It’s often suggested that nursing moms drink plenty of water during the day to avoid excessive water retention. But, sometimes, a nursing mother just needs to lie down and rest, and that water, along with breast milk, can be a real asset for diaper changes. Lansinoh Stay Dry Disposable Nursing Pads are single-use, disposable pads, and they offer all the benefits of standard disposable diapers: they’re absorbent, they prevent leakage, and they help control the odor of urine and feces. And they can even be used during breastfeeding, too—making them perfect for moms who can’t or don’t want to (or can’t or don’t want to have to) pump breast milk. They are also hypoallergenic, with breathable side panels and back elastic, making them a comfortable choice for all nursing moms. Nursing can be one of the most rewarding parts of motherhood. And when you’re breastfeeding, the last thing you want to worry about is how often you’re leaking. Lansinoh’s new disposable nursing pads are designed to prevent leaks, even when it’s the first feeding of the day, the last feeding of the day, or in between. The Stay Dry Disposable Nursing Pads are made with DryMax, a breathable material that is designed to help absorb moisture and keep breast milk from soaking through.

Hi J. Thanks for your question. Our Disposable Nursing Pads are latex free.
Not sure if they are better but I LOVE THESE! I have used this brand with 2 different children and i went through a few different brands before i settled on these. I will always default to these nursing pads. They are VERY absorbent and discrete. Hope that helps!
It absorbs well! There’s no way to tell if it was mostly sweat or mostly milk but the absorbency is great

Lansinoh HPA is partially occlusive (unlike Vaseline, a hydrocarbon, which is completely occlusive) and allows for the exchange of air (respiration) and moisture (transpiration) so that the skin does not become over hydrated. The consistency of Lansinoh HPA Lanolin is part of its effectiveness. The skin of the areola is highly innervated and by coating the free nerve endings and placing them in a more normal environment, many mothers report instant pain relief.

Info About Lansinoh Stay Dry Disposable Nursing Pads for Breastfeeding, 100 Count (Reviews From Amazon)
I’ve purchased this item before in the “ultra soft” these ones are the “stay dry” with honeycomb lining! This product does exactly what it says, stops leaks and stays in place inside your bra pretty well! Unfortunately I have super sensitive nipples and realized that the texture of the honeycomb patterned lining irritated my skin and nipple! Once realized I had the wrong ones, I went to return and got a full refund no problem! I’m very impressed and I really do like their products, just note to self, if you have sensitive skin, get these nursing pads in the ultra soft!!
These are amazing! I’m a first-time mom and was given some of these from a friend. At first I didn’t think I would use them. Boy, was I wrong! Since my milk came in I have to wear them constantly. I wear a DDD, so even with large breasts these cover a lot of area, which is especially nice when sleeping as things move around a bit – even with a bra! (I quickly learned that I even needed to sleep in a bra with these, which is easier to keep in place). What I love is that they stay dry yet, as you can see from the pictures, still absorb a lot of liquid! I haven’t tried other brands, but am awfully glad I don’t need to shop around!!
I got these after trying to use reusable pads for a few weeks, but I just kept soaking through the reusable pads and leaking to my clothes in 4+ hour stretches between Feedings. These are 10x absorbent the reusables that I had because they contain sodium polyacrylate (which is also the polymer used in diapers to make then so absorbent and dry for baby’s bum). They are also extremely light weight, and it hardly feels like they are are there. They are in fact super dry even when soaked, so you do not have wet, sticky, sour milk nipples when using them. I was replacing reusables every 4-6 hours, but I can wear these 24+ hours. Note that there are 1 star reviews mentioning powder/ beads coming out from the pads- there is no reason to be alarmed, that is just the sodium polyacrylate beads that are totally safe on the skin and even safe to ingest, and it is nothing out of the ordinary that those beads are there (wouldn’t be so super absorbent without them!). If you open up a diaper, you would find them there, too! Just get them already!
I have used these with all four of my exclusively and extended breastfed babies (Just sharing this so you know it’s been long term use and leaking was def a concern), from my firstborn in 2008 to my youngest born 8/2019. I’ve tried other disposable pads and they’re OKAY, but the Lansinoh is just superior in comfort, adhesion, shape, and absorbency.
I really, REALLY tried to make the bamboo washable pads work and they move around so much I end up throwing them across the room in frustration. I have never had any issues with the Lansinoh EXCEPT I hate the packaging and all the little hrs of trash, but comparatively I still prefer it over the packaging of other disposable pads, and I have tried them ALL. No need to fall for the day/night gimmick of some of these newer nursing pads either. Just stick with these ones.
And just to note, I am a runner as well, and these pads don’t ball up, come loose, or shed even on my lengthier and sweatier runs.
I started off by using reusable pads but quickly realized that I would go through a lot of these a day and it’s must easier to just grab a new one whenever needed and not have to worry about washing. I wear these inside my bra 24/7 and have never leaked through them even when I wake up engorged in the morning. The pad may be soaked, but my bra and t shirt aren’t unlike the reusables!
Personally I don’t use the adhesive strips- I’ve found they stay in place quite well inside my bra without them. Each pad is individually wrapped which makes it convenient to store them in bags and drawers to have available whenever the need strikes. I’ve never experienced any sensitivity or leaking of the absorbent gel after a using these for a few months.
I used these for my first pregnancy and have been using again for my second; we’re currently six months in.
These are highly absorbent while still remaining dry-feeling for hours. I also love that they don’t leave any loose fibers on your skin that could irritate skin or become a nuisance for baby! They are also very slim, making them an easy fit for a wide variety of bras. Many women reading this are probably using nursing bras, but for working women who are pumping and still need some protection from leaks, these will likely be a good fit.
I can’t address their adhesiveness, since I typically open them and just put them where I want them. I’m also not aware of the options they have for different sizes.
I’ve tried other brands of breastpads and these are the only ones I ever use. They’re soft and super absorbent. Sometimes when I pull them off my bra, the adhesive sticks to my bra while I try to pull the rest of the pad off, so the pad comes apart a little. But maybe that’s if I’ve worn it too long or it’s too full. Despite that, I’ll never switch. Also, not a big fan of the giant box the 200 come in now instead of the two smaller boxes they came in– I get why but it’s harder to store them. I probably feel more strongly about the giant box than the fact that they can come apart. Neither complaints are worth deducting a star though, in my opinion.
I was so shocked once I received them and they had a blue line in them, I really liked the ones before they switched to this one that’s why I ordered them again I wasn’t expecting this. Hopefully I don’t break out because today is my first day using them and I have sensitive skin, I’ll give it a few and see how it works or affects me. I don’t like the fact you don’t know which one you would get, I love this brand though but if I order something I would like to get what I order. I’ll see how it goes then update my review. I don’t wanna leave a negative review because I really like this brand, but I will tell the truth if it’s not good product. It’ll save others a headache like me as well.
I have tried various brands and these are by far the most comfortable and absorbent. I have an oversupply so I fill these very quickly. During the night they are absorbent enough to where I don’t wake up with a wet shirt. They are also large enough to cover more than just the nipple which I like and the material isn’t itchy like other brands
I have tried Medela disposable pads and some reusable bamboo pads, and these are my favorite. They hold a lot, so when I’m out and don’t get the chance to change them, they don’t overfill. I can also wear them the whole night through, whereas the others that I tried overfilled quicker and the moisture felt like it was sitting on my breast, making it itchy and uncomfortable. I did not experience this with these pads, however, and they seem to hold the moisture away from the skin as long as I change them before they get too full, which takes about eight hours or more. The adhesion isn’t the greatest and could probably be stronger as they do come loose whenever I nurse, and I have to put it back into place when I put the bra back up, but this is not a big deal. I still rate these five stars and my favorite breast pads.
