It’s actually bot Tempered glass sandwiched to a layer of plastic. From the comments and the one I bought, there seems to be a wide variation in the color of the plastic layer. Mine was very blue and I removed after on a couple days.

slowly but surely you’ll see the virtual button areas start to wear. The Honda touch screens seem to be a little soft. This protector prevents that and enhances the appearance. Worth every penny.

stick tape on full surface of protector fully to make it strong enough to against shatter , … it can be removed with correct process,

Just like remove the cell phone screen protector,
if necessary , you can use your toothpick to help you.

UPDATE #3 – 3-year update:
STILL looks as good as the day I installed it. No lifting and still adhering well. Safe to say this is probably going to last as long as we own the car and probably beyond.

No issues so far after being left out in the heat. Glare is actually not that bad. Screen still legible even wearing polarized sunglasses.

If you are familiar with glass screen protectors on mobile devices or tablets, this item is no stranger to you. It’s simply a thin piece of glass that covers the entire face of the audio system. The hope is that you protect the precious screen from scratches and such. I have installed glass screen protectors on several devices but this is the first time applying one to a car screen. I used my tried and true techniques to install: Clean the screen up good, use tape along one edge (in this case, the top edge) to hold the screen protector in place after lining it up just right, give the screen one more good wiping to get dust off, pull off the backing, drop the screen protector on and hope for the best!

Some observations: #1 is dust, it’s impossible to get the screen dust free due to the installation being done in a car. I wiped as best as I could, but I also noticed some fingerprint oils were basically ‘burned’ in. Not even the alcohol wipe could get it off. #2 Remove the volume/power knob! It pulls right off. This aids in lining up the screen protector using my “tape” technique. Once you’ve got things lined up the way you want, pull off the backing and let it drop into place. This can’t be done with the knob installed.

As far as I can tell, the installation went well, just the usual bubbles that you need to push towards the edges to get the air out. I don’t even notice any major dust particles trapped. Time will tell how this will hold up to cold and heat. Also I’m a bit concerned this will cause more glare in the sun. Otherwise, screen sensitivity seems unchanged. It actually feels more like a tablet now with the smooth glass. As others have said, it looks good too! Installed on a new 2019 Honda CR-V EX-L

This screen protector when I first got it was amazing! So easy to install, love the suction cup that comes with it which really helps a lot to line it up with the radio and put the protector on without any bubbling at all. The screen protector immediately made my picture so much more crisp, clear and have brighter coloring. What I will say is I’ve noticed after having it on about a week is that as you (hopefully) can see in my two pictures is the screen protector starting to look bad coming from the underneath of it and I don’t blame the company or the screen protector I believe it is from using cleaners like what I use on my dash exc. which I have wiped my screen with before having a screen protector. I did use the one tiny alcohol wipe provided by the company to clean my screen with and I felt I cleaned it pretty good but after seeing the screen protector changing I learned that oils like what is in car care supplies/sprays basically soak into plastic which is what my radio screen is so after a few days of the protector on the screen the oils in the screen itself are making the protector look bad. Next time I will clean my screen many many times in hopes of getting those oils out of the plastic screen so that my next screen protector from this company stays bright, crisp and flawless as it was when I first put it on. I fully recommend this screen protector but if you are like myself and have ever wiped your screen down with the same towel you’ve shines your dash with I would fully advise you to wash and wipe down your screen many many times, let it dry and wipe it down again until you feel sure the oils could t possibly still be in the plastic of your screen. Other than that this product is amazing, cheap in price, well worth the money and will still be my number one go to for vehicle screen protectors in the future!

I only write reviews on a few products and only if it’s particularly good or bad because if it were me, I’d want to know. This screen protector is fantastic! It’s tempered glass and not the flimsy plastic film so first of all it goes on much more easily than any film. Just clean the infotainment screen well before you put it on. I usually skip the sticky pads and don’t get all the dust off and curse at myself after, and especially on a screen this large there are plenty of opportunities for dust to accumulate so use the sticky pads! Also, I found that the alcohol wipe leaves streaks and leaves dried liquid marks so I had to keep rewiping over and over with the little towel they give you to get all the marks off. But once that’s done, the screen goes on great. As they advertise, you just lay the protector over the screen and let it contact. Then it just kinda sucks onto the screen without you having to really push it on there. You can actually see it adhering. Touch responsiveness is great and no print marks! I was concerned about that because I’ve read reviews about greater appearance of fingerprints on the screen than in just the original screen but I don’t see that at all. Also out of all the other screen protectors for this car, this cost about half. Btw, my car is a 2019 CRV EX-L. Hope this helped.

My first one came damaged so the company replaced it at no charge. Awesome customer service. Overall this makes the car look way nicer and Im not scared Im going to scratch the screen like I did the console gauge covering with a microfiber cloth.

Install was very straightforward and you can usually push any bubbles out. I even misaligned it once and I was able to peel it off slowly and reposition it again.

I bought this in hopes that it would improve the lightly damaged factory screening my CRV. The previous owner may have had something on their fingers or was very aggressively touching the screen, causing spots on the screen. I didn’t really think this screen protector would do much but I was very pleasantly surprised. It completely eliminated being able to see the bad spots. It also improved the “feel” of the screen. I was so impressed, I bought another one for my Lincoln MKZ, and for that car it drastically reduced the fingerprinting on it’s screen. Great product.

Yes, this fit my 2021 Honda CR-V, EX-L edition. I am not sure if there is any difference for the other CR-V editions (LX, EX, or Touring), but I do not think there would be? Hope this helps any fellow 2021 CRV owners!

Our new CRV came from the dealer with the factory plastic screen protector still installed.
With the factory screen protector removed the screen still looked dull in a satin finish kind of way and is just a plastic screen.

Once we installed the new glass protector, it turned the display from a look of a pre-school toy look to a high end phone look. Cars should come this way.
In the package is an alcohol wipe, dust cloth, lint removing sticky pads. There is a good set of instructions also.
There is no change on touch sensitivity. Highly recommended.

It was extremely easy to install. Just clean the surface, test the alignment before peeling the protective film and apply from the bottom up. No bubbles, installed in less than a minute. Glossy, makes the screen look better, and in my case, it works better, it seems than the glossy surface is a little more sensitive than the original matte screen.
