This wonderful cream is easy to use. It does the job ~ and fast. The pain is gone. Now I sit and sleep 😴 so much better. If you are a bit older use it to make life better.

The reason I am a huge advocate of Desitin is that it has the highest percentage (40%) of Zinc Oxide than any other ointment on the market. I have personally used this product for decades for my child, when she was a baby, and for my own perineal areas. The key to healing wounds on the skin, in areas that don’t get a lot of air, is that the ointment needs to stay on the skin long enough to provide a lasting barrier to bacteria. Desitin sticks to the wound in those areas, where a bandage isn’t feasible, better than any other product I’ve found.

I use this every day because I wear adult urine pads. When my pad gets wet and I cannot change it quickly using Desitin prevents rash from developing around my private parts. It is thick and long lasting. I use a disposable glove and smear it my private parts. I prefer the jar but it is not always available so I order the tubes. It has a slight odor but nothing offensive. I have been using for years.

After cancerous prostate was removed, I was prescribed 2 slaves for the urine burn that comes with leakage. The 2 had to be mixed and were expensive. Then I thought, What about babies? What do mothers use on their little ones? Went to the supermarket and looked on the baby aisle and found this wonderful stuff. Have been using it for years. And, it is so much cheaper.

Our little was out on hypoallergenic formula which gave her a MEAN diaper rash. We were prescribed an anti fungal which helps but we needed a little something to help the healing process. The trick is to air our their bottom after a poop, lay them down for tummy time and air out that tush. When it’s time for a diaper the only product we have found that has helped us this one. Smells a little strange but not bad. The regular desitin worked okay but this one has dramatically helped her diaper rash.

Desitin’s been around since I had my first child and now with grandkids, I’m grateful to have it handy and know it’ll work super fast and effectively for any type of skin rash. Pleasantly surprised, Desitin hasn’t changed anything in its maximum strength cream: same formula, same distinct smell, and same extremely effective and quick -great- results!

I foster disabled and hospice pugs and they frequently are incontinent due to pug myelopathy (plus pugs are often not great at house training) so we use a lot of belly bands. I change them very frequently but sometimes they still get diaper rash and this works great to get them healed up super quickly. It’s very thick and one application lasts all day typically. There’s no real scent which is good because I’d think that would be irritating. All in all this is a good aid for the pugs

As for scent… It was very little scent. As for being able to spread it easily… Just remember a little bit goes a long way and this stuff is really hard to wash off but on the flip, it keeps the wet away from the baby. My baby is very sensitive to certain foods and gets almost acidic like feces. Which means she doesn’t want me to touch her much less washer off at a diaper change. As soon as I see this acidic-like diarrhea, I apply desitin and it lessens it to a very great degree. My baby will blister and has had boils pop up on her little hip. The boils I treat with a different product but this helps to keep the boils from even happening and lessens the episodes of blisters. I use this internet naps and overnight And of course anytime she’s having a reaction to food. I can’t imagine not having this product.

My mother who recently became bed bound was starting to get bed sores. I’m so glad I tried this Desitin. It works great! My mother is finally free from bed sores. Thanks Desitin!

Desitin really helped to relieve my hemorrhoid flare-ups. It actually worked better than my prescription medications.
