Bath time can be difficult for any parent, but for children with autism or sensory issues, it can be especially stressful. Many children on the autism spectrum have sensitivities to noise, touch, or visual stimulation, so bathing can be especially scary and intense. It can be difficult to soothe and distract a child during a bath, and many parents turn to bath toys to help children relax. However, not all bath toys are created equal; some can interfere with a child’s cognitive development while providing no meaningful sensory benefits, while others offer only fleeting, random pleasure. Bathtub toys are fun, but choosing them can be tricky. You want something that will entertain your child; keep them occupied when you’re not around; and be safe. But with so many options, how can you possibly decide?

I used it for my baby’s pool & bath time. She loves them
These bath toys are great, even outside of the tub! They float, swim/paddle when you wind then up! I’m not worried about them falling apart since they are wuite durable and have already been thrown around many times. They woild be a great gift for a toddler/infant.
Perfect for babies in tub or in baby pool
We bought this toy for our 15 months baby for Christmas gift. She loves to put everything in her mouth and chew on it. I am glad this bath toy is Not painted and very durable. The color of the turtles are the plastic color instead of white plastic with colorful painting. So I don’t need to worry about her eating any paint and I can easily clean them with soapy water. But make sure you empty the water from the tiny hole every time after you use them in the bathtub. The plastic is pretty thick and durable. We have used for about 2 weeks now, with my baby chewing on it and throwing it, it has no broken part yet and works well in the tub. The only things is my baby needs help spin it. One more thing is I really like the colors of the turtles, not so bright like other toys.
My Grandson who is 1 year old giggles all the time when it comes towards him in the bath tub. He picks it up when it gets to him( in the middle of the tub). Before it finishes running and he gets sprayed lightly by the turning feet and laughs some more!! He picks it up by the head and knows how to maneuver his hand so he doesn’t block the legs from moving. It is very well made and so glad that it moves through the water with ease and can go a decent distance before needing to wind it up again.
Our 2yr old grandson just loves to play with these; he has a previous set for the tub and we use these to help him enjoy the big pool with play while in his floating device. If you have a water baby or want to distract them from fear of water, these little turtles are helpful.
My daughter loved the movement of these! They are very sturdy and definitely worth the money.
These are pretty great little toys. My 2 year is able to turn the knobs, but not great at it which actually makes these even better toys because they’ll help little develop those important hand and finger muscles. These also don’t look or feel super cheap and the winding part has definitely evolved since swimming toys of the 80s and 90s.
These are so cute and fun to play with in the bath tub with my almost 3 year old! He has a hard time winding them up himself right now. He can do it a little but not great. It’s easy for adults to twist though and these suckers go fast and are funny to watch. My son gets a kick out of them!
Got these for my almost 1 year old granddaughter as a gift to make bath time more fun. She was delighted by them even before getting to try them in the bathtub. I can’t really speak to longevity, but as far as I know she hasn’t broken them yet, and they still work, and it’s been almost a month. . . . .
Toys are fun. They’re entertaining and they give children an outlet for creativity. But not all toys are safe. In fact, some bath toys can be downright dangerous. It’s important to know what to look out for and what toys provide the most enjoyment without putting your child’s safety at risk.
