It Can’t. This car phone holder can clamp a phone with a thickness of less than 7mm. If your phone has a thin phone case, it can be clamped, but for a phone with a battery pack, this holder is not suitable

I’m sure with some practicing it could be easy to loosen it with one hand, but it might not be comfortable. There’s a piece on the back you press almost like a button and it loosens the clamp. The adhesive on my last vehicle lasted for over 3 years. I had to let it go with the vehicle because it was almost impossible to get it off. If your looking for a long lasting phone mount, then this is the one to use. Highly recommended.

I use Clorox wipes to clean the area real good before applying the adhesive. It haven’t moved since and I drive a tractor trailer.

It’s very sturdy and it has an attachment you can use to prevent any bumping or shaking. I don’t have any issues with vibrations.

The media could not be loaded.  About other reviews talking about suction, if you wet the suction cup and then adhere the base to the dashboard and let it sit overnight BEFORE driving, the suction is perfectly fine. However if you’re going to wet the suction cup and add it directly to t
the platform, of course it is going to sway back-and-forth until the water actually dries. In the video I show the shaking that people have talked about it doesn’t bother me at all it’s minimal and the phone can be grounded with the piece included in the box. The media could not be loaded.  I’m sorry but some people’s bad reviews make no sense to me. If you have a flat, untextured surface, the built-in suction cup is VERY good.

If you have a textured or un-flat surface, you must use the 3M sticker and disk.
And, you need to peel the sticker of the back of the 3M disk. However, read on for a neat trick.

If you have an Infotainment screen that sticks up out of your dash, you can use the back of that as the surface to mount the built-in suction cup – without using the 3M Sticker. Watch my video and you’ll see. You’re welcome… 🙂

Also, the bendable bar is very rigid and looks great. The little stabilizer is a real nice touch.

So i travel hundred of miles a week for work and need a sturdy rough road, tons of use mount that lets me have my phone exactly where I want it without blocking my vents. This fit the bill. I have used it for months and months and had 0 issues. Well I’m selling my car and went to remove it tonight, and holy COW! I was SO impressed with this thing. Once you mount it, it’s now a part of your car and it’s never coming off again. I’m pretty sure this beast would survive a hurricane. I will be buying a second one for my new car. I was able to remove the suction cup and main mount however the plate under it…well it’s now a permanent fixture to the dash. I fought for 20 minutes to get it off and then gave up. If that’s not what you’re looking for, skip this! But if you want something hardcore and permanent this is the best I’ve ever had!

This suction mount phone holder is one of the best I’ve ever own. I have gone through three holders. Either they droop, swivel, can’t hold my phone properly, or fall off the windshield. This holder is great. It holds my iPhone XR with case and a ThinOptic case on the back. Even with that bulk, the holder fits it snugly. I do t worry when I hit a bump that my phone will pop out. And the packaging was top notch. Nicely done. Highly recommend this holder.

The media could not be loaded.  I forgot to mention in the video that on the back of the phone holder part there’s a little button and you just push it and the arms open and it has a nice padding that the phone will just sit there with a truck when it’s open so you don’t have to worry about the phone just falling right out I think it’s really great I love that you can push the button it opens and then you just close it from the front and it’s very easy to use again the way I have it I don’t need to use the suction cup holder I don’t need that for how I’m using it and I just really think it’s a great product I’m very happy with it. Actually I will go ahead and make a short little video showing that and showing the padding on the inside so that you could see it real quick but again it’s a great product it’s very sturdy I really love it I I had to take back two other products that I had purchased that said that they would do the same thing that this does and you couldn’t even get it to stick I mean it was just ridiculous they were falling apart in my hands before I could even use it so I love this product I think it’s great I would definitely recommend this to everybody in fact I have. Also one more thing there is a little opening on the bottom of the car phone holder so that you can still plug your phone and you’re still able to charge your phone while it is in the phone holder perfect

I used this phone mount for my Toyota Corolla 2020 and it was a very strange fit because of the cars dash board and screen positioning. I managed to get it to work by sticking the adhesive/stabilizer to the top of the screen. Before this, I had a really cheap $5 phone holder from Walmart made by onn. The phone stand was very flimsy and my phone would fall out easily even on slow roads. So far I’ve drove a couple places with this mount installed and my phone has not fallen out at all. It seems to be sturdy so far. I will update this review in the future if anything happens. I have also applied for their 1 year warranty which is attached on a card in the box.

It was extremely easy to assemble and took little to effort. It is very sturdy and not cheap looking at all. The only negative is even with following the instructions to a t mine does not stick consistently to my dash. I don’t know if it’s in the place I placed it or the 100 degree plus heat. Other than that I will definitely be buying more for Christmas presents and for my teenager step daughter. It’s cheap and really nice. It just doesn’t sit with my case and my pop socket. I had to take the pop socket off for my phone to fit.

After having and trying at least a half dozen different styles of phone holders over the years, this is the one that works best for me!
I wanted something that extends into the cabin a bit, so the phone doesn’t overheat in the sun on the dashboard. Some were too long (making the phone bounce around), and some were too short, and/or flimsy and unmanageable. I also like that the arm comes out of the side the suction mount, not the top like most, giving it a slightly more ergonomic look (no more bending 90 degrees from the top of the suction mount).
This holder works perfectly for my vehicle at the best viewing angle. Its robust arm and the holder itself feels solid and is easily rotated for landscape viewing as well. I did have to use the included dashboard disc to make it a rock steady, secure suction attachment, but I feel that this is as secure as can be, and I am confident that it won’t be going anywhere.
The arm is very solid, but still pliable enough to adjust as needed, and once mounted correctly, it barely moves on the bumpiest of roads.
Best phone mount I have used.

This is very easy to install! You just need to pick any smooth flat surface on the dash, peel off the backing, stick it the dash, and push down the suction cup. It also comes up easily if you need to move it. I love that you can adjust it to sit pretty much wherever you want. I originally had it hanging down closer to the wheel, but it was blocking the air flow, so I rotated it so it would be between the vents. The knob on the back of the actual holder also adjusts so that you can rotate it or change the angle. It fell out one time because it was tilted too far forward, but I simply loosened it and tilted it back a little, and it’s been fine. It does bounce a little on bumps since it’s on the arm, but that’s not a major problem. Great holder for the price!

This came with a few extra features that I didn’t end up needing – the stabilizer and the dash mount. I stuck it the window and it hasn’t budged at all. It shakes a little, but not enough to disrupt being able to track the screen- it hardly moves at all. The side grips are firm, but they don’t spring clamp, so you’re fingers are safe. They slowly release as well with a button on the back. The ‘neck’ of the holder is bendable, but super stiff. It makes it difficult to adjust, but it won’t budge once you have it where you want it.

Overall a dependable phone mount that adheres firmly to a glass windshield. Would definitely recommend.
