Facts About FOVAL 200W Car Power Inverter DC 12V to 110V AC Converter with 4 USB Ports Charger
These units are rated on total wattage output. Therefore your two load devices (one on each 120V receptacle) must total no more than 200W. And, I would suggest not pushing something like this to it’s rated limit. Buy about 50% more rating than you need.
Yes, it is the modified, and I think it will work great for the CPAP machines
Yep sure can! As you can see it has both USB and ACDC ports….I’ve done everything from phones, iPads and laptops while traveling.
Not from your dashboard but yes from your center console. "Reaching it" is really all about how long someone’s device power cord or USB is. Shouldn’t be a problem for you. Not sure of the actual length of the cord but I’m guessing maybe…18 inches.
It is a modified sine wave inverter. As of this writing, a true sine wave inverter will always cost significantly more than this unit.
It buzzes but it isn’t that loud. More of a quiet hummmm.
Wall outlet but only for ciggeret lighter fir car
I had problems with the charger and my laptop, and returned the item. Could have been that I just had a bad unit.
as long as the car is running it shouldn’t
Yes it work for me
Maybe 2 feet, if that.
Claro. Siempre y cuando tenga la entrada en la exposición de tu bluetooth. Saludos
Unfortunately, it does not. Only USB. You can always purchase an adaptor if need be, or use the block for the wall outlet portion.
NUNCA E INTENTADO LO SIENTO
As long as your devices don’t exceed 200watts total..To be honest I would run tops 100w maybe 150w…Just look at your device and total up watts…simple…I see it has over under load protection car protection and one other that eludes me…
Info About FOVAL 200W Car Power Inverter DC 12V to 110V AC Converter with 4 USB Ports Charger (Reviews From Amazon)
What I like about this Inverter with USB is that 1) The USB ports are all together, not some on the side, some on the face, etc. 2) The 2 A/C Inverter Sockets are only powered when the on/off switch is engaged, so if only using USB, the inverter portion os OFF. 3) The 4 USB ports are all 2.4v so that can deliver maximum power.
As an Uber/Lyft driver I wanted to provide all the necessary options for my passengers. Although my vehicle has 2 builtin USB ports for the back seat, if I have 3 people, or perhaps one person with multiple devices, I wanted to provide as many options as possible. So a person/people could be charging a couple phones and a couple tablets via USB, and still plug their laptops in via the A/C outlets.
This is a very well made device, I am impressed with the quality. I have it plugged into a power port inside my console.
I mounted with with some Command Velcro Strips so if necessary I can remove and reinstall easily.
Love this little guy! I’s much smaller and the case is so much nicer than my old one (sharp metal ridges that I ripped up my hand with on numerous occasions). It’s so nice that this will actively charge 2 iPhone’s at once. I use this as a traveling NP and need to charge my laptop and phone due to high use. This has made my life so much easier and more compact. i especially like that it comes with a cord keeper, it’s the little things that make me happy. The case does get warm during use, but not dangerously so that there is fear of fire, melting or burns. Highly suggest for travel that requires power!
I bought this through my own research of like products and was not offered anything in return for my review.
I’ve been very pleased by this charger/inverter. I use this 99% to simply charge my phone via usb cable, but the ability to charge devices like my laptop and other electronics is fantastic.
The usb port for my car charges my phone in a pinch, but it is miles behind how quickly the Foval charges my device. The ability to also charge multiple devices at once is a great convenience when driving around with others.
The size is also wonderful. It is sleek and compact enough to tuck between my center console and the driver’s seat and barely notice it at all. There is no noticeable noise from the inverter and I haven’t found it to overheat at all. I’ll be testing that out come a California summer.
I’m very satisfied with the Foval inverter and highly recommend the purchase.
Works great. Plugged it into my ATV plug and blew up my air mattress no problem. Also charges the devices good. Love this product.
After searching every inch of my new (used) car, I was shocked to find that there was no 110/120 outlet. I often work on my laptop on long trips, so a standard outlet in the car isn’t a matter of convenience or luxury. This adapter happened to pop up in a lightening deal around the same time, so I grabbed it at a great price. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how lightweight and compact it is. I was able to tuck it away in the center console of the car for easy access when necessary, and out of sight/out of the way when it’s not in use. Great buy and glad I have that base covered.
Purchased this to prepare for a family road trip to San Diego. Mounted this with velcro behind the middle console of my wife’s Sedona. Tested great at charging my daughter’s Chromebook and my Galaxy S8 via USB at the same time. Will update feedback after our road trip.
I’m a photographer and I travel a LOT! Often times my husband drives with me and I get lots of hours in the car to edit! Unfortunately my editing software sucks my computer battery dry, so this has been SO helpful! And it charges quickly! I initially bought it for a shoot with Christmas lights in the car and when I first turned it on (3 strings of lights connected) it didn’t turn on instantly and my heart stopped but after a couple seconds they slowly glowed to life! It worked wonders! Great investment!
Fan is Noticeably quieter than our 200W Bestek. For now, I am in heaven. This fits perfectly in 2 crucial ways inside our Model Y’s center console: 1) the plug itself is streamlined and has no bulbous end and is also short enough to add up to the armrest being allowed to close without being an obstacle & the width of the inverter fits great too in the console’s interior with an inch or so to spare.
When the inverter is off, yet plugged in, this means the usb ports can still be used just fine. Quirky though that each port is apparently 2.4 amps yet a max of 6.2 amps is supported, I don’t get that math as that isn’t even 3 of the 4 ports being used at once.
When the inverter is turned on it has an unobtrusive LED line light up to red while initializing then 1 second later it goes to blue for normal status. The fan for me immediately kicked on but wasn’t at a level that I found a nuisance at all. Once road noise or music occurs, you won’t hear it at all.
I plugged in just a Dell 65W laptop so far and tried both of the inverter’s outlets and it worked like a charm. Keeping my fingers crossed things still stay rosy down the road…
This device is perfect for anyone who wants to charge devices that do not use a USB. I do a lot of work on the road with photography and needed a way to charge my computer and camera battery while not losing valuable driving time and this was the perfect solution. The charging speed is comparable to a standard house outlet even with my computer, camera and phone plugged in! The cord is a great length so it can be movable around my front seat. However, it does get warm as do many things using that amount of electricity so I would recommend keeping it on the floor or cup holder. I love the on and off switch so if it does feel too warm I wan turn it off without unplugging anything.
I bought this over 20 months ago. I got it so I could have Christmas lights on my car. I ended up using the lights on the inside. I figure why let some punks steal the bulbs and smash them if I’m parked in a parking lot. It works great too. I can use the old 1950’s larger size C-9 bulbs that blink, I have these cool plastic stars you put with each bulb, and really adds to the look, plus they’re brighter. I also added a 4’x4′ mesh of mini lights, the kind made for quickly covering a yard bush, I hung it from the car’s overhear and it hangs behind me. A wall of colored lights. Very cool and perfectly festive. I hope people read this and pick up on the idea of decorating their own car. I’d love to see it catch on. Its sure spread on houses decorated with lights, why not cars too!!!
