The LC30133PKS is not a magnetic ink. The black ink is a pigment based and the colors are water base inks.

The best guidance we can give you is the find the model number on your printer. In the search bar enter that number to search for ink & toner. ie ink for printer model ####### . Then it will give you the correct ink for your system. Otherwise there are NUMEROUS models & products.

LC3011, yields approx. 200 pages and the LC3013, yields approx. 400 pages.

The LC30133PKS cartridges will not fit in the MFC-J985DW printer. This printer uses the LC20E series cartridges.

This printer is junk I have had the same problem as you have detecting the black ink I will junk this print to shortly

No, the Brother MFC-J497DW uses the Brother LC-3011 and LC-3013 cartridges.

Are you sure you own one of the following printers (MFC-J491DW), (MFC-J497DW), (MFC-J690DW), (MFC-J895DW)? That set of cartridges are on compatible for those specific printers.

I have the J497DW and it takes a black cartridge as well as the three color cartridges. It does an excellent job printing photos.

Unfortunately a return label is not included with the Brother LC1033 ink cartridge. You can recycle the empty ones at your local recycling company or request a free recycling label at our support site.

I have many printers including both laser and inkjet. I needed a low cost and effective printer for a simple home use.

The Brother printer is excellent. Cost effective and decent color rendition.

The cartridges are cheaper and seem to last as long as the more expensive ones from Canon and HP.

These are plug and play and easy to insert. With the Brother printer the cartridge slots can be opened and accesses from a separate access door. You don’t have to open or lift the top of the printer to simply plug in a cartridge.

We tried generic and it caused our printer to stop working. So we went back to ordering genuine Brother ink and have not had a problem. We no longer get errors and out of ink alerts when there it still ink. It may cost more but in the long run you are better off buying Brother product.

I ordered these for future use since I bought the printer a couple of months ago to replace an ancient HP that was about to stop pulling paper through. The lower capacity cartridges work well. These should, too, but lasting a bit longer.

I just wish my MFC-J895DW didn’t use so much ink when cleaning the print heads! That was Consumer Report’s biggest complaint in an otherwise top-rated printer.

After using non oem ink, i finally switched back to genuine brother ink. What I noticed is that if you use non oem ink, it will waste a lot of ink during the cleaning the print head cycles. You also don’t know exactly how much ink is left. So now, the ink levels show properly, and no wasted ink in cleaning cycles.

I dislike the high price of Brother ink but I don’t use OEM’s in my printer because I believe the printer needs good quality ink which Brother ink is. It give a crisp clear print. I guess you get what you pay for.

We had purchased cheaper ink but it didn’t last nearly as long and several pages at the end were of bad quality.
This ink made many many copies and all were of great quality. We will continue to buy the real deal.

Direct replacement for the original cartridges. I don’t print very much so a pack will last me for 4 ir 5 months. Don’t forget to clean your print head on a regular basis to keep it from getting gummed up with ink.

Not quite sure how long my ink will last as I just purchased it. Since now we are having to do more work at home, with this pandemic. Color printouts though look very good. The cost I thought was great and I will definitely be ordering again.

I’ve bought off-brand ink before and totally regretted it… that said, i will always buy the brother brand for my printer. They’re no issue, ink prints great, straight swap, zero mess and no complaints.

The Brother brand printer and ink cartridges are good and the ink lasts a good amount. The ink cartridges are simple to place. And no complicating steps that is a waste of time on using the printer.
