No, It’s a outlet extender, just plug into outlet, will use normally.

This outlet extender is everything I need all in one! I love how it also has a usb C port. It’s a great design, the only problem I have is with my main outlet, it’s somehow in reverse, to where the night light is facing upwards. I can’t add the shelf because of this, but it’s not the company’s fault.

Other than purchasing the wrong color (I should have gotten white), this has turned my average two plug kitchen outlet into a versatile charging / power center. May need to buy another for the bathroom !! Very well made and sturdy !!

It is exactly as described. All ports/outlets work fine & it only uses one socket. The other is free to use for something else.

Item arrived as advertised. Probably could have found similar product for less $$ but liked the angled plugs as using for battery rechargers and they provide the extra space needed. All in all would recommend as the work well.

Added this to an outlet & it made a world of a difference. Now I can charge my phone without having to use a plug. I hate those big boxes, they take up so much space.

This wall extender is exactly what I needed. With phones, ipads, headphones, etc that all seem to need to be charged at the same time. I luv the USB charging option. Great purchase!

my desk has so many less cables, and a much sleeker look than those terrible rectangular ones! the charging ports for my phone are amazing!

I found one I finally like. I keep all my electronics in the same place plus a shelf to put my glasses on.
