dealing with wires, delay audio/mic, reconfigure settings for each meeting. This honestly is my favorite, because before I was constantly apologizing for a badly designed headset
TIP: the dongle doesn’t work with Skype, just Zoom.
i’m impressed about the call quality of this headset. i have a lot of calls when WFH. people who had meeting with me said they could hear nothing but my voice. the ANC may not be as good as Bose, but much better than my old Jabra Evolve 75. The headset is comfortable even for a long call.
the sound quality is surprisingly good. the meeting recording is a nice function, especially when i have to switch between different meeting platforms.
