It’s really pretty simple. The two halves nicely join together but are not hard to twist apart.

No it is not waterproof. It is just a ring that holds the AirTag. Apple lists the air tag as “water resistant”.

Hi Tabetha. Although you can cut the strap of the Belkin Air Tag Case, we don’t recommend it because it will void the warranty.

I’d say 2-250 feet maybe over 300 feet if there are no walls in a field or something. Complaint I have is mult phones on your find my phone app can’t track it only the phone that sets it up so if it’s for a kid or dog you would have to put 2 of them on the kid or dog for a mom and dad to both be able to track on their devices

This is much better than the Apple Air Tag cases/holders. The Belkin product is much less cumbersome IMHO.

While I do agree with some of the previous reviews that state this item is priced a little high for what it is, this is still a great alternative to the Apple leather keychains. The twist together locking mechanism holds securely in place once twisted together. This gets the job done and keeps your AirTag securely attached to your keys. If you’re looking for an inexpensive (comparatively) alternative to the Apple leather keychains, this would be a great choice.

I love this case! It’s easy to load the air tag, take the key ring off and you can slide the halves open. Once you the key ring back on this baby isn’t going anywhere! You also have confidence the key ring will be stuck wherever you put making sure you can track the tag where you intended!

I’m always misplacing my keys or wallet, I needed a solution to that issue. So my Apple airtag paired with this airtag case/holder is perfect for me and my needs.

Fits perfectly in the case without risk of falling out, and seems quite durable (I’ve dropped and banged up the case multiple times). Easy choice for me, will definitely buy more if needed!

This holder displays the airtag “nicely” as it is open on both sides, so you can clearly see the airtag’s engraving.
It does not affect the loudness of the beep the airtag can make unlike some holders do.

We have used 2 other Apple air tag holders for our Lab/Hound mix’s air tag and they have ripped, the air tag has fallen out, or the entire holder has fallen off of her collar. This product however, is great because it is a twist closure and the keyring goes through the top of it so there is not opportunity for the air tag to fall out of it!! It is a bit heavy but not too heavy that it annoys my dog or interferes with her playing. It just hangs low and kind of pulls her collar.

I have bought several Belkin air tag cases, this set is just a pair of many. These air tag cases fit the apple air tags perfectly and snap tightly. They are easy to take apart (when needed) and feel even more secure with the included key ring (I actually swapped out my old key rings for the Belkin one because the Belkin one is sturdier).

I used this set for the spare keys for my parents’ car and my car because I’m notorious for losing keys.
I hope to never lose another set of keys again with this and the apple airtags, fingers crossed!

If you’re like me there have been times when you have lost or misplaced your keys. Replacing Smart Keys can be very expensive so it makes sense to pay a fraction of that to get peace of mind in knowing the Air Tag will tell you precisely where to find your keys. In my opinion this is a Must Have product.

We had a rubber fob-type holder, but the Air Tag could be popped out with little pressure, and little effort, which did not inspire confidence that it would remain with our lost or misplaced keys. So we ordered one of these, based on positive reviews, and were very impressed how securely it holds the Air Tag, increasing our confidence that it would remain attached when needed. Recommended for key rings and similar types of attachment.

I ordered two of these, a black one for me and a pink one for my wife, that way I know my keys from my wife’s keys. These are more expensive then some of the other brands out there but cheaper then the Apple Key Chain, but I liked the hard plastic vs the silicone and this one is well made and holds my AirTag securely, I have no complaints.
