Hello! The BlueParrott M300-XT can be worn on either the right or left ear. Thank you!
The continuous beep, means the headset is muted. If you tap quickly the MSD button, (the power button) it should stop. Holding the power button, to power off the headset works as well. If you can’t get it to stop beeping, I would get ahold of customer service. Hope this helps!
It’s says one year in the description.

Info About BlueParrott B350-XT Noise Cancelling Bluetooth Headset – Updated Design with Industry Leading Sound and Improved Comfort, Hands-Free Headset with Expanded Wireless Range and IP54-Rated Protection (Reviews From Amazon)
The reviews are correct, mentioning the tiny ear pads. They cause these to sit on your ears instead of cushioning around them. I was amazed at how much difference it made to replace the ear pads with B01G6XL6M0
This is the only product I’ve found that has a noise cancelling boom microphone AND stereo headphones. A handful of people reviewing have confused “noise cancelling” with sealed hearing protection. Noise cancellation is the process of removing or reducing certain specific noises in the mix. These are not hearing protection and aren’t even trying to be.
With the abuse of the term “noise cancellation,” I don’t think these actually noice cancel the headphone portion. The microphone, however, is awesome.
The microphone noise cancellation reduces ambient noises. I was sitting at an airport gate when the lady stared paging for someone to come see the gate agent. While that message would usually drown me out, it was almost completely muted. The party on the other end of the phone call was shocked that I was at the airport. Previous calls in the same location rendered me inaudible during the overhead paging. It’s night and day.
Music quality is good in these headphones. Everyone’s looking for something different in a sound. These produce a pretty flat and unmodified version of my MP3s. Some people might complain that the bass isn’t enough. I think it’s great and true to the music.
I wasn’t happy about the price, but this is a pretty unique item that is hard to find. I also wasn’t willing to try the generic crummy no-name versions for $30. If you need to take phone calls and noisy places, and also want a headset that doubles as music listening, this is a great set.
The simple fact that I can use a boom microphone to get great sound from my voice, but took it out of the way where it’s not even visible when I’m not using it: that makes this the perfect set for me.
See my picture of the tiny default your pads, compared to my recommended Bose replacement. For about $15, it makes all the difference in comfort on this headset.
My boyfriend is a truck driver & it was getting hard to hear him on his airpods & they would always cut out so I bought these for him & he really loves it. If he picks up the phone i can hear so much noise in the back, but if he has these on it sounds like he could be in the restroom because of how quite it is. The one & only flaw it has is the cushion that comes with headset. It doesn’t cover your ear, it just sits on top of it so it does cause some ear pains for him. For the money the ear piece could be a bit more thought out.
My husband has been a professional truck driver otr, local and now in the oil fields. He has had several bluetooth’s (Blue Tiger Elite, Blue Tiger Deluxe & BlueParrott B250xt just to name a few) designed for truck drivers. Comfort wise they start off great but, 8-10 hours into your 14hrs your ear tends to hurt and switching ears ends up being to awkward. The need of scratching your head while wearing a ball cap ends up being fun specially driving and holding a conversation. With the BlueParrott c400xt it’s been comfortable all 14 hrs, can wear with my ball cap or hard hat and not have to worry about taking it off during a conversation to scratch his head or change hats. Not to mention no longer having to worry if it is sprinkling or snowing outside when it comes to my Bluetooth becoming damaged when he gets out of his truck. As far as size of it he thinks it’s far better than some of the others he has had and really likes the earmuff feature remaining because the in the ear buds are far worse. He has had no issues with broken parts everything works great.
I’m a trucker and this thi g works fantastic,No noise can be heard from the person I’m talking to,and as far as listening to music great sound,so if your looking for a great all around headset this is it……
I have had all the many types of Blue parrot. The main reason I keep buying them is I am def. I was a M1A2 Abrams Tank Crew man in the Army..After 7 years and Iraq my hearing is really bad..I just dont understand why other companys are so scared to turn up the volume, theirs a control for it..Blue parrot the best out their..One other thing is that its really ticking me off..The read back of my text messages..Sometimes it works and other times it does not..Not sure its a bug or what I have done everything possable to resolve the issue but still cant get it to work all the time so I just give up..Other than that its a great head set..
It’s for “making phone calls” (or Skype or whateverApp) so I’m not judging it for music quality. For communications it’s better than any other I’ve tried in the past, but not immensely, and not in every way. But it’s pretty dang good and I won’t be replacing it until it wears out or breaks.
The main point of comparison is the Plantronics Voyager Legend I used previously. It was a good device and had noticeably better noise cancelling. If my environment was loud that would matter more but generally it’s not. This M300-XT shines in a few ways that matter more to me.
– BT 5.x seems to work more smoothly with multiple devices.
– The battery life is much better. The incredible battery life negates the advantage the Plantronics had in existence of a charging case.
– The device charges from the same USB-C connector as my phone and can actually be charged FROM my phone with a standard C to C wire. This standardization of charging is a pretty big deal to me. I don’t need one weirdo cable (or a charging case) to keep track of so I can recharge thankyouverymuch.
– Noise cancellation is pretty good and good enough.
Some minor issues: The Blue Parrot “special button” seems to not work properly most of the time. I don’t care much about that but it’s a little disappointing. A little rubber self-tethered USB-C port plug to enhance weather protection would be welcome; I’ve not had a problem but I don’t want one either.
Executive summary: Would buy again.
The media could not be loaded. Love it i got it at a lower price in the save selection i paid roughly almost twenty dollars because the box was damaged and opened and let me tell you i love it this BlueParrott blue tooth is superb surpasses all my expectations/ trucker approved
I have owned multiple headsets for the past three years and this is by far the best one yet. I work outside all day everyday (eight to ten hours). Collectively, I am on the phone for about six hours throughout the day. I leave the device powered on throughout my entire shift and have never ran out of battery. I have even forgotten to turn it off at the end of the day and it is still on the next morning! The call quality on both ends is excellent and the volume is sufficient, even in loud environments (I work construction). I would highly recommend this to truckers, construction workers, and anyone else that needs to utilize their hands all day but enjoy the virtual company of others!
I came from a Plantronics Legend for years and would need 2 to last all day at work. This lasts all day and has 70% remaining. Standard USB-C charging.
I have used this for a few months in the summer working outside for a utility (sweat, dirt, etc.) and no issues.
Slightly bigger than the Legend, but not uncomfortable. Earbuds are standard gels and are cheap to replace.
All the things I always wished the Legend had are in this. Strongly recommend!… and I rarely do that.
I’m a cement truck driver and the environment is noisy to say the least. Engine noise, backup beepers, and different equipment types that all produce noise. The blue parrot headsets have been my go to for the past six years. These new ones cancel more noise than my previous set. I also appreciate the voice command to know who’s calling and say answer or ignore and never take my eyes off the road. The new battery in these can and has held a charge for 46 hours while talking and listening to the direction from maps. A professional headset and top notch in my opinion.
