No it didn’t even work for my tv

I think so! It was a replacement for us but when you go into remotes under settings your device can be connected to several different things. I had to set this one up by my phone so it showed the one we lost, the phone, and had room to add more. Hope this helps! The remote has worked perfect so far.

I would recommend getting the exact one you need. It might pair up but not all features might not work. This is a 3rd party remote and works on my 3rd Gen Firestick.

I think you can. We used it as a replacement but I always had a remote and used my phone as well. Even with the old remote and my phone showing under remotes, there was room to add more. Remote has worked perfect!

This looks to be a 1:1 replacement for a FireStick / FireStick 4K. I bought 2 because my puppy seems to prefer remotes to his chew toys. Both worked flawlessly. I bought 2 more just in case. Price is perfect, they take AAA batteries, paired without a problem. Perfect!

had the older remote with no power or volume. this solved the issues of having two remotes on hand. Easy to setup and works like a champ. The materials seem a bit cheaper plastic than the original but so far so good. I think it should be a bit cheaper. I think it should be 10-15 bucks but what do I know. It worked and solved my problem and now I only need one remote and I didn’t have to buy a new fire tv stick.

My old remote gave up the goast after being dropped to many times by grands. I’m excited to get a new one. It was easy to link with my Firestik.

I used this for a 2 year old remote that stopped working. Fairly easy to set up.Just make sure to test the batteries,or just make sure they are new.If I hadn’t checked this new remote would not have worked. Oh and yes I tried new batteries on the old remote glad I did so I didn’t waste the money.

This is my replacement control, once I set it up, it worked great including the Alexa voice. My fire Stick is 5 years old and paired with this replacement control and especially for the value, it worked better than my old one.

Although the replacement remote works fine, wish it didn’t need to replace the original so soon. I’m very careful with my remotes so I question the quality. Looking online, I read many reports of this remote losing connection with the Firestick which is not always a simple fix to pair it. In the meantime, I switch to using the FireTV app on my phone. I also found the replacement remote switch input command no longer works to enable me to voice activate a switch back to cable. I’ve tried everything with no success and I see online that I’m not alone on this.

The original remote for our Amazon 4K Fire TV device has taken a vacation, probable sent away by our three year old. Bought this one until the other decides to return, and it synced up fine and works well.

Did not rate voice recognition, as it isn’t a feature we use on the TV.

I love this remote control, it was easy to pair with my firestick, once paired it assist you with setting up voice recognition and volume control…….. I especially love that I can turn my TV off and on with it………..

After easily setting it up which took several tries, it works well. Now I have a remote control on my side of the bed and my husband has his remote 9n his side. No more struggling to find where he put it. I know where it is at all times and that makes me happy.
