Any way it works great but since it’s my first printer I’ve had I decided to check. I copied 30 pages from the books and it was flashing check ink. I did and I shook it and tapped it and put it back in. So far I’ve copied 3 more pages but don’t know how many more it will print. I hope this helps a little. Oh yes They cost about $15. Each

Log back in to your order on Amazon. It will tell you have to return. Not sure if it returnable, good luck..sorry that’s what I would do.
Yes, that is one of the cartridges for that model.
I have a 3632, but the box says it will also work with a deskjet 3630, 3631,3633, 3634 and 3636.
I don’t know I have a envy 4520
Hello. Thanks for your question. The HP OfficeJet 4650 All-in-One Printer is only capable of having 1 black HP 63 or 63XL ink cartridge and 1 tricolor HP 63 or 63XL ink cartridge installed.
Best offer…yes subscribe.
Go to the web site, if you can order from them,
Not at this time
I feel sure you can. I did this in our old HP printer. You can’t align the two cartridges but after that process fails, you just use the black. You can either remove or just leave the color cartridge based on my experience.
ok take a deep breath.. are the ones that u r trying to replace the correct ones HP63s?? if they are the correct ones then u are not putting them into the snap close ink holders. i guess this is the problem, then try different positions with the new cartridges into the cartridge holders,i am certain u will be success… ok take a deep breath.. are the ones that u r trying to replace the correct ones HP63s?? if they are the correct ones then u are not putting them into the snap close ink holders. i guess this is the problem, then try different positions with the new cartridges into the cartridge holders,i am certain u will be successful.. have a blessed day
Doubtful. I couldn’t even get it to work in the hp printer it was made for.
Yes, the HP 63 or 63XL will work with your Envy 7640.
There are several different models that use similar model numbers. If your printer is one of the OfficeJet 5200 printers, this is the correct ink.

I tried the cheaper alternatives and it eventually made my printer quit. So I stay with the original . Never fails.
From 2012 to 2018 I was using a high end office jet 8600 Pro Printer. Ink for that was incredibly expensive. And it required you to have both color and black installed for it to print a page. I started for use generic ink for it. Print quality was a lot worse and it made my printer break.
I got the HP 4650 printer about a year ago. I use only black ink for it. And for what this is it’s not too bad. Especially if you only use your printer occasionally. The print quality seems solid too. It doesn’t come out blurry at all.
Case in point: Sure, you can buy the generic ink. But it will cost you in print quality and potentially your printer. For around $20 I say go with OEM. Is it pricey for what it is? Yes. Worth it to buy genuine over generic? Yes to that too.
It’s just as described. I only order HP ink because I have had bad results with off brand names. I think it’s worth it to use the ink recommended. it doesn’t run out quickly, it doesn’t cause any printer problems and it doesn’t smear. I don’t print much but when I do, I need and want a clear copy. HP ink ensures I receive a good copy.
Love that I can now print. I thought there was something wrong with my new printer. I have only used it a few times and I suspect the ink just dried out that came with the printer.
Way overpriced as far as I am concerned. What a ripoff!
this is an updated review from the Amazon market seller’s replacement cartridges
I originally had ordered the same ink cartridges and found limited life span of each
Print quality was fine as there was no skipping blurring, fading of printed material.
I was disappointed to not have the cartridges last more than 20 printed pages.
Subsequently the market seller responded with an offer to replace the cartridges for FREE
I have received the replacements and inserted one of two .
I trust the ink supply in this remanufactured cartridges will last longer than the original set
I highly recommend the seller who has shown concern about my complaints. She immediately resolved the low rating and resent two brand new HP blk ink cartridges that fit the HP 4650 printer.
I will purchase again and am thankful customer service is excellent bar none. TY
My use is only occasional printing. Ink lasted long (several months) without drying. When it got empty (gray color pages), I refilled it at Costco. It worked just fine. I had kept the ‘set-up’ cartridge for safe disposal as there are numerous places on the internet where they say it is not refillable. But when I asked about it at Costco, the guy there told me that both the set up cartridge and this one were just the same. I took a chance and refilled the set up cartridge too like he advised. He weighed both cartridges after refilling and said the set up cartridge weighed 0.1 gram less than 63 Black. But that one too printed just fine. Much cheaper and environment friendly.
I bought some ink that was less expensive than the one I bought here which is far superior than the other brand I purchased. As a matter of fact, my printer stopped working with the other ink. It was the same number and was said to have been made for my make of printer. I thought my printer went to printer heaven and bought a very inexpensive one to tied me over. I had someone look at my printer and was told it was the cheap ink I had bought. I’ll try to save a couple of bucks when it comes to keeping my printer happy….thus keeping me happy.
We rarely use our printer at home. I really expected it to dry out by now. Pleasantly surprised that it it still printing. More than I have come to expect from other brands we have had. I also appreciate the Linux driver support offered by HP.
I don’t know much about electronics or computers and even less about HP Printers. This is what is required to fit my HP printer. #63. It works well, I don’t print a great deal I suspect that the cartridge may “dry up” long before I actually use it up. It lasts about 5 to 6 Months and the print quality begins to gray or skips areas. I wish it would last longer, maybe there are some hacks to prolonging an ink cartridge. For now the #63 is what I order twice a year.
Again I don’t use my printer very much 25-30 documents at most between changes. RP
