I use this as a body wash/shampoo for my baby. It has the same consistency as other name brand baby shampoos and body washes.

Yes! Started using when we got home from the hospital. Just dont put any lotion on their belly until after the cord falls off and heals. And do a skin test first- make sure they arnt allergic to it or anything -like on their knee. Congrats!

Calming comfort has lavender for the calming effect. The original doesn’t. But I believe they both have the oat extracts

Yes it does, and it smells wonderful! I usually put it in as the water is running, and then I move my hand around in the water, swirling and that creates quite a bit of bubbles. We love it!

While Aveeno products in general work fine for my other kiddos and myself, my one little man has eczema and it induces flare-ups! I figured the “oat” ingredient would be helpful, however, it seems that anything with fragrance will aggravate his poor skin. We’re sticking to Cetaphil everything and cortisone since he’s over a year. Nothing against this brand, I just wanted to offer some helpful advice to moms since eczema seems to be so prevalent nowadays!

I use this on my dogs. It seems to be the only “shampoo” (yeah, I know it’s not shampoo… gimme a break… I’m the exhausted Mom of the Terrible Triplets, who love nothing more than rolling in cow pies… except maybe eating the cow pies… Ewwww) that doesn’t irritate the skin on the Trio of Tyranny.
Bonus: I enjoy deluding myself into believing that the “calming” bit works on the Tiny Terrors.

I wear this baby lotion on my face. It helps moisture my face inexpensively without breaking out my face. I have dry skin and this really works.

We use this lotion every night as part of our son’s night time routine. I don’t know if the smell is relaxing or the massage with the lotion is the trick, but it puts our son to sleep every night! We change his diaper, do a lotion massage, put on PJ’s, read his books and he falls right to sleep. Thank you for a great product we can use every night!

We love Aveeno–but especially the Baby Calming Comfort. Realistically, rubbing your baby down with lotion will comfort and hopefully calm any baby– BUT finding a lotion that is gentle enough for Miss Fussy’s skin, that moisturized it AND strong enough for my dry, raw, elephant-like skin was the miracle. It works for the whole household.

BEST eczema treatment ever! I’ve used prescription steroid ointment and even that doesn’t compare to this moisturizer. I apply it every day after my kids bath and during Wintwr twice a day. My sons skin was beginning to feel like sand paper during the winter after only 2 days his skin was baby soft! It stays on very well!

Okay first I thought I wouldn’t be getting much for my money because Aveeno is expensive but this is a great size bottle with an amazing price… this product smells so freaking amazing, like I had the Johnson bedtime lavender but this lavender-vanilla combo is so soothing. And the lather is AMAZING, I thought I would have to keep pouring but one squirt is enough so I know this will last. I was scared to buy Aveeno because I know they tend to be expensive but this purchase made me so happy. I don’t think my baby has sensitive skin but I’ve switched now from Dove, to Johnson, to now Aveeno and I know I will be sticking with Aveeno now

I love this lotion so much! It’s the only lotion to save my hands after washing my hands so much from diaper changes, bathtime, and washing all those bottles/pump parts during baby’s first year. I was using petroleum jelly, coconut oil, and other lotions to try to save my hands, but nothing worked long term. My dry skin needed more. One day I found this lotion at target and decided to try on baby since it is calming after bath time. I only got it since he was already 1yr old. Due to the fragrance, I wouldn’t use it on smaller babies who might be scent sensitive. This lotion is now part of our bed time routine and I really feel that my toddler gets into a calm mood for bed when I massage him with this post bath time. Also helps to moisturize his back, which he is very prone to scratching from dryness. This lotion is wonderful. Even use it for my feet and I promise it will work for dry feet and make them nice! Anyway, highly recommend 🙂

My son suffers from moderate eczema and this is the only wash I buy for him. I dilute it in his bath and it has never given him a reaction (although eczema triggers are different for each person). In case helpful, he has also tolerated products by Honest Baby but I like this scent is better. The scent is subtle, especially when diluted. The “comfort” and “calming” part of it is subjective, I think. My son plays in his bath, which is right before bedtime so I’m not sure that he’s getting much of the calming effect. Also, can’t really speak to how moisturizing it is. If you have any eczema concerns you probably already know to cover them with cream or lotion from head to toe either way.

Every winter, I got a very bad dry skin (or rash in some area) ever since I was young, and it bothers me so much. So I was very carefully searching lotion for my baby because I was so worried any product would cost any harm in the gentle baby skin. Thanks god I found this product, it is SAFE, and never cost any rash in my baby skin. It is so smooth and I like messaging my baby’s back , hands and legs with this lotion after shower. More over, it helps a lot with my Rash/dry skin in winter time. I love it, I love the scents too. I strongly recommend this product! It definitely deserve Five Star!
