Facts About NUK Comfy Orthodontic Pacifiers, 0-6 Months, 3 Pack
There is a little hole on each side to attach a clip to.
They are made of silicone and they are BPA free.
These Pacifiers seem to be very good and comfortable for babies. Also their shape make it easy for the babies to put them on by themselves.
Yes! The 6-18m are much bigger! My kid is 6 months and those are still a little to big.
There is a place to hang the Nuk pacifier from a lanyard. The pacifier is hung a small soft plastic semi circle molded into the back of the pacifier. The semicircle is the same soft material as the pacifier and is more comfortable then the hard plastic ring on most pacifiers.
Description by NUK here on Amazon states Medical Grade 100% Silicone
Yes it does
By original if you mean the hard plastic ones. The nipple is the same shape but the flexible silicone makes it comfortable for baby if they sleep on their side because it bends. They are also easier to clean and no more water or mold to get trapped in them. Hope that helps.
I received 2 sets of the 3 pack
Info About NUK Comfy Orthodontic Pacifiers, 0-6 Months, 3 Pack (Reviews From Amazon)
We’ve been using these orthodontic pacifiers with our 2nd baby and she has developed pacifier teeth. She has an over bite and is only 17 months. We will need to start weaning her off as soon as possible, and hope that the issue corrects itself. I am not sure if the issue was these pacifiers or just my kids oral development, but def would not purchase these again if we have another baby.
Nice solid pacifiers with the classic NUK nipple that doesn’t hurt mine when switching from nursing to these (in car/longer naps). Once baby is two months old, I definitely recommend these for a breastfeeding mama who needs a break after a feed, but baby needs more sucking reflex time. Used judiciously and it can really help you and baby bond. Didn’t use pacifiers with my second and it made me regent nursing. These are also better than the soothie Phillips avent for going back and forth between pacifiers and nursing. Used those with my first. Better than the NUK Multi piece plastic as well, safer and don’t press into baby’s chunky cheeks.
Now that we have this type of pacifier, my daughter won’t take anything else. We looked for a pacifier that is one piece because the others have water stuck in the nipple of the pacifier when you clean them. This is really easy to clean and because it is just one piece there is no trapped water after a good scrubbing.
The only downside is that it is hard to find in the middle of the night. We do still have a few of the old pacifiers that glow in the dark so we can easily find and replace a lost pacifier in the middle of the night.
Love these pacifiers!! We received a sample two pack in one of our baby registry gift bags two years ago with our first baby. He never took to any paci but our second baby LOVES this Nuk style paci but since we only had two I ordered these (0-6mo) to have extra. The design has changed slightly in two years but he doesn’t seem to mind, the new design covers less of his upper lip and the nipple has no ridges at all and is slightly bigger (but the old version *could* be a newborn or 0-3 I do not have the packaging and don’t remember.) This paci is also fairly light weight which is helpful for keeping it in their mouth, super easy to clean, attaches to a clip. It’s great!
My one complaint is the photo shows a “sea foam green” and “pale baby blue” – what I received is a dark blue and I guess a mix between green/blue but very clear. I like the one but the dark blue is not my favorite. But its just a color so not a deal breaker but worth mentioning if that is important to some buyers.
The pictures is new on the left in dark blue and old version lime green on the right.
Looooove these! Our baby is 2mo and the other Nuk pacifiers left a red oval around is mouth from it rubbing. These dont leave any marks and it’s the exact same nipple size and shape are the regular hard Nuk pacifiers. The only downside is that they collect fuzzies like no other but they come in the three pack so I just keep rotating them throughout the day which isn’t an issue. He seems much happier.
Good material, good design, affordable, & my baby likes them. These contour around her nose and mouth great and they stay in her mouth with ease. I really like that the back is open where you can stick your finger into the mouthpiece. This makes cleaning easier as I’ll be able to rinse any dish soap bubbles out with ease instead of them getting stuck inside. Also, this is a great design for using with pacifier holders as you can loop them through the back in the center (unlike most others where the loop would end up being between the pacifier and the baby’s face).
My favorite.
My family always used NUK.
I absolutely love the silicone ones. They are more durable overall, and they don’t get the nasty dirt all stuck in the plastic creases.
Sure if you drop them they pick up more dirt than plastic but they are easy to wash.
I fully recommend.
The curve of them so it’s not on their nose when they suck it. I strongly dislike the round ones that touch/push on babies noses cause there is no curve to avoid the nose.
But they are hard to find in stores now a days.
Overall. Highly recommend personally.
I bought these in the past when my girl was about 8 months and man, big mistake. She was teething pretty hard and would put the entire pacifier in her mouth in the attempt to soothe her gums. Huge chocking hazard! So I tossed them and bought Chicco’s one piece silicone pacifiers as they seemed bigger, and they really were. The putting of the pacifier entirely in her mouth stopped but another issue came about – the Chicco was too, too big causing lots of drooling since her bottom lip was stretched far out downward to accommodate the bulb and outer rim. She is now a day shy of becoming a yr old (😭) and she loves these just as much as I do too! They are smaller and lighter compared to the Chicco brand which is what I wanted.
I get that many complain they are lint grabbers, but it IS* silicone so what did you expect? Wash often, that’s all it takes. It beats the traditional pacifiers that catch lint and mold between the silicone bulb and plastic outer rim. I rather constant rinsing of these paci’s over putting who knows what in my daughters mouth.
I like these because they are hygienic/easy to clean. No part can potentially come off, 100% all one piece. Other pacifiers can get buildup on the inside of the nipples. These 100% air dry inside and out. So you don’t have to replace these as often as traditional. My 1 month daughter accepts these over any pacifiers. So I brought more of these and got rid of the traditional one. Only problem is we lose them a lot but that’s has nothing to do with the quality. I personally don’t like the idea off having a string to her clothes to keep her pacifiers on her at all times. Because a string/lanyard is dangerous and can be a choking/strangulation hazard. But the pacifiers do give the option of having a lanyard attached if you’d like. 100% recommended! A+++
Conclusion
In summary, When I first purchased these pacifiers, I thought they would fit my daughter far more than she did. I recognized that the pacifier stayed in place better, and that my daughter was grasping it better. Everyone except me seems to be quite fond of these pacifiers. Now, my daughter is months past her target age, and these pacifiers are not only still in working order, but they still hold her attention. The range of colors is also nice.
