GENUINE: These are genuine cartridges and it’s pretty easy to look up your printer model and find what cartridge it takes. You will also find the number printed on a label on the inside door to the compartment in your printer! If you’re getting the "not genuine" message, it most likely has to do with one of these issues: improper installation/been refilled/you’ve subscribed to Insta Stink at some point.
PRICING: As far as pricing on 62 ink cartridges, I’ve found that buying 2 single ones with normal yield is often (not always) cheaper than buying the extended XL version and according to those reviews, the purported yield is about the same. I usually get anywhere between 100 to 150 pages out of ANY HP ink cartridge and do some refills on the side. It helps to limit what you print – you don’t really need a full color coupon and if you can find a way around it go for it. COLORS: Bright and good, as expected. Would probably be gorgeous if HP made better printers.
TIP TO SAVE INK: Control Panel> View Devices and Printers> Right click on your printer> Click properties> Click on Printer Properties> General tab> Click on Preferences> Under Print Quality change it to Draft. It uses less ink and prints faster. Buy an ink kit on Amazon and learn to do it. It’s not nearly as difficult or as messy as you may imagine. Oh you’ll get a message every time you print that you aren’t using a genuine cartridge or that it’s out of ink but sometimes the message disappears eventually. I’m just used to seeing and dismissing it. And don’t print an "Alignment Page." That’s not needed. You’ll get a message… Dismiss it. Spare your wallet.
I want my printer to produce quality pictures and documents. Why fool with off-brand options? I use HP ink because I know what the outcome will be. My reds are red. My blues are blue. Makes me a happy camper!
I bought the OEM ink because the reviews on the aftermarket ink leed me to think this would be my best bet for my newer printer. I was reading too many bad reviews on the aftermarket with this #62 cartridge that I didn’t want to chance my purchase. H/P cartridges are more expensive but much more reputable.
I have not had any problems with this ink. Works just like I bought it at the store. Very happy and love that it’s delivered the next day with prime!!
Sure, I could go to Walmart or any retail store and buy the generic ink for my printer. It’s adequate and cheaper but I find using the HP ink gives better quality prints from my printer. It’s easy to install and since we don’t print often, it last for a long time.
I like HP.. I think ink cartridges, regardless of where one purchases them, are overpriced. I know ppl who throw printers away bc ink refill is so expensive.
I always purchase HP ink for my printer. I feel it provides the best value and quality for my money. In addition to regular paper printing, I have been printing a lot of pictures lately and I am very happy with the quality of the prints. I’ve tried a few impersonators and between the ones you lose money on because they don’t work or do sloppy jobs, you actually save money with the HP ink.
You can trust the HP ink will works and not fail. Tried other non HP ink cartridge which cause problems from not recognizing it and need to clean the contact points constantly to some that does not give you the promised number of print jobs. I know its more expensive but its reliable.
My printer came from my grandfather and the ink was old and everything I printed was awful. Ordered these cartridges to replace the old ones, it is an HP envy 7645 and they work AMAZING! Ink is pricey but hey you get what you pay for!
They’re a lot of bootleg cartridges out there. My HP printer says these are real and work as they should. Seems like none last as long as they should…….
