It’s not going to be completely straight. The most “straight” you might get is by only using only one of the back plugs to attach to your vent.

My Galaxy 9 with otterbox case fits ok , but … a little tight, perhaps that`s better. I think a note 10 won`t fit.

I don’t have a Blackberry but it fits my iphone 6 (which is 2 3/4" wide) just fine, so I’m guessing it would work for you…I’ve been happy with this simple holder.

I have a Samsung S9+ ,it is probably one of the larger phones out there.This holder works just fine with my phone,so Apple phones generally seem to be smaller so it should work even with your style of case. I have gone through several phone holders, most of them were too complex and added bulk, so at the slightest bump of the SUV the phone would crash to the ground creating a dangerous situation not to mention the risk of a phone break! Basically this design is simple, sturdy and minimal. The best part is the TWO prongs to hold onto the vents which the others were lacking. It stays on tight and its easy to put your phone in and out with just one hand while driving if needed.. thanks !

Best car mount I’ve used! My previous mount was an iOttie, but it was too much bulk for the cabin of my new car. I stray from magnetic vent mounts because I wirelessly charge my phone at home and work and taking the metal back off Everytime would be annoying. I found this mount while browsing and decided to give it a try. I was concerned about it’s size at first, but it fits my cars vents perfectly. I also didn’t thing it rotated because of the double mount design, but it actually does. It holds a very firm grip on my GS9+. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a non magnetic vent mount.

The holder is easy enough to press onto the vent slats on a BMW i3 and a Prius V. It holds tight and will not fall off. The mechanism to hold the phone is simple and only one hand is needed to insert the phone in the holder. It can hold the phone either horizontally or vertically and no acceleration, braking, or rough roads will dislodge it. The holder has a little space between it and the vents so air from the vents can pass around it. However, expect the phone to approach the temp of the air from the vents. I like that the holder is close to the vents because the closeness minimizes the strain on the vents created by the weight of the phone.

Granted I haven’t tried every one out there. But by count, there are nine different vent mounts in my pile of stuff. They all seem to hold a phone just fine. What they don’t do is hold on to the vent. These simply do.

At the moment I am using a Samsung S9. It holds the phone nicely with no slip of any kind, and it holds the vent blades. I can’t ask for anything else from a vent mount. This one is a winner and considerably less expensive than several others that either didn’t hold at all or lost their grip after a short while.

Because I use the wireless charger on my iPhone XS, the metal plate magnetic mount isn’t an option anymore.

Went through a few different phone holders but this is as close to a magnetic phone holder as you can get.

One hand operation to get the phone on and out of the spring loaded rubber grips.

The grips in the rear that hold on to the vents are also soft rubber materials. Prevents scratches or damage to the vents.

This is a great car clip if you don’t want to install anything permanent like a magnet. It fits both my phone (iphone x) and my mom’s phone (Iphone 6sPlus) with ease. It fits perfectly in my vent and swivels easily, it holds the phone snug without falling out and it’s easy to put the phone in/take it out even with one hand. I bought this to replace the five dollar vent clip I got at walmart where the rubber on the clip separated after 6 months. For only five dollars more, this product was a great buy.

Very sturdy and stable vent grippers on back. Will not fall off vent, even mounted in angle with one gripper 100% clinched on and the other about 50%. The spring holding phone is not a heavy spring, yet the design and choice of material somehow make the grip much stronger than expected. This is good for mounting phone with one hand. Holds my phone very well, but my phone is a thin phone (Pixel 2XL) with an ultrathin minimal case (similar to Peel), so your experience may vary. Feels much more premium than other vent phone mounts I’ve owned.

Literally the mailman just dropped this off and I went to the garage with phone in hand, now I’m writing this review. Easy to install, and it’s firm. The thing I love the most is the ability to slide the phone in and out easily. The problem with the magnetic holders is that (at least on mine) it eventually pulls the holders off the vent while removing your phone. Because you have to slide the holder to the right to put it in and take it out it ensures the holder won’t be removed. In addition to all that the fact it has to clips on the back just doubles down on the stability this holder. I so encourage you to purchase this before the price goes up and they realize they have something here. I’ll be looking at my wife’s car today and seeing if she can use this one as well.
