The air tag is not charged by the keychain. It is simply to hold and protect the air tag so it can be attached to whatever you want.

The key ring is made of metal. I wouldn’t recommend this key tag though, the leather is not good quality. I ended up returning it and buying a hard plastic twist lock case it’s much more sturdy.

The hole is sized for the shiny side of the airtag with the apple logo, not the white side.Only one side of the airtag is exposed.

I bought 4 air tags, 2 for me & 2 for my Wife. I was a little worried about loosing them & was about to purchase 4 of the apple key chains but I believe they were almost as expensive as the air tags themselves!!

I was worried that buying a cheaper air tag key chain may lead to loosing the air tag but I bought this much cheaper one anyway and while they aren’t $30.00 leather key chains they do hold the air tags in place . I work hard & with these in my pants pocket and my other one in a backpack all day they have never come loose or fallen out of the key chain. I would recommend these for a much cheaper alternative to Apple.

I just got these two weeks ago, but they’re much higher quality than the price lets on. I expected loose threads, misaligned stiching and low quality rings and onglets. Everything beat my expectations and what I got was more like what I would expect to pay Apple $30 for.

The metal ring that you use to attach this to your keyring has a little release when you push in on it which makes it easy to swap it from one keyring to another. But when I have my keys in my hand, I fidget with this spring loaded latch and I would have expected to have broken it from playing with it so much. Also, I would have expected the chrome ring to just be a finish for a rougher ring underneath, but the finish has proved to either be high quality or actually part of the metal.

I’d definitely come back to this seller / manufacturer for additional products in the future.

First off, I am truly surprised by the quality of these for the price point. They may not be genuine leather but they are constructed very well.

I bought a 4 pack of AirTags for Christmas gifts but kept 2 of them for myself. So when I found this 4 pack of AirTag keychains it was PERFECT!

Pros:
-Packaged very well. Each holder had a piece of foam inside to keep its structure during shipment

-Color variety is great! Gives you the option to either match your outfit for the day or your favorite color.

-Keychain is good quality and I haven’t had a problem with it coming open or undone.

-GREAT price point

Recently bought AirTags and need to connect them to my keys so I bought these since they came in a variety of colors and seemed to have good reviews at a reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. The colors let you add some personalization, the leather is soft but sturdy, and the included key ring has an easy to use clasp. If I buy more AirTags I will buy more of these keychains to hold them.

Sometimes the snap un snaps – but I think more because I play with it a lot – but I have noticed it comes undone out of my pocket.

The keyring has lost another ring on it a time or two as the ring is more of a carabiner design with not a powerful spring.

But never has caused a huge problem.

If your device is on a plane or car, it will not give you accurate locations at all times. However, if you are within a close range of it, then you will see it and can track it quickly. I still love it due to I can still determine approximately where it’s location when several feet away from my current location.

These seem to be a good value. Well stitched and colors are nice. Carabiner style clips make them easy to use. Price was great. Have not used long so I’ll have to see how they hold up over time. Tags feel very secure in the case.

Even that I tend to lose things I bought the AirTags. These mini cases really are durable and perfect for my needs. I love them and will buy them again. A nice quality and a little heavy so it’s not easily lost.
