It all depends on the size of your tv and where on the back of your tv the mounting bolts are. A variety of spacers are included, too. That’ll make a difference too.

Means you can not alone screw in to drywall alone or with drywall anchors. Must be installed in to studs or the televison will come off the wall.

The best bet is to buy a wire fishing tape and put a hole in the wall behind your DVR and then one behind the wall mount so you have zero wire showing. I don’t think so. It doesn’t come with anything that will attach to your tv stand.

The TV wall mount fits TV size up to 70 inch and has a maximum VESA pattern 600x400mm, supporting up to 110 lbs. weight and requiring from 16" to 24" wood stud or solid concrete wall. You can put a 75" TV on it, only if the VESA, weight and the studs conditions are met.

The TV sits on the mount and rests on the bracket that mounts to the wall. The TV mount can slide on the bracket slightly, so it could be off-center from the actual mount

The bracket that mounts on the wall sticks out about 1/2". The ones that mount on the TV add about a total of 1". So depending on the TV from 1-2"

Whoever designed this thing has spent more than one day cursing in frustration at the maddening difficulty of installing some supposed “do-it-yourself in 5 minutes” contraption. This mount is made for those of us who aren’t particularly handy: each piece and part is labeled and packaged separately, and the manual’s illustrations make clear reference to each of those parts, showing how they go together and in what order. They also thoughtfully included two most helpful things: a small level (do you know where your level is?) and four little Velcro ties to keep the cords together against the wall instead of hanging down in a jumbled mess. I was able to do the whole job myself in about 30 minutes, and I’m nobody’s idea of a handyman.

Installation was relatively easy. I appreciated that the package included a small level. The mount comes with a lot of extra bits (washers, spacers, various screw lengths) and plenty of mounting points on the bracket – meaning that it can accommodate most situations you might find on the back of your TV and can sit wherever you’d like on an ordinary drywall structure with 16″ separation between studs.

The cords which release the monitor mount from the bracket hung low enough to be visible on my install, and I quickly realized that I needed to tape those up slightly behind the TV so that they could not be seen. This was an extremely minor issue and easily resolved.

The product does not have (and does not advertise) rotation in the horizontal axis, only a slight downward tilt if desired.

Lastly, I strongly recommend that you have (or borrow) a power drill, driver, and stud finder in order to properly attach the bracket to your wall.

Feels solid even with a 65 inch tv

I bought this for my living room TV but the studs are wonky. It’s the shared wall with my neighbors (I live in an apartment). I started the return process kind of irritated because we just got the new TV in the living room and my bf destroyed the TV stand and it’s a chaotic mess, which he’s fine with but I’m having a great deal of anxiety over it. Then I decided “screw it, I’ve got the TV in our bed room! Why not try it?” So, I tried it out on our TCL 49” TV (originally bought for a TCL 65” Alexa capable TV). It took some time but I was able to install the whole thing on my own. ( I’ve moved entire pianos and timpano on my own so I’m strong enough and capable of dealing with the TV alone, don’t do it alone if you aren’t capable). And I am so in love with it. I’ve never had a mounted TV before but I swear that I worked in bed all day the first day it was fully installed 😀 added pic with Teddy the cat for tax 🤣

I usually don’t write reviews on stuff, especially overseas junk. I have to say this was worth every penny and was very easy to install. It came with EVERYTHING (hardware) needed to hang the tv……. I mean bolts, spacers, washers, A LEVEL and a HDMI cord, etc. All you need to supply is a tape measure, drill, drill bit, and a basic ratchet set. Very happy with it and the quick release latches it has. Would buy again!

This is a steal. If you’re thinking about buying a television wall mount, go ahead and buy it. It is a sturdy material and well designed. I felt skeptical at first, but the product proved me wrong.

One caution–the screw that attaches to the mount is really thick. Really thick. Make sure to pre-drill a hole on your wooden beam. Otherwise, you’ll end up with a giant split on your wooden beam.

Great product.

While not super easy to install, it does the job well. I measured and re-measured about 8 times to avoid mistakes. This is a 70” Vizio with the vertical mid-point of the TV 49” from the floor. Unfortunately the studs in my wall weren’t even close to centered where I needed it so I did the best I could and slid the TV approx 9 inches to the left – that flexibility of the mount is fantastic. Overall it doesn’t feel a super solid as I’d hoped (it’s my first, perhaps expectations were too great). BUT I’d think we’d need to have a Cat 4 hurricane to knock it off the wall. (Next up, redoing the access to make those cables go away from view.).

Great TV mount at an awesome price. Very well built and sturdy. Easy to put the pieces together. Using for our new Samsung 70 inch TV that we just purchased. According to TV specs our TV weighs 54 lbs. So it’s way under the weight limit for this mount.

Using on drywall with 16 inch stud separation.

If you’re installing it yourself, I highly recommend a Ratcheting Socket Wrench Set for the big wall plate wood stud screws and a stud finder, this will make your job a heck of a lot easier and safe.

The included level is a great addition to this set.

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this product.

Used on 10 year lod 55 inch plasma.. It’s heavy, bolted to tv easily, numerous options given for bolt choice. I had to screw up 1x boards between 3 metal studs and securing it was easy and solid after I added wood. Wood is better than just metal stud and hitting 3 studs is the best. Easy to hook tv up to rail and remove bottom clips with pull strings.. Good design. It does tilt and I set it to tilt all the way it can which is enough laying in a bed and top of TV is about 7ft 11in.

I bought this mount to install a 55″ flat panel TV right above the mantel. The main viewing angle is from lying on a bed or sitting in a chair/sofa on the other side of the room. With a slight downward tilt, it was perfect. The mount was lowest in price I found on Amazon but the quality is comparable to others that double or triple in price. I was also looking at a another mount specifically designed for mantel with very nice features but I don’t need…and cost more than 10x. Glad I went with this one, serves my need, easy to install and will last for many many years to come.
