If you add animations that go on a click – them yes. I “animate” videos and other things so it plays when I click from across the room. It depends on how you set up your presentation.
Yes
I can only get the "present" feature to work with ppt – not google slides. It will scroll once I click to present the google slides with my mouse, but if I try holding down the up arrow like the instructions indicate, it simply refreshes the page instead of starting the presentation.
Yes, I have used it with both my Mac laptop and iMac desktop computers. It also works on PC desktops.
Yes the clicker does allow the advancement and reverse for a presentation/slide.

Info About DinoFire Wireless Presenter, Hyperlink Volume Control Presentation Clicker RF 2.4GHz USB PowerPoint Clicker Presentation Remote Control Pointer Slide Advancer (Black) (Reviews From Amazon)
The media could not be loaded. The instructions are lacking, but I figured out how to do everything I want to do with this remote except jump to the beginning of the presentation. Take a look at the video I made to give a better demo of how to use the product (except I forgot to mention the volume control–it has that, too).
Great “clicker”, serves its purpose. I needed a presentation clicker and I needed it FAST. Amazon Prime never lets you down! (well…almost never). This clicker is about the size of a pen, comes with a nifty carrying bag, and doesn’t require a driver so you can just plug it into your USB port and go! And it’s cheap for us poor grad students. Just be sure the USB connector goes all the way in. It’s a pretty small piece, and I spent way too long trying to figure out why my slides weren’t advancing; I just didn’t have the USB connector in all the way…oops!
This is a great product for a great price. Great size. Very light weight. Laser works great. Easy setup. Just plug in the USB and you are ready to go. Highly recommended.
I was originally looking at some of the mid-range to higher end wireless presenters at first, but I decided to start off with this one instead. I am glad I did. I just recently started making some Power Point presentations and this wireless presenter works great! If you are just starting off making presentations I would definitely recommend this product to start off with. I would also recommend it even if you are more advanced in making presentations. I decided to start off with this wireless presenter and have it as a backup for later on if and when I decide to get a higher end one.
This product serves all the basic functions that the listing states as well as the double-press, and press and hold features it states. I was having a bit of a hard time with the double-press, and hold and press features at first, but I viewed the demo video that a customer attached to a review and now I am able to use those features just fine. Thanks for that video!
Overall, this is a great product for a great price and I highly recommend it. As a side note, I also purchased a Hermitshell travel case that is perfect for this DinoFire Wireless Presenter. Just a recommendation for those who want some extra protection for this product aside from the cloth cover bag that comes with this DinoFire Wireless Presenter.
This is a great presenter and laser pointer. Just got it and am very pleased. It works perfectly with my MacBook Pro – just slip the small USB receiver into your computer, turn on the presenter and you are ready to go. I had no difficulty getting it to work with both Powerpoint and Keynote. As others have said, it does take a moment to get used to the idea of the down arrow being the key to move forward in the presentation but that is not a difficult problem.
The laser is red color and has good intensity.
I have not used the url connection function nor the volume control as I do not need these.
I am very pleased with this device. Just wish the instructions didn’t require a microscope to read. Sort of strains the eyes.
Arrived on time, exactly as described, very reasonable price. And does precisely as it’s supposed to, flawlessly. All the positive reviews are correct: this set up instantly with no hassles, worked immediately right out-of-the-box, and required a learning curve of about 10 seconds. I use it for powerpoint presentations to advance slides and show videos, etc. Nice feature is that there is also volume control and you can adjust sound level while being away from the computer. Many reviewers mention the laser pointer, I didn’t care about that, but found it to be a helpful tool and couldn’t be easier to use. This is one of the best purchases of any type I’ve ever made: it is simply a perfect tool at a great price that is easy to use and makes my life as a speaker easier and better. Five stars, and beyond. Thanks!
This was a great product purchase for me. It was very inexpensive and easy to use. I really liked that it is compact and fits into any of my suit pockets or into the pen pocket in my briefcase. Its very sleek and simple design works great for any business person on the go. It uses just one AAA battery and has a built in USB adapter to use with any computer. Comes with a laser pointer and can control the slides of your presentation. It is a great buy and work as advertised.
I bought the DinoFire for three workshops I was leading in Europe. Somewhere in the travels I lost the usb dongle and had to revert to using an old presenter I had (not the same at all!) On the travel at some point I wrote to [email protected] asking where to buy another usb dongle since I so preferred my new one and didn’t want to use the old. The support has been fantastic — and they’re sending me a new dongle. absolutely amazing.
I got this because I teach a lot of classes in the military. I don’t like being stuck at my computer when teaching the classes. The product is big enough that you don’t feel like you are going to lose it, but small enough that it fits comfortably in your hand. There was no instillation of driver’s or anything like that (I use Windows 7). I just plugged it in and it was ready to use a few seconds later. I also like that it has a slot to hold the USB doggle.
Basic but works great! I teach and have owned some of the more ornate products that serve this purpose. They were mostly good but did not seem to last very long. This device is a replacement for the first one I bought (it did not fail, it disappeared from a classroom in which I had carelessly left it; I am convinced one of my fellow professors stole it!). It does not have a lot of functions, but it does the basic things I need it to. It has proven durable (as I normally transport it back and forth to classrooms) and the batteries last a good long time if you turn it off between actual uses. At least one of my colleagues asked where I got it and now has one of his own (hmmm…..maybe it is mine!).
The DinoFire Wireless Presenter replaces my old and cheap method of presenting with my blue-tooth mouse (yes, really). Not only is it easier to navigate through my PowerPoint slides with the DinoFire than the mouse’s scroll-wheel, the DinoFire allows me to easily switch between open programs, including the desktop, or to display a blank screen, though not all at the same time ;-). Similarly, it has a laser pointer which is far more effective than shadow puppets (unintentional or otherwise), and makes for great fun with cats (and some humans).
The receiver has a fairly low profile, and is pictured with the DinoFire in a 15” laptop for size comparison. It sticks out just far enough that I do not recommend leaving it installed when not in use. The receiver is easily removed and stored in the pointer itself, held in place via a magnet. I highly recommend against putting it back in the pointer upside-down for storage. It might seem like a good idea, at least it did to me (face-palm), but you WILL have a hard time getting it back out (unless you have super powers for handling slippery plastic surfaces that defy clumsy fat fingers).
The pointer itself has more features than I personally use. For all its specs, options, and software see the manufacturer’s website via your amazing Google-foo: I would include a link here, but want to stay friends with Amazon ♥. It fits neatly in my hand, shirt pocket, pants pocket, or in any (in)convenient place where I might absently set it down (nope, it does not have a homing beacon).
I have used it now on either a daily or a weekly basis for several months without any hiccups or need for battery replacement. Well, except the day I forgot to plug the receiver into the laptop. Took me a bit to figure out why it would not navigate my slides, especially since the pointer worked just fine (face-palm take two). One other tidbit: it helps to turn it on.
So, I highly recommend spending a little on the DinoFire, especially as a mouse replacement for both presentations and cats.
I purchased the DinoFire fair-and-square, and did not participate in the dubious activity of a paid promotion.
