You can reel up and reel down, but you cannot actually cast the line, which is probably a good thing!

Does water get inside them? I’m just kind of worried because some bath toys get water trapped inside and can grow mold.

So far none have taken on any water and they’ve been through the bath a dozen times or more.

1 of the 2 fishing poles came without a line or magnet. Can I purchase the poles individually?

There are no names. Just used our own names, like whale, crab, lobster, seashell, etc.

Can you play with no water indoors?

Yes. That’s how my grandsons usually play with it. With hazardous air quality here in Oregon, they are unable to be outside. They are 18 months and 4 years old. This make a good distraction for them.
