Yes
Yes. It’s also a more natural soap, so those ( like me) that have sensitive skin can use it without worry.
COVID-19 protocol
Shampoo, yes, but not body soap. I am anxiously awaiting them coming out with beard soap so I can buy it for the bearded man I buy the soap for.
Not sure because I still put lotion on after I dry off from taking a shower. they do smell good in the bathroom and connecting rooms while you are applying it in the shower. I don’t rely on soaps for moisturizing after I dry off.

I got mine… maybe the delivery driver smelled them and decided to try them!

Info About Dr. Squatch All Natural Bar Soap for Men, 5 Bar Variety Pack – Cool Fresh Aloe, Alpine Sage, Spearmint, Bay Rum and Grapefruit IPA (Reviews From Amazon)
Just had my first shower with the pine tar soap, and I have to say my skin feels clean and I smell great. I think a lot of the negative reviews regarding this product are users who are mishandling the soap. I recommend the following; cutting the soap into squares and using one at a time, isolating the soap away from water, keeping the soap in plastic bags to keep the scent “sealed” and during the shower rinsing yourself off then cut off the water lathering up followed by a final rinse. It saves water and you get maximum value out of your soap! I hope this helps, and I really hope the company is taking notes and informs it’s customers of the best way to handle their product.
So I used Dove mens exfoliating bar soap up to now. I could never stand most bar soaps because you wash yourself and I could always feel that soap scum feeling on my skin, sometimes all day, and dove was the only one that didnt leave me with that, DR. Squatch kind of give me that too, but its gone by the time I dry off.
I got the 5 pack, with 5 scents, and to do a kindof scientific research into this for my own purposes, and the review, I would wash, leave the bar to dry, put it away, and use a different one each day, then I would switch back to my normal dove, I did this for 2 weeks. First off, dove made my skin feel instantly oily, and I HAD to use deodorant with dove or i would evacuate rooms, and I didnt have to do that with this soap. On top of that the natural exfloiants ((activated charcoal, sand, tree bark, walnut shells, etc.) are so much better on your drains, and skin, as long as your skin isnt too sensitive, because they can be pretty abrasive (Pine tar is the worst on that front). All of the soaps performed similarly, as far as skin feel, moisturizing, and scent longevity is concerned. Pine Tar fell behind in one area, it is being used up so much faster, I swear im losing 2-5% of the bar each time I shower, it is VERY noticeable, which is a shame because it is my favorite skin feel, exfoliate, and scent!
Scent wise, they are all very nice, very mild, I certainly have my preferances, and which ones I dont think id buy again (though it might be cheapest to just keep buying this pack? Ill do more research) My personal ranking for scent is as follows: Pine Tar, a very earth scent with a hint of freshness from the pine. Bay Rum, smells spicy, makes me think of the beach. Cool Fresh Aloe, the most “Soap” smelling of the 5, just a good standard scent. Gold Moss, this one makes me think of the beach as well, but it just is missing something compared to Bay Rum, I cant place it, but I didnt like it as much. Cedar citrus, this one just didnt impress, its scent was bland, and when stacked up against the others just fell flat.
Skin Feel: Pine tar, Cool Fresh Aloe, Gold Moss, Bay Rum, and lastly Cedar Citrus.
Life: All of them are holding up equally, except pine tar, in the 2 weeks of use, pine tar is probably 15% smaller than all the others. Now this might be because its my favorite, but I dont feel I scrubbed/lathered any more with pine tar than I did any of the others so IDK.
In summery, I do NOT want to go back to other soaps, at all! This soap is fantastic (Even poor Cedar Citrus) and makes my skin feel great, soft, and clean. They all feel a bit soap scummy, but that is gone by the time im dry. They all smell really good (Except Cedar Citrus), and they all seem to have a long shelf life (Except Pine Tar)
I was very skeptical of the price point…why purchase one bar of soap when I can have 32 oz’s of my trusted body wash that i’ve been using for 16 years. Then I thought to myself, “i’ve been using the same body wash for 16 years?” One morning after i’ve showered with my body wash I became disgusted with the scent. I no longer want to smell like a teenager, and here come the ads of Dr. Sasquatch on my Instagram feed. So i gave it a try, and the first product i tried was the Cedar Citrus scent. After day one of use, I instantly became a fan. The scent alone is quite therapeutic, I felt very clean, and most importantly I didn’t smell like a pubescent awkwardly shy freshman.
I was very disappointed that my bar of soap was gone within a week in a half after reading reviews of how to carefully store the soap when not in use; however, I will never use liquid soap on my body ever again. My skin feels rejuvenated after using this product. I then bought a 5 pack of in which I am writing a review about. Once done with all 5 I will write a follow up review of which scent made the biggest impression. So far Pine Tar, the flagship scent, has been great.
THANK YOU DR. SASQUATCH FOR EXISTING!!! YOU HAVE MADE ME A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!
The pack I bought was a 6 pack which they no longer have. Current one is 5 and is missing the fresh falls. Seen many reviews that said the soap didn’t have a long life. My shower has a soap saver if you don’t have 1 get one for these. I got mine in March 18 2022 and I have 1 bar left and 30% of the pine tar exfoliating bar left. I used exfoliating bar daily on certain body parts and once a week on whole body. I’ve cut my last bar into 12 cubes and are lasting a very long time, I would suggest cutting into 9 as 12 was too small but wokrs.I would also put the soaps that aren’t being used yet inside zip lock backs to save scent. The scents smell good but aren’t over powering. They could use a little more. My favorite ended up being Bay Rum. My wife loves the soap for me and noticed a big difference in the feeling of my skin.
The most expensive soap you probably could buy. Lol but you know what and lathers up really nice in the shower and makes you smell great. If you want to spend a few extra dollars and get a good soap this is it
Hello it is a really nice feeling to steep out the shower knowing you smell great and your skin feels great. Makes the start of the day that much more enjoyable. I will be getting more of this brand soap and enjoying it every day . I have yet to decide on a smell i like more yet. The woodsy smell is what i tend to like the best so far just smells more natural makes the bathroom smell better and makes you feel more refreshed after a shower. I just wish i would have found this sooner. By far the best manly soap i have used to date. Its really nice not haven the slick filmy soap feel left on your body after rinsing off. Still need to try the shampoo out yet . Thats next on the list to try . Hope this helps someone out I sure enjoy this soap.
This soap is awesome.
Except the pine tar. That will turn your shower/tub black… but it’s easy to clean off.
Otherwise… this soap is awesome.
It feels good, it cleans extremely effectively, and smells great.
I thought it was just “good” soap until I got in the shower after working on an engine for a few hours, with that wonderful black grease and grime all over my hands and arms. This magically erased it…. which is HUGE if you have ever tried to wash car grease off!!! It even got the stuff under my fingernails with ease! That alone made this soap go from “good” to “AMAZING”. It works better than Fast Orange or Dawn for removing grease from your hands, arms, and/or face.
Dr. Squatch, you’ve got my business.
Now to try your shampoo and conditioner!!!
I succumbed to Dr Squatch’s marketing but I am glad I did! For years I had liked how fancy soap looks: it might be swirly like marble, or slightly translucent like a stone on the shore, or it was a small translucent brick worn by some unknowable usage. And now, due to Dr Squatch, I iike the smell of soap too. No more roses and lavender. I love the Pine tar. I love its robust smell. The pine tar soap is coal black and the first time using it, I put the soap under water, drew lines on my body like I was to celebrating some earthen god, and then ran down stairs and chased my girlfriend around the dining room table. I love this stuff!
My boyfriend BEGGED me to get this for him for valentine’s day. I’ve heard of this product, and was iffy due to the price. 5 soaps for almost $50?! That’s like $10 a bar! And he has extremely sensitive skin and I was worried it’d just dry his skin out like everything else he’s tried. But I took the chance and got it for him. He was like a little kid on Christmas when I gave it to him! He jumped right into the shower with the Pine Tar one. And when he came out, I was in shock. His skin was smooth, soft and he smelled amazing. This product has completely surprised me in the best way possible. And he’s told me that the 5 bars will last him quite a while, so the price was worth it in the end. He’s said he gives this 5 stars and after seeing the aftermath, I agree. I’ll definitely be getting him these from now on when it comes to the other holidays!
Squatch soaps smell wonderful and leave my skin feeling clean, unlike the liquid soaps I was using there’s no “film” left behind and once you rinse off you can feel that the oils from your day are totally gone. It’s convenient for my business trips and each bar probably last me about two weeks of showers. My only gripe would be the small amount of soap I loose when the bar gets too small and crumbles but that’s a quality of all bar soaps. Getting a bundle like this is economical for me, considering the cost and how long they last me, it’s probably the same if not cheaper than a quality, natural, body wash
