I don’t know the answer as I just use this remote with my Visio Smart TV. This remote works for Prime Video and other apps I have on my TV. Havenot needed to use Firestick.

Yes. If you hit menu on remote it will take u to settings. There is option for timer. Hit timer then it’ll let u choose how long to set the sleep mode

This is a better version of the remote that came with my Vizio Smartcast tv which is now 5 years old. My cable serviceman told me i should look on Amazon at the new remotes, because mine was worn and dated. It stopped working a month later.

I found this online and i’m so happy with it. It is larger, has a better finish on the case, much improvement in the button layout and a better battery slot with a door instead of the whole back of the remote case having to be removed to change the batteries. The buttons have a better click too.

I bought this remote because it has a 40′ range and the original remote for my M series had like a 5′ range at most and my last two living Rooms were about 20′ got the remote today no batteries but threw some in pointed it at the tv and it works great 10/10 on range this has more of a matt finish very durable and buttons feel solid.

I’ve had a Vizio TV for over 2 years and basically since day one I’ve had issues with the remote it came with. Didn’t respond no matter where I was in the room, or responded slowly. I finally gave it and bought this remote. Just popped new batteries in it and it was good to go. Works freaking perfectly! No matter how close or how far, it responds instantly. I’m mad I waited so long to order a new one.

Just added batteries and it worked right out of the box. Controls both my vizio tv and vizio sound bar and appears much nicer than the remote that came with my TV. Very happy with this purchase!

Works a lot better than the flimsy control it came with. The original has a full back for the batteries so dropping it caused it to fall apart. This one has a slim opening that actually locks in place. The buttons are bigger which I like and I’d like to say better laid out. Works better at angles where the original did not and I don’t have to keep mashing the same button over and over to get it to do something.

The remote I got with my TV stopped working almost immediately and I bought a replacement that was also garbage for around half the price of this one (what did I expect honestly?) but this one is fantastic! I’ve had zero issues, and the buttons and overall weight and quality of the remote is awesome! No issues, would definitely recommend 😊

I usually purchase this remote for all tv’s in my home. However, I can say the remote’s extended life is kind of short. We have them for maybe 6mths to a year and the remote just starts to dysfunction. It will all of a sudden stop functioning on certain tv’s . So I just replace the remote and keep going.

My kids lost the original remote for our Vizio Smart TV. I took a chance on this remote and I didn’t even have to do anything to set it up and it works better than the original. We have found the original and I still prefer this one.
