I had to check the booklet myself. They say it’s a sheep 🐑
I bought this for my grandchildren and they love it. They like farm animals and really enjoyed playing with them and putting them in their little homes.
There are five barns, all different colors and there are five different animals. The animals are not assigned to specific barns, plus the animals have an ample size hole in the bottom to be used as a finger puppet.
I doubt it will be their favorite toy they always play with but it’s good for a solid 6 months

No strong smell noted. My little girl
Loves them. She was 14 months when she received them. She still loves them at 21 monthhs.

She lost interest at about 18 months, so we took it out of the rotation of toys. At that point she was just opening the barn roof to see which animal was inside, made their sound and discarded them. Of course we were doing the counting and the color recognition for her. We have just brought it back into the rotation because developmentally she can do more with it now. She will put the animal on her finger and use it as a puppet then put it back in the barn. This toy has so many great extensions with the puppet play, color recognition, counting and number recognition with the dots on the roofs, which animal is missing, put the * in the blue barn, etc. I feel it has a long use ahead.

This is an AMAZING learning tool that I highly recommend buying. I am a therapist for kids with autism. My materials get a lot of use from different kiddos, so I can attest from my experience that they are very durable and excellent quality. Many of my younger clients are barely starting to speak. This product has motivated them to make animal noises, label animals, 3-4 word mands, count numbers, label colors, request for more, point at the barn they want to open, ask for help to open and close the barns, and sing along to songs with me! There are so many fun and different ways to play with them to target different goals! The animals and barns are so cute! Definitely purchase this product!!
I recently ordered 3 new toys for my toddler (21 months old) and of the 3, this one is his favorite! He absolutely loves taking the animals out of their barns and then putting them back in. He names the animals as he takes them out and practices their sounds. I was really impressed with how durable the animals are. They are not made of flimsy cheap plastic and will definitely hold up to the abuse that a toddler boy can bring to a toy.
We’ve had this set for about a week and he continues to play with it almost every day and for a good length of time when he does. I’m very impressed!
I would definitely recommend this toy for toddlers.
This set seems very well made! The colors, the feel and design is even more adorable in person. I am impressed at the durable feel of the barn and animals. The barn roofs stay on well so animals stay stored inside. The colors are so bright and fun.
One of our favorite toys! Both my toddler and preschooler love this, and it definitely grows with your little one!
The pieces are colorful, sturdy and easy to clean! The farm animals are so cute, and can be used as finger puppets for imaginary play with little ones. My daughter loves to play silly games together and put the animals in and out of the barn. We’re learning early concepts like in/out and open/close, identifying animals and animal sounds.
It’s also great for teaching colors, counting and matching (roof to barn colors) and simple instructions like “put the horse in the red barn”.
My preschooler loves to play farm with the toys! We have so much fun with this set!
This toy is way better than I thought it would be. These will definitely last forever. They are made of such a strong material. I have no clue exactly what it is, but it’s like that super hard rubber. They don’t bend, they are hard through the whole animal and they have a little hollow bottom so babies can put the animal on their fingers! My 1 yr old loves these. She takes them out of their houses and puts them back in, she plays with them in the bathtub and the pool. The houses are made out of a strong plastic also. My 30 yr old brother stepped on one of the houses yesterday and it didn’t break. I definitely recommend these cute little toys.
I ordered this with few other things to have few toys our two youngest grandkids can play with on frequent visits. Now that the two youngest grands are mobile & with winter months upon us, we needed some things they can play with & hopefully hold their interest & leave the older ones toys to the older kiddos ( sounds good in theory, anyway). These barns are cute & both little ones can put the little animals on their fingers, which they are very pleased & proud of themselves. We talk about the animals & the sounds they make, but at jyst tyrned 1 & 15 mo, they just like being able to take the roif iff each barn & play with the animals for now. Both toddlers have already enjoyed these a lot since we received them. Highly recommend
I saw these on a montessori Facebook group page and needed something to nix up the toy rotation. I saved them for this morning when I needed an hour. And boy did they deliver. My 17 mo played with them all morning, opening and closing, playing with the animals, switching the animals. When we came back later, she picked right up again and began to play. I don’t know how long it’ll last, but they saved my morning!
Yes, the goat’s identity is still questionable at best. I wish it was a more recognizable animal. They could’ve done a sheep or rooster or chicken or just about anything that is more obvious than this goat. But it’s fine. The other animals are cute (I mean, the goat is cute but he just doesn’t look goat like really). The animals are actually finger puppets (big holes at the bottom for one adult finger or a few child fingers) and they’re a sturdy, hard plastic. Probably would hurt if a kid chucked it hard enough at a tender spot. Anyway, my daughter (13 months) is big into putting smaller things into bigger items, so this is perfect for her.
My daughter is almost 4 so I thought she might be too old for these. But she loves animals, finger puppets and putting small toys ‘into’ things – like inside large Easter eggs, for example. And she absolutely loves anything in fives. And Old Macdonald. And ducks. And counting. And organizing. So, I thought I’d give it a try, and wow. She loves these. Has been playing with them a lot since they arrived. Quality is superb. Farm ‘barn’ boxes are really solid too. Only thing I’d note is the animals are hard plastic, not soft or flexible like typical finger puppets. She doesn’t seem to mind, as she’s played animal ‘finger family’ (including ‘duck finger’) with them. I recommend.
During recent visits with grandchildren, ages 13 months and 2-1/2 years, each received one of these. The younger one liked opening the boxes and seeing what was inside, so we kept changing up. The older child LOVES all things related to farm animals, so we sang “Old McDonald,” talked about animal sounds and colors, etc.
In conclusion, the Peekaboo Learning Farm is a sturdy, interactive toy that is perfect for helping children develop fine motor skills, pattern recognition and counting. It’s also a great way for parents to introduce their little ones to farm life — and teach them about the animals, crops and insects that live on farms.
