The usage life will depend on what you’re printing and how much. The warranty expiration on the cartridges is two years after they were manufactured, and the date is listed on the box.
No. HP OfficeJet Pro 6968 can only use HP 902, 902XL and 906XL black.
I wouldn’t recommend any refill cartridges unless it is your older, back up printer. When they leak, they will goo up your printer and warranty won’t help you for that.
Yes, you can use this ink with your printer.
The ink capacity is not listed in ounces, but by ml. The 910 standard black has a volume of 8.29 ml and will print about 300 pages. The XL has 10.4 ml and has a capacity of 825 pages.
Hello. Thanks for your question. This is just an HP ink cartridge. Not a printer.
I do not recognize what the 9 digit # is referring to. However the #910 label without the letters XL, comes as a packet containing Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow cartridges – 4 cartridges total. These 4 cartridges prints a specified regular amount of pages. The cartridge that is labelled as BLACK 910XL, refers to a larger cartridge that can print 2.5 times more , and is more economical. I am not sure if the Magenta, Cyan, and Yellow come as XL cartridges..
Don’t buy ANY ink from Amazon, especially the HP 910. They are all defective and will ruin your computer printer. My new HP printer is ruined because of the corrupt faulty HP 910 ink.
910XL. You can get the pack with three colors and a black one, or buy them individually. You always need black for anything to print. If you don’t want to use color, make sure to change your settings to print black and white only as your default.

Yes
There really isn’t a difference. It’s the same cartridge, just with two different internal part numbers.
I’m can’t seem to find the tri-color pack for hp 910, I only see the cartridge for magenta. Is the tri color available and where?
As long as the cartridges are just low on ink, yes it should print just fine. If one of the cartridges is empty it won’t because the printer uses a tiny amount of ink to keep the printheads lubricated as they move across the paper. I noticed that there were reviews where it said the ink cartridge didn’t work. From my experience with this HP ink cartridge, if you pull off too much of the white and orange tab…I got an error that the printer wasn’t able to recognize the ink cartridge. I am guessing there is some kind of sensor on the cartridge (I am not a tech person 😂). If you have too much of the sensor exposed, you get an error. I pulled off too much of the white and orange tab. I provided some photos so you can see what I am referring to 😂 Luckily I still had part of the sticker left. I didn’t throw it out yet so I just cut off the white part from the part that I pulled off too much from and stuck it back onto the cartridge. I put the ink cartridge back into the printer and then it finally recognized it. If you are having trouble tearing off the white and orange tab, you can always use scissors to snip it off. Just make sure you snip off the orange part like in my photo.
These ink cartridges work fabulously well. The results are excellent quality documents and photos. My only complaint is just how spendy they are. An XL version of the four required printer ink cartridges cost as much as my printer did. OUCH!
I purchased theHP 910XL | Ink Cartridge | Black | 3YL65AN because my black ink cartridge ran out of ink on my HPOffice Jet Pro 8028 in the middle of preparing my loan documents. The cartridge was at my door step the next day. I could have purchased the cartridge at Costco the next day for a lot less, but if I took into consideration the gas and my time I guess the price I paid was ok.
Here’s my story. Very happy to find this item online because there was a time when I could not find this size ink cartridge anywhere online or in stores for a long time. So, I had no choice but to sign up for “instaink” with HP. That was big mistake!! I ran out of ink and there is nobody to talk to to get more ink from instaink. This was so very frustrating and so I don’t recommend using the instaink. This is quality ink and works great!
No problem with the cartridge, but let me go on a rant.
My Epson finally stopped working after 12 years. Trying to find a printer in 2020 is impossible, but found an HP at Costco. I did not want the combo cartridge model and the one I got were single cartridges. I also did not want HP Instant Ink, as it did not make sense for me. But my biggest complaint is the exorbitant costs of black ink (what you use the most). All vendors do the same, try to get you into a subscription based ink and then gouge you if you buy single, especially black. Anyway, rant is over, but the cartridge works fine in my printer.
I appreciate how quickly my ink order was processed and delivered. This is HP Ink -I do not use other so-called compatible inks in my HP printer. Beware of sellers who use photos of HP ink but sell their generic version. I’m happy with the quality of the print, and the number of copies. My reviews are my own, and I will disclose if I’ve received a free product or gift (I have not).
I like everything about the HP ink products. I worked in an office where quality of output was important to backing the quality of the work output. When we tried cheaper products the cartridge might not last as long nor give same even print bed over a long paper or grant application. From one HP cartridge to another print quality does not change nor smear when collating pages by hand. The cartridge system makes it impossible to get ink on paper or hands when changing properly. Nor is there any waste of ink from leakage by cartridges. Quality from start to finish at work and in my own home system! Orah May Mockbee
The cartridge is fine. If I had know that the new printer used a different series of cartridges that my broken HP I would have bought a different model. I used re-man or compatible cartridges (OSIR) in the old printer almost exclusively without a SINGLE problem and for 1/4 the best price of HP’s.
Typical HP cartridge. Works well, next time I’ll gamble and buy a knock of brand. Those have always work well for me in the past, and they are about 1/4 of the price of the name brand from the printer manufacturer.
Works, though not for as long as I expected for the XL. Good product, overpriced with no option to use another brand with this printer. If you are stuck with the HP ONLY option on your printer, the price on Amazon is OK.
