Facts About iMBAPrice 50 Feet Long Telephone Extension Cord Phone Cable Line Wire – White
I received a rj-11; 2 conductor. Works great with phone and fax.
No. Cat 5 is Category 5 UTP cable, typically used for Ethernet with a 8P8C (RJ45) plug. This is standard telephone cord with RJ-11/RJ-14 connectors for use with landline telephones, fax machines, dial-up modems, etc.
No, This is 4 pin… use for standard 2 line phone.
You can google it, but I believe any phone cord will work for a fax machine…so yes it will…but bobble check that
It’s 4 pin connector.
This is a telephone extension. If you are using dsl, it will connect to a dsl modem. It is not for a cable modem. For a cable modem you need cat 5 or cat 6 cable.
Yes you can use it to upgrade your old telephone line. That is what i am using it for and have no problems.

I successfully cut it and installed modular jacks on wires made to length. If it were flexed many times at a soldered point it would break off easily I would suggest to you rather than solder use a female RJ-**** socket either in-line or pc board mounted so you may make connections easier. if wire goes bad throw it away plug in a new one. tools to cut crimp and make modular cords are dirt cheap will make your task much simpler.
Sorry don’t want to risk answering question.
Models use Ethernet cables not phone. They are different
Yes, it will hook up to the modem, but as far as Speed is concerned, I don’t know. I use mine for a fax machine. I would contact the seller or inquire with your ISP. I’m sorry I wasn’t more help. Good luck!
I don’t believe so. This is a RJ11 cord. The one that typically plugs into the handset to the base is a RJ9 or RJ22 which is a bit smaller and might have different contact points because the plug is smaller.
Hi, No this not water resistant cable only u can run inside the pvc trunks.
Thanks A
Yes. We purchased the 100′ length to bypass our internal house phone wiring to our DSL modem which the CenturyLink tech said was throwing 1000’s of error messages a day when he tested our system. This would work if you have a dsl modem but not a modem that requires a cat-5 connection.
Info About iMBAPrice 50 Feet Long Telephone Extension Cord Phone Cable Line Wire – White (Reviews From Amazon)
I purchased the 50 ft. white extension cord.
I didn’t use this cord for a landline, I used it to connect my internet modem. I placed the modem across the room and I didn’t want cables running across the floor so this was the next best thing. The flat cable flushes really well to the wall and you can line it up perfectly to the trim. I used cable clips to keep it in place, around the baseboard, up and down the door frame. The only thing the cable doesn’t do is bend well at corners, but you don’t want it to crease in case of damage so it’s a good thing overall.
I am one of a few folks in my neighborhood that still have a landline, but for my work it is essential to make sure I have a reliable phone connection. The issue I was running into at times is easily moving my landline around the house.
This telephone cord takes care of that issue and gives me the length I need. Great quality and value.
Was possible again, but now have to connect phone line up by running long phone cord connected with female splitter then running cords along the hallway to where the phone sits at desk.
My cord came on time, work’s GREAT, REALLY LOOOONG!!! longer then I excepted BUT I’m not good with determining length for these lol other then that it’s PERFECT now if I want to I could carry my phone ALL over the house lol 🙂
Century Link said my problems were internal to my house wiring and they were right. I ran this to bypass the internal wiring and ran it directly from connection box in the garage to my modem. My problem with frequent dropped service completely went away. Speed did not improve. It is still pathetic at 3 to 7 Mbs but this wire did its job.
We had an issue running a cord from an existing phone jack to a pacemaker monitor that sent information to the cardiologist. This long cord functions beautifully. We were able to hide the cord and staple it down to prevent falls. Perfect!
Purchased to run fax to magic jack phone from one side of the room to the other. Plenty of cord to do so
My hubby said he is very pleased with the 50 foot long telephone extension cord. He has not started his project yet but this cord is just exactly what he was expecting for the job. Arrived in tact, well packaged and arrived much sooner than expected. He highly recommends this product…..
It worked for what I needed. The phone jack was on the opposite side of the room from where my phone system was so it was perfect for extending the wire clear across the room.
I like the fact that is 100 feet which means that I didn’t have to call the cable company to move the router and rewire every thing since I changed rooms.
