I can’t tell you if it is safe – it works fine and we have not had any problems. We don’t often need an alarm, so I can’t tell you whether or not the alarm is easy to use. I would buy it again.

The alarm continues to sound until you press a button.
When you press snooze it will stop for nine minutes and ring until you press snooze again or something else. If you press pause it will stop and work again in 24 hours. If you press off it stops until you set it again.

There is really nothing I dislike about this clock! It has 2 alarms which are loud, clearly marked buttons and instructions are clear. There is a USB port in the back so I can charge my phone and it charges it fairly quickly. This was a huge score, to be honest.

The box for this product is unique and doesn’t really hint at what is inside, but is pleasant visually and would be fine as a last-minute gift without wrapping. Packaging is minimalist but secure and the contents are easy to unbox. Batteries are not included, so have AAA batteries ready before use (for power outage to keep the alarm operating).

Instructions are best used by left-handed folks. For some reason the booklet is laid out for English users but seems oriented right to left. Be sure to review the diagram before you begin setting up, because you’ll find the visuals are upside-down while reading the directions.

Since the buttons on the product are in natural left-to-right order, you should find initial set-up a breeze. The time set buttons are first, alarms and snooze are next, and buttons you will use less are off to the side. The USB port is at the back, so be aware of this if you like to charge devices from your unit.

Dimmer is perfect: if you’re disturbed by lights from your clock at night, this is perfect for you, as it can be turned down to no illumination if needed (watch the accompanying video in the product description). Alarm adjusts easily. I also like the daylight saving and military time functions.

I love the big numbers. The bright blue is easy on the eyes. The dimmer on the brightness a big plus!

Commas are important: Good, and Loud. This clock is replacing a perfectly serviceable clock that had a lot of stuff I didn’t use: radio, bluetooth, presets, and so on: with black-on-black buttons I would end up unsure whether I had set the alarm to my desire: buzzer, or to “MP3” or “Bluetooth” which would produce nothing.

Anyway: I was looking for a basic nothing-but-time dual-alarm clock, and here it is. Yes, Daylight Savings Time: “It’s supposed to be automatic, but actually you have to push this button.” Brightness goes from Very to Can’t See At Night, so a good range; I set it to 2 on a 1-5 range. Large easy-to-see digits. It is very thin, but comes with a couple of pegs to help it stay upright. The Snooze Button is fairly large and projects above the rest: easy to find while half-asleep, and the Alarm off-for-the-day is just to the right of it. Off-for-good is the next button over. Time setting and alarm setting are so basic as to not require the manual.

The only complaint I have about this clock, and that knocks off a star, is that the alarm is loud. Even on the lowest setting, it will jolt you awake. It doesn’t start quiet and build, just BEEP BEEP BEEP. The speaker is in the back, and I have duct-taped a piece of foam over it, which makes it tolerable. It is worth noting that my very first alarm clock, in HS, was so loud to me that I put it in my sock drawer when I went to bed, and it would still get me up; so perhaps I am sensitive to it. Even so, with the added modification, this clock does the job. I am going to stick with it.

The clock itself is easy to use, easy to read, doesn’t take up much space, love the dimming feature. But it has one major design flaw for what I wanted. I loved the USB port to be able to charge my phone from the clock and not have to use another plug for my phone and clock. But the usb is in the back of the clock… the clock is very lightweight so anytime the cord gets tugged at all, the clock moves and get crooked. I wish it was on the side or front

I really like that I can adjust the brightness of the display so it doesn’t blind me during the night when I check the time. Very easy to use. Easy to set the time and alarms. I also like that I can modulate the alarm sound so it doesn’t deafen me when it goes off.

I needed a clock! We dropped cable and went to an online service- good move, much cheaper. The problem was the cable box had always been the clock under the TV. I wanted something visible from across the room without glasses that just worked. I found this unit and it fills the bill nicely. It has large digits (2″ or so), bright clear display and a neutral black design that fades away. I put it in the same place as the old Set top box and its been very good. The price is great and it works great. Good seller too.

I previously had a radio/alarm clock with battery backup where the battery backup stopped working. We have frequent power interruptions, so I wanted an alarm with battery backup. I don’t ever use the radio feature, so one with just alarm was sufficient. And I like having two alarm settings. This clock fit the bill at a reasonable price, and other reviews seemed good. I like that all the routinely used time and alarm controls are easily accessible on the top. Some other alarm clocks have these settings on the back, which is inconvenient. The clock and alarm times are easy to set, and controls are obvious and intuitive. The “Dimmer” button allows you to easily adjust the brightness of the display. When Alarm 1 and/or 2 is set, little images appear on the left side of the screen showing they are on. Pressing the “Alarm Off” button turns these off (press once if only one alarm is set, press again if both are set). To set the alarms, press the one you want to set (Alarm 1 or Alarm 2), and the display will start flashing. Use the hour and minute buttons to set. Once set, the time will continue to flash for a few seconds then hold at what you set. Or you can press the alarm button again or the “Snooze/OK” button to stop the flashing and register your setting. You can adjust the alarm volume with the Volume +/- buttons on the left side of the clock. A tone is sounded each time you press so you can hear the volume. When the alarm goes off, pressing the Snooze button will give you an extra 9 minutes until it goes off again. Or you can press the “Alarm Pause” or “Alarm Off” button. “Alarm Pause” turns off the particular alarm (1 or 2) for 24 hours so it won’t beep again until the next day. “Alarm Off” turns it off so it won’t beep again until you turn it back on. Once you set times for the Alarm 1 and Alarm 2, these times are retained each time you turn them off and back on, unless you change them. (This seems obvious, but I mention it only because one review I read seemed to indicate this might not be the case.) You can tell if Alarm 1 and/or 2 is set to go off by whether the small icons on the left side of the screen are showing. If an alarm is off, just press the Alarm 1 and/or 2 button to turn back on. The icon will then display on the screen.

There is a button on the right side of the clock to toggle modes between either 12 hour (AM/PM) or 24 hour (e.g., military time). Also, if you hold this button in for about 3 seconds, it will add an hour to the current time and display a little “DST” (daylight savings time) symbol on the right side of the face (i.e., “Spring forward”). Pressing it again for about 3 seconds will subtract an hour and remove the DST symbol (i.e., “Fall back”). This saves having to re-set the time twice a year. All very logical and intuitive.

One other thing to mention. Several unboxing videos by some reviewers seem to wonder what the two little black square pieces are that are packaged with the clock. I’m not sure why this seems confusing. These are obviously feet. They each have a little post on them, and there are a couple of holes in the back of the clock to insert them. These are easy to insert and fit snugly. They provide a little more width to the base to make the clock more stable, so it won’t tip over when you go to hit the Snooze or Alarm Pause or Off buttons.

The only slight negative observation I have is that the display can be a little glary and washed out in bright sunlight when viewed from across the room. Making the display brighter helps, but then it is too bright if you wake up and look at the time during the night. As a result, I tend to set the display brightness towards one of the middle settings. This is obviously a personal preference that will vary. All-in-all, this is a nice little alarm clock with big numbers that are easy to read without glasses at a very reasonable/inexpensive price.

I needed a basic click for my daughters room to help her with when to get out of bed in the morning (not 5am! lol) This clock fits the bill. The display is large and can be easily seen from across the room, the display I chose is white so there will be no sleep cycle interference and the dimmer is awesome! I can dim down the display so low that it can be seen, but not be in any way bright enough to light up the room and keep my daughter awake-great for a kid with sleep trouble.
I highly recommend this clock for the features, ease of use & the low price.

I was amazed at how lightweight yet well constructed digital alarm clock is! I placed it on my nightstand next to my older digital radio alarm clock and found the numbers on this digital alarm clock is so much clearer and brighter than the older clock!

The dimmer is adjustable from a very bright screen to a barely visible screen. Although this clock is not as large as my previous clock, it sits high enough on my nightstand to clearly view the time throughout the night!

I liked it so well, I purchased another one for the other nightstand in my room!

I highly recommend it and feel it is very well priced.
