BPA is also used in the production of most PVC products – from the looks of it, the storage bag is made of PVC, which is also likely why the product carries the Prop65 Warning (PVC is part of the prop 65 list of naughty materials). You’ll see the same Prop 65 warning on most inflatable water toys, as most are made of PVC, because of it’s flexibility, durability and ability to weld using high-frequency welding machines.
I have a 6 year old with Aspergers and he prefers Mega Bloks for building letters and numbers because of the unique shapes of the bricks. He will build letters and numbers for hours. We have Legos for buildings, cars, and other things.
My set says “MADE IN CANADA” on it.
4 pongs for 4 wheels
I would say yes..they are big enough that you dont have to worry about them being a choking hazzard… my daughter is 2.5 years old and i have seen her chewing on them and i think they will be okay for your teething baby…of course you can never be to cautious
no, Mega Blok minis are compatible with Lego Duplo, Mega Blok Micros are compatible with normal Lego, but these are too big
Yes. I just googled it myself and I found out that they are BPA free.
I don’t see why not!
Yes there is a little body of a car to build on to. Mine was at the very bottom.
There is no recycle code on the blocks, they maybe like legos and a blend of plastics that is not recycleable. I have seen where they’re listed as BPA free, but have not confirmed that with the company itself.

These are fantastic blocks for even the youngest builder. My 6 grandkids range in age from 7 yr to 1 yr. They ALL build with theses!! Sturdy and very colorful. Great for little imaginations.
The packaging indicates that the blocks meet the requirements set forth in ASTM F963 governing safe toy manufacturing regarding BPA, lead, phthalates, etc. Also, the blocks are made in Canada not in China, which is reassuring. I feel confident they are safe or my granddaughter would never touch them.
This comes in a sturdy waterproof plastic bag with zipper cover to close and open the bag.
As far as i know, the bag is BPA free. As for the blocks themselves, i have no idea nor could i find an answer.
There very nice my child likes them he likes building big towers there very good for little hands to pick up

The media could not be loaded. 14 months old, she can’t really build things, yet, but she likes emptying the bag, and picking up pieces, and occasionally she gets some connected. In a couple of months it’ll be a different story, she’s catching on quickly.
Not sure about the people who said they were too small and their infant would swallow them; you can see the size of the single pieces in my daughter’s hands, they’re too big for her to get in her mouth at 14 months and she’s like the 98th percentile for height.
Determined to be the ‘cool’ aunt I’m mostly waiting for the family’s first nephew to grow up enough to buy REALLY cool stuff for. The baby stage has left me nonplussed as far as interesting things, This, was actually a hit. When he’s older he will be getting books and science kits and creation toys out the yinyang but I was determined that I not just get him some colorful thing that makes noise for Christmas. I was thrilled to find blocks that were big enough to a 1year old to be safe with and are really something he can grow along with as these are 1-5. The kit contains enough to make the giraffe that’s on the package (his dad is a big kid and had to find out immediately so dad and grandpa had fun after the nephew passed out asleep. Still Elliott seemed to enjoy these and they held his attention pretty well. He is 13 months and while he isn’t quite able to pull locked bricks apart on his ownh e has grasped putting them together, and I think he and Dad will be building things in no time. We will probably add several bags of blocks to his collection as soon as he knows what hes doing a little better. At the price I see now reason not to get him a giant Rubbermaid tub to fill with them.
My 2 year old son and 1 year old daughter absolutely love these! They spend hours playing with these and as a family me and my husband and the kids build things together. The great things about them is that they are large so they aren’t a choke hazard. My daughter will sometimes try to put these in her mouth so we are happy that we don’t have to worry about that with these jumbo sized blocks. The blocks are colorful and are made of good quality plastic so you don’t have to worry about small pieces or worry about them breaking and being harmful. These are highly recommended and very much worth every penny. Probably the best toy I have bought for my kids in a while.
1. Cleanliness: I inspected each brick individually and they are factory clean by default. Writing this cos some of you have told and experienced some type of mould or dirt on them. Nope. I didn’t see any type of mould or dirt that would make me clean or wash them before I give them to my kid.
2. Brick rigidity or tightness. These bricks are absolutely great. They are simply tight and do not break away when my kid assembles them into numbers or letters etc. They hold up very well. Yes. The individual small bricks, just 3 of them I found a bit loose. That is all. Don’t worry. These are just as good as mega bloks made them before.
3. Variety. They say a picture is a thousand words. Many have said the pieces they got are just all small or all big etc and not a whole lot of variety or combination. Just see my pictures. I don’t think they can put anymore combination of blocks more than this given these are 80 pieces for this particular item.
Conclusion: I will buy them again and again. You have to accept the fact these are plastic bricks and when they are playing out in the sun or in day to day temperatures eventually the blocks will expand, which is where the tightness is lost and they become loose. But this takes in my experience and from when I have bought them almost around 2-3 years.
I babysit two kids some weekends, so I bought this set for the cheap price and so I wouldn’t have to stick the boy in front of the TV while I took care of his baby brother. He really loves these blocks and they are just how I remember as a kid. You cannot go wrong with these. Sturdy, bright, easy to fit together for easy building. I love the zip bag. It makes for an easy cleanup.
Now the baby is over a year old and taking interest in these blocks. I love them, and I can say they don’t hurt as much as Legos do when you step on them. They are big enough for tiny hands and not a choking hazard at all. No sharp edges or cracks. They don’t even bend. It’s like they’re invincible.
What’s not to love?
I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT THIS SOONER!! I play with my granddaughter (just turned age 3) as I watch her almost half of the time each week & she absolutely LOVES this!! I’m thinking about getting her some more of them…maybe a bit more advanced as I picked the product for a younger age as that’s what was recently available to her at the playroom at a very recent timeshare resort stay in Orlando. I knew she has developed an amazing imagination but she took it to new levels using these. Two months before our trip to Orlando I had bought her a Lego Dollhouse (not through Amazon, which is rare for me) but I think it was too restrictive with regard to her optimally utilizing her endless imagination. Also, I would like to note that before she had her first birthday she was always wanting to take things apart to see how they work (she always would try to put it back together too). I’ve never seen a baby/young toddler do this. Her paternal grandfather is not her biological one as her father was adopted, but as he’s a semi-retired civil engineer we’re still hoping that she favors him in her interests (so far so good). Of course, we will always support anything & everything that makes her happy. Almost since birth, she’s just been extra curious about everything (so we’re constantly told so not just our observation) so it will be interesting what she ends up enjoying at she gets older. She’s already struggling a lot with OCD at age 3 (runs severely on both sides of the family as we know her biological one as well) but we can work on that in the most enjoyable way possible playing with the ‘blocks.’ I would suggest this as a toy for any young child where the doctors have expressed much concern over the child’s OCD tendencies. In our case, I can’t wait to get more of the ‘blocks’ for her as this is one of the BEST purchases I’ve made in recent memory!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought these for my son when he turned 1 but he really started using them now that he’s about 2 years and a half. the colors are really bright, the blocks are large and its easy for him to understand and build but I feel like he’s learning and building something new every day!! its one of my favorite things to buy for kids. each one of my siblings (I have 5) including myself have all had a set in our childhood and I would buy one for my daughter too! CREATIVITY IS EVERYTHING!
ill update this review with pictures and maybe a video 🙂
I feel like this is one of those toys that every toddler should have.
I got my son these for his first birthday and for the first month or two he really just enjoyed dumping and cleaning them back up. Then he connected a couple and now by 17 months he LOVES them. He builds towers and is so proud of himself! So I love that it’s helping him develop his skills, but also his confidence as he’s learning.
First it’s fun watching him figure out how to put the pieces together and what not, but it’s also a fun way to go over the colors with him.
So at $15 I feel like the use you get out of These makes it a toddler must have toy.
My husband wanted our granddaughter (18 months old) to have blocks. I know there are some bad reviews for this product but decided to order them anyway because I was unsure that granddaughter would like playing with blocks. Surprisingly I have no issues with these blocks and this is one of her favorite toys. I feel the size is perfect for granddaughter. A common complaint seems to be that the blocks fit loosely together and this is not a issue at all for us because I have to constantly help granddaughter take the blocks apart when she is done playing because she is unable to do this. Luckily for me for when granddaughter is done playing she picks up her blocks and put them in the bag that is provided with the blocks. We have had no issues at all with these blocks!
So I read the reviews and all that and listen when these came in. We bust them open. This was sooooo much fun! Son is 20 months and he at first wanted to throw them but when he saw Dad and I building he wanted to help. So he he added to our towers and it was a perfect afternoon. It kept his attention and was durable for a rough toy kid. I want a set for my parents house, I also love that the bag makes it easy to pack.
