Depends how far away from the mount it’s stretched and how big the phone. Also if the phone rests on something while it’s mounted. I have iPhone xr and it floats wobbles a little but not bad love the strong hold of the magnets

Yes, it would work amazing. But I do recommend purchasing a case that has the built-in magnetic disk for best stability and structure. The mounts that come with a disc to attach to the phone do not stay well and will peal off when removing the phone from the stand.

You may have to return it and explain parts were missing.

I have a S-20+ with a Otterbox case; I’m in doubt with all those items that the magnet would reach your phone.

I have the same model and when I pull the phone away from the magnetic mount the phone pulls away. You may need to lock the ball socket in place and lock the arm in place.

I used my holder with an iPhone 13 Pro with an Otterbox case on it. It holds really well! Bought two of these mounts back in 2019 and the only thing that failed was the black pad agains the dash. Ok, I JUST got this in the mail this morning, haven’t even had a coffee yet, but I’ve opened the box, and I must say, I am seriously impressed with not only the packaging, but the quality of the materials. I only gave 3 stars, because like I said, I haven’t even used it yet. BUT, rest assured, after I down my carnal crack from the Starbucks gods, I will return here, to give my epic review, of this epic phone holder. A very nice surprise this morning, completely makes up for the horrible day I experienced yesterday.
PART 2 – Yes this is a real good dash mount phone holder. And yes, I do claim to be an authority on these things, as living in Texas, the inside of my truck can reach around 200 F, (that’s 93C for the Europeans)in the heat with the windows up not running. So I always look for rugged and well constructed materials, in anything I plan on leaving in my truck during the day.
This device is made of good, solid, sturdy materials, and has a telescope function I didn’t even know I was going to be getting.
I already had the metal piece that goes inside my phone case, so I didn’t even look at that, but the magnet seems nice and strong, even without any kind of lip or ledge to aide the magnet in keeping the phone steady, the magnet alone on this thing snugly holds all the weight of my IPhone X, with the super duper, military spec, Pelican case and all its glory. Even over the moon crater landscape that are the streets of Abilene Texas.
I will return around the end of summer, to give another review on how well it holds up baking in my truck all summer long.
The last one literally exploded on my dash, was the best they sold at Best Buy.
The one before that, I bought being told it was THE BEST on the market, from a NAPA autoparts store, I remember the brand “Road and Driver” because I thought “well hell, if road and driver magazine has the balls to put their name on it, it must be good, I was wrong, it literally melted like a bad acid trip about 3 years ago during that hot summer. Wish I had gotten a photo.

As an Uber driver, I bought many car mounts but none of them satisfied me until I got this one. Its magnetic piece is significantly bigger than other mounts and my phone never falls down after I go inside bumps of NYC. The suction piece is strong and stays firm either on dash or window. I am pretty sure it can hold tablets as well. It’s price could be slightly higher than other mounts but it is well deserved. Do not hesitate to buy it.

Great product and exactly what we expected based off the video! It comes with 3 different styles of magnets to suit your phone best but beware…the one issue we had was that our phone case was too thick to securely hold the phone. It’s stuck but as soon as we hit a bump on the road, the phone fell off. We had a Zizo phone case which has two layers of protection. Nothing obviously to do with the product itself but just be aware that if your case is thick…you’ll need to get a new one if you want a secure hold on your phone. The magnets are great quality and do have a 3M tape on back that you can fasten directly to your phone or case. Holder was easy to install, very versatile based on the design of your dash and easy to use. We have a 2002 F-250 and most holders now a days won’t work for our dash. This is perfect!! Money worth spent!

Impressive and perfectly strong magnet with perfect adjustment options. I literally took out of box, placed the thin large metal plate between my phone and case and stuck the suction cup mount to my windshield; it hasn’t moved or shifted and phone stays put (over a week ago now) (it also comes with cleaning wipes and tape to stick smooth suction cup receiver plate to the dash so it doesn’t matter if you have textured dash for suction cup)

Makes life simple, open door place phone on stylish and large surface and get in – no more sitting on the phone or having it slide off the seat. Well worth the money and I’m buying a second one now for the wife’s car. I’d imagine this would be a great mount for Uber drivers.

This magnetic phone car mount is the best one that I have purchase so far. Great quality, super easy to set up and reliable.

I always prefer the magnetic phone holder as it is more convenient to put it on/take it off. I tried a few mounts before, and those are not strong enough to hold my heavy phone, very annoying and unsafe when it drops while you are driving.

This one, however, has a super powerful magnet. I tried to shaking my phone off for a while and surprisingly failed, it holds my phone very sturdy!! Also, I love the adjustable arm, my husband will drive my car occasionally and he can easily adjust it to his preference.

Definitely highly recommend it, have shared it to my 2 friends already.

I had no expectation that this was going to work as well as it did. It holds on to my Samsung Tab S6 in a bouncy 1 ton truck on the textured dash without the adhesive pad (suction cup only).

I was only purchasing this as a temporary universal solution between work trucks, but I am holding onto it for good! It works flawlessly with my big Samsung Tab S6 and my Note 9 and they dont even fall despite the harsh suspension in work trucks after 12+ hour drives. Will be buying more as gifts.

It’s the best phone holder I ever had.

Nice “click” for extending the arm and the angle. Definitely WILL hold in the car. I bought one for my desk at home (which is also remote work). I’ll install the one for the car later. But was impressed with this because its similar to a different manufacturer I used in my car that eventually broke after 5 years.
The flat piece for the magnet does rotate so you can adjust the angle.
The suction cup to the plastic base does not rotate so you need to orient it when you apply it wherever you’re placing it. So I had to remove it from the table top. Definitely do it slowly by pulling the tab and pull slightly up while also pulling the base. There must be a 35lb-50 lb holding power on this. I’m impressed.
I had purchased a case for my iphone that has a built in magnet which made me want something like this. Very nice to just place the phone on this product. I used to use the a stand but the new charging cord head is too long and made me wrestle it into the cradle. This product is SO MUCH nicer.

The package arrived on time and item undamaged. The small size of the box it came in at first surprised me, but after assembly it was as stated. It is fairly an as “1-2-3” type assembly; the instructions were clear enough, also.

If you haven’t used a magnetic-type device as this, please read the instructions/pay attention to where you place the adhesive metal plate. If placed incorrectly, it could interfere with wireless charging.

So far I have had no issues with the suction device; it’s getting hot now in Virginia, so if it holds well in a closed vehicle, I will upgrade that section accordingly.

I do like the extension arm- it places it exactly where I need it; the magnet that holds my S-20+ is not “overly strong”, like some pevious units I’ve had. Thank you for allowing me to review this product.
