The Allworx phone will auto-answer when removing the headset from the charger, or pressing the big "answer" button in the middle of the headset, as well as hang up when pressing the button or returning the headset to the charger. They can remain "off-hook" with no sound in your ear, until you answer an incoming call/line on the handset or in the Interact App. It’s a great headset for receptionist and heavy call use. (We’ve used many of these in my office since 2015. I’m replacing one at 5 years old, due to reduced 4-5 hour battery life and the headset falling off of the ear-hook adapter. It’s the HQ reception headset with mostly continuous daily business-hours use for almost 5 years straight.)
Hello, This headset comes with an over the ear earpiece and a headband (monaural) 🙂
Yes it is compatible, but you will also need to purchase Jabra Link 14201-20 EHS Adapter separate for it to work. Each phone uses a different hookswitch.
I use it with my VVX 400 and it works great. Only difference between VVX 400 and 410 is the 410 has a Gb passthru – so nothing that would affect the headset.
Atcom would be your best resource. Our environment is proprietary. One Model.
headset connects wirelessly to base, base connects via phone line to a desk phone, which is the only wired connection.
I like to mono version (the one I have is mono 😊) for the fact I can hear the news low in background, dryer, microwave etc from the other room. Not to mention when kids like to play “guess what I’m dropping the bowling ball 🎳 on today” … just kidding but you get the jist. 😊

Good Morning, the lifter allows you to answer/end calls when away from your telephone. Without the lifter you’ll have to answer a call at the phone then you can walk and talk wire free up to 350 feet. Give us a call at 1-800-683-5715 for any further questions 🙂
Their is not dial option from the headsets. You would still need to dial on the phone the headset is connected to.
Hello, That really depends on the type of telephone you are using at home. A wireless headset may create RFI if used on a phone that does not have proper shielding. Please let me know what type of telephone you are thinking about using this on and I will do my best to help.
You need the 930 and not the 920
No. You must buy it separate. It is specific to brands/models of phones.
This is not a bluetooth headset. I believe you are looking for the Jabra 925BT. Sorry.
No. That is the pro 930 or 935 model.
Info About Jabra PRO 920 Mono Wireless Headset for Deskphone (Reviews From Amazon)
I bought this headset shortly after being sent home in March due to Covid. I was working as a call center rep at the time so I was on the phone almost constantly for 8+ hours each day. Being literally tied to a phone was driving me crazy and I couldn’t even count how many times I tripped on my headset cable. This wireless headset was a godsend. It took me no more than 10 minutes to set it up and it has worked wonderfully since. It has great sound quality, convenient volume and mute buttons on the earpiece. I would get complaints all the time about the background noise with my old headset, but the noise reduction on this headset is great. No complaints unless a dog barks or someone is right near me talking. The battery holds up all day. Ive since changed jobs so its no longer in constant use, but I usually leave it off the charger for my whole shift and never once has it gone dead. I just pop it back on the charger at night and I’m good to go! I highly recommend this headset. It is well worth the price for the wireless capabilities alone.
At first, when I plugged in the headset and started using it, clients were complaining that they could not hear me. They said I sounded like I was in a barrel. I contacted Amazon support as per instructions (useless btw). I tried every troubleshooting tip in the book and on the Jabra website. Nothing helped. Jabra support was very good once I got them on the phone. Very knowledgeable. Kudos to Jabra.
However, in the end, Amazon did send a replacement headset. Yay! The second one works perfectly. I am very happy with the headset quality and sound. Clients can hear me, I can hear them, and the battery allows me to do my job without worrying if the headset is going to die on me.
I was looking for a blue tooth headset, bought like 3 different ones and they either didn’t pair with my laptop or only had a range of several feet. This unit is really great! I can go pretty much anywhere in the house and even out to get my mail without losing signal. I really wish there was a way to hang up the phone remotely, but there isn’t. I knew that when I made the purchase, so it’s not a problem with the headset. I’d purchase this one again.
I bought this as part of a process to test out several headsets for use in our small call center. Unfortunately, contrary to another review, this IS NOT 100% compatible with the Grandstream 2160, or other grandstream phones. The headset portion works fine, but the hookswitch does not work and there is no way to make it work. This means that if you’re sitting at your desk and don’t mind pushing a button on the headset AND the phone in order to answer or disconnect, then all is good. But it simply does not support answering or ending remotely, and cannot. For this you need a Plantronics headset, and I suggest checking out a guide that headsetsdirect has on their site that is specific to Grandstream phones.
I ended up buying the Plantronics CS540 with their ADP-80 EHS cable. Works perfectly.
I am happy with this purchase as I work from home and as far as the meetings I’ve been in the sound clarity I understand is great and it allows me to free up my hands to move around the house and get tea/make breakfast will listen to my co-workers. Just be certain to match-up your phone with the Jabra you want. my phone is a Cortelco and although I have the RJ9 adapter the Jabra doesn’t integrate where I can answer or hangup calls with my particular phone. So before you go off buying this awesome device, do your homework and look at the phone integration options. But I really must stress this has been great addition to my home office.
I live on 5 acres and can wander all over the place with this thing when I’m on the phone, the range is phenomenal! The sound quality is fantastic. I’ve had 5 or 6 different headsets over the years and this is the first I don’t have a complaint about. The mute feature is also great as it beeps once in a while on mute to let you know if it is active and turns on and off instantly when you press it. It has a curved shape so you can find it without having to look at it.
Second one ordered for my boss. He is very happy with his first one and specifically wanted a second one for his home office. Functions well, has great range and is comfortable to wear. Some of the other executives in our office prefer this headset as well. Only con was that an adaptor was needed in order to pair his home office phone and the Jabroa Pro. Not really a big deal, but worth mentioning, check your connections when purchasing this headset so if you need it, you can order the adaptor at the same time!
I need to be on the phone a lot in my job, and since I’m a contractor, I knew that my request for a headset might go unanswered
I asked for these as my holiday gift. It’s great and works well. It’s also light enough that I find myself wearing it when I go elsewhere in the plant I work in.
Buy Jabra products. They’re worth every penny.
I had a Plantronics wireless headset which lasted for quite some time, but had its issues. I purchased this unit as a refurbished headset with new batteries and it works great! I use this headset every day for work and am typically on the phone for long periods of time for the duration of the day and the battery lasts the entire length of my workday (Usually 8 to 9 hours). The clarity is very good and can be adjusted to match your phone type. I use this on a VOIP Mitel phone and have had no issue at all. The noise suppression works well as they stated.
The only negative that I can find about this headset is that it is a little bulky and heavy on the headset itself, but that is mainly because I use the ear hook for this instead of the over the head set. I tried it with the over the head set and the size becomes less of an issue. This overall is not much of an issue in my opinion as the headset does not fall off or move around too much at all when using the ear hook as opposed to the over the head set.
I work about 8 hours on the phone. The headset is light, stays powered on all shift, volume is good and easy to adjust or mute. Setup was plugging in 2 cables and done. I can the headset of my head all shift with only the issue of the ear piece kind of suctions to my ear so small adjustment every so often but nothing serious. I can walk from my basement to the first floor and still be connected without issue.
