Yes it does fit an HP Envy 5055. If you go to the top of this page you can put in your Manufacturer and Model number and it will tell you if this ink will work. I put in HP Envy 5055 and it said it works with this ink.
I just purchased the HP Envy 5055 and it came with 2 instant ink cartridges that both say "HP Instant Ink Ready 65". One is Tri-Color the other is Black. The box also says HP 65. The HP website says that the HP Envy 5000 series uses HP 65 ink. I conclude that it makes sense that HP Envy 5055 is compatible with this ink.
This is the 65 black cartridge. There isn’t a 65S that is sold.

The Envy 5052 will use HP 65 or 65xl inks.
I have a 2600 all-in-one series and this is what my printer comes with is the 65 for the tri-color and the black and works really well. I am wondering if the 65XL will work as good as the #65! I was told that the 65XL has more ink and will last longer and that is why it has an XL behind the 65! I do not know if this… I have a 2600 all-in-one series and this is what my printer comes with is the 65 for the tri-color and the black and works really well. I bought a new HP printer and subscribed for the so-called ‘Instant Ink Program’. It said that subscribers won’t have to be worried about shortage of ink because the printers are link to a system that monitor the ink stock. Apparently HP has its own standard of ink shortage. So I kept getting new ink even though my ink level is still half. And when I stopped the subscription, I couldn’t use the rest of the inks that HP had send because these inks are crafted only for the Instant Ink Program. So I switched to this regular ink and it makes me spend less.
I had read reviews and was a little confused, as people stated that yes it was ink, but it did not last long. I ordered this and it fit perfectly in my printer and has been working for quite a bit of printing. I do not expect it to print a ton of pages because I did not order the XL ink cartridges, so I think it was a decent price for your money. Less than buying it in a store.
I don’t print a lot of things, but notice if you put a new cartridge and say your print a couple of page s 10-15 maybe within in a month and then you don’t print again for quite some time. When you do print the cartridge seems to be empty even thought you have not reach the ” page count”. Could be the ink dries up.
If you print as little as I do you probably don’t need to have printer, but you loose that convenience of printing from home.
This is the Printer Ink Cartridge that fits my HP Printer, so there is really not much to say about the ink, other than I have tried other inks, (not HP), and was not happy, so although, pricey, I buy name brand. Price is competitive on Amazon, and the shipping fairly quick. I am highly organized and print a fair amount for my small business, and my rule of thumb, is that, I ALWAYS have a back-up cartridge for both Color and Black. And as soon as I need to change the ink, I immediately go on Amazon and place a reorder, so I NEVER have to wait for a delivery.
I order 2 Boxes of these cartridges each had 1 black and 1 color. The first box worked great. But I went to change the cartridges opened the second box
the black and color would not work my printer kept telling me cartridges are in wrong. Looking at the old cartridges and the new cartridges they are different and now I learn amazon return cut off date was January 31,2020 I did not no this. So I just lost $ 30.00 . For not making sure this cartridges fit when you first get them. I do use my printer offen but not as offen as amazon thinks to put a return deadline. So check your cartridges when you get them.
I have decided to use the HP ink only in my HP Envy 5055 Inkjet printer. This ink seems to work better than the less expensive refills you can purchase. I had tried some of the less expensive refills and I had issues with the print heads smearing. Even after cleaning the print heads the smearing reoccurred. I have not had the smearing issue with the HP ink cartridges. I would recommend the XL cartridges, the standard cartridges run out of ink very quickly.
In a strange turn of events, the OEM toner from HP was actually priced cheaper all of the knock off brands going five pages deep. So I think we’re at the point where the snake is eating its tail, and I’m here for it.
I’m a big fan of HP and their printers, but was slightly annoyed at the “low cost printer high cost for toner sales tactic that rules the day for toner sales”.
OEM toner is the best and gives you the best printouts and the best printer toner interface. It works great and if they keep it cheap, I’m here for it!
I recently bought the new 8 lb wireless HP 3700 Deskjet
Series and it is wonderful! Fast and Light! This is the ink
Used for these new printers and it is a great price compared to the other models and brands of printers. I found that if you need more than 2 cartridges, then you have wasted money because good print quality does not lie! Kmorris1-Tx
Its good quality ink, it can print some pages but it wont last long. I ran out of ink pretty fast; for the price it is good but I recommend buying the 65 XL as it will last much longer and print more pages. Overall it still good print ink to buy for its price.
When my printer was getting low on toner, I was not able to locate refills at retailers nearby, so ordered these – they are comparable in quality to what I had previously purchased locally. What was remarkable was how quickly the order arrived. Originally to be delivered 9/23-28, it arrived yesterday, almost a full week early and literally only TWO DAYS since I placed the order on the 15th. Kudos to this company, will definitely reorder from them when the time comes.
