It is heavy enough to not slip around dash. I really am very satisfied with it.

In my vehicle no. I have an SUV and it sits low to the dash.
Hi there, The dimensions are about 7.48 * 5.51 * 1.96 inches. Max. open angle is about 80 degree.
Please note: it may struggle a little when first put the GPS in the clamp due to the strong spring, but this is to make sure the device stays securely in place. 🙂
The mount is rigid; does not conform. I believe it works best with "standard" cars rather than vans or SUV’s because of the elevated curves of those dashboards. I have a new CRV and have wedged it between the curves closer to the steering wheel and it works, but is not the most ideal.
Yes I think it should, it also holds cellphones It holds alot of different sizes
I don’t know as I am not familiar with the 276cx. sorry
Not sure what the dimensions of the 2505 are but I use it for the RV660 and it works fine. RV660 is 6.6"W x 3.7"H x 0.76"D (16.8 x 9.4 x 1.9 cm)
yes
I have a Honda Pilot and it seems to stay put. I also had a suction cup that attached to the windshield…this is much better.
Did you ever find out the answer? I’m looking to buy this for my Garmin drivesmart 61 as well
Well I don’t have that kind of GPS but if it can tale the Tomtom XL I will presume it will be able to take that.
I actually returned it – the clamp would not hold the gps – kept falling flat.
My Garmin is a little over 4" top to bottom and it fits, but barely.
I think it would it holds a lot of different sizes We like it real well we have one in my car and that 1 in our truck

I have used this for 2 years. It holds my 5″ TomTom perfectly. I drive a 2500HD 4×4 and I have never had it move. Some of the reviews say that theirs moves around, well I drive around construction sites as well as roll down the highway, sometimes very fast, and it has always stayed in place. I am very happy with this. I never move my TomTom. The original mount would fall off the windshield on hot sunny days.
Just what one needs to keep a clear view of the road ahead and to obviate the vacuum holding your GPS to a windshield from failing and dropping the GPS in traffic and/or repeatedly. Easy to move so passengers can manage changing destination in traffic.
Recommend waiting a while anyway, maybe forever, from actually sticking it to one spot on the dash or console. You will want to change it from time to time and take it with you to another vehicle occasionally anyway.
I’ve used this to hold my iPhone 6 and my Garmin. It holds both securely. The mount does slide a BIT, but usually that means I need to wash the sticky area on the bottom to remove the dust. I take it with me when I fly and rent a car; it is guaranteed to elicit further security screening. To keep TSA out of your luggage and carry-on bag, I suggest you carry it on and put it in a screening bin by itself. They can’t see "through" it, so it always gets swabbed.
My first Garmin came with a weighted mount that sat nicely on the dash of my Taurus wagon. But when I upgraded to a newer model, it came with a suction mount that had to be stuck to the windshield, as have all the mounts I’ve used since. Never really liked them and could never position them just where I wanted them without obscuring a little of the view.
This APPS2Car mount does just what I want it to. It sits far enough forward on the dash of a minivan that it does not block my view, and at night the lid prevents the screen from reflecting on the windshield, something I don’t like one bit when I am driving. The mount has another virtue. You can stow the Garmin in it when you are not using it, close it up, set it on the floor of the car, and no one will realize what is in it.
I recommend this mount to anyone who dislikes sticking suction cups to their windshield that block their line of sight.
I wanted a holder for my GPS that wouldn’t require me to block an a/c vent, so I opted for this one. It arrived promptly and was easy to figure out – it works like a giant clothes pin, and the GPS sits securely in the ridged "mouth". It’s weighted with a non-slip bottom that’s about the size of my open hand, so it doesn’t slip once it’s placed on the dash. There’s also a small, peel-and-stick pad on the bottom that will add to the "stick", but I didn’t want to use that. I’d rather have the option of taking the GPS off the dash regularly when it’s not being used, and not leaving some kind of sticky glue residue. It’s just what I needed, since the windshield suction cup on my old GPS no longer adhered well to the windshield.
Got a new car with no place for my Garmin. (I don’t use my cell phone for GPS because it seems too small for me and you have to use data the whole time.) Anyway, in the past I’ve tried several GPS holders that all had problems, IMHO. This one is great. The clam shell just clamps on to the device and it has sort of a bean bag base PLUS a sticky tape section that holds the GPS right where I need it. Looks like it’s part of the car. I would just check to make sure your device’s outlet on the back is high enough that it doesn’t get in the way of the bottom edge of the holder. (I think another reviewer said she had that problem.) And you need a deep enough dashboard. But basically, I think this is a great GPS holder.
I love this product. It works great in my 2016 Dodge. The weight and ease of placing my GPS product in this bean bag unit is great. It covers very little space on my dash, so not a problem in blocking my veiw. I got a second one for my truck, a 99 F150.
Excellent portable device! Used it on a recent trip with a rental car…put cellphone in it & used mapping. Stayed stable on dash, and not moved at all, even in hard corners. Then was easy to put behind the seat, while at destinations. Fit easily in travel bag on the plane, and no TSA spooking, as thought this odd shaped device might raise an alert! Lol. So, now in either of our cars, as needed for local trips. Will always be the go to device for distant trips in the future. Highly reco this device…=10/10.
It performs as advertised. Someone posted a review that said this would fly off the dash taking a 2mph turn. That’s completely untrue. I tested this on steep hills and turns. This GPS holder does not move at all on the dash, and I didn’t even use the adhesive mount on the bottom of the unit. I use only the anti slip material that holds the bean bag stuff. This holder won’t even slide on a smooth granite countertop.
Reading the reviews, there was one that said it wouldn’t stay on the dash and they threw it away. So I was concerned that would be an issue. It stays put. I can only assume that person drove way too erratically. Even if they failed to remove the protective plastic from the gel thing, I doubt it would fly all over the place as they said.
I will say that the clamp is pretty stiff. It takes two hands for me to pry it open. But, I wouldn’t have it any other way. It holds my phone tight even with my charger plugged into it. I have one of those large wallets on the back of my phone and this one accommodates that very well. Other phone holders have not. This was the phone holder I needed.
