iOS 17.0.2
Apple has released iOS 17.0.2 build number 21A351 for the iPhone XS and later, after build number 21A350 was only available on the new iPhone 15 and 15 Pro Series. According to the release notes, it brings bug fixes and security patches!

iOS 17.0.2 Battery Drain
As usual with new iOS generations, battery life tends to be a general issue! The new OS is not fully fine tuned and thus not too battery friendly.
iOS 17 makes no difference and we’ve seen lots of reports of excessive battery drain across all the range of compatible iPhone models.

Identical to build 21A350 a single fix is listed in the update log:
- 1. Data transfer from another iPhone not working during setup has been addressed and users should be able to import data from an older iPhone without any problems!

iOS 17.0.2 Download
As usual, this update is available over-the-air and / or wired (with the help of a computer and Finder- on Mac / iTunes – on Windows:
- 1. Open Settings -> General -> Software Update on an iPhone XS or later.
- 2. iOS 17.0.2 should show up on the Software Update screen.
- 3. Tap Update Now!
- 4. Agree with ToS, input Passcode and be patient until the new software is requested, downloaded, prepared, verified and installed on your device!
