Product Description
When a baby cries, it’s hard not to want to comfort them. But babies also have their own ways of calming themselves down, and that includes sucking on their fingers, a pacifier, or a favorite toy. Unfortunately, not all babies like sucking on a pacifier, or needing a pacifier at all. To help babies who are fussy or upset, Philips offers a variety of solutions, including the Soothie pacifier. The Soothie is an attachment that can be shaped into a pacifier, allowing a baby to self-soothe without relying on a pacifier. The Soothie is gentle on the gums, and is made of silicone, which helps prevent teeth misalignment. The Soothie comes in a range of sizes, from newborn to 4 years old.
Facts About Philips AVENT Soothie Pacifier, Blue, 0-3 Months, 4 Pack, SCF190/43
Who knows where they’re made or what they’re being made of, these are counterfeit. I spoke to Philips directly and they verified they are not geniune. Amazon is also removing the reviews about them being fake knock offs. If they don’t have the Philips Avent logo and instead have a website printed on them, they’re FAKE!
The 3-18 months pacifiers are Definitely harder than the 0-3 months. I am squeezing both. And my baby doesn’t like the hardness and can tell immediately (even in a dark room where she can’t distinguish the color).

Hello! The only difference between the two Soothie pacifiers is the age at which they are recommended. The 0-3 months pacifier is more suitable for babies that are these months old, while the 3+ months pacifier is more recommended for three months and up or older babies.
My son is 1 and he chews right through there had to look at stronger options. But if the child doesn’t bite them I don’t see them having an issues using them
yes its for a baby.

Info About Philips AVENT Soothie Pacifier, Blue, 0-3 Months, 4 Pack, SCF190/43 (Reviews From Amazon)
These are the only pacifers my son will use. Problem is he hides them around the house like a squirrel burying nuts. So we need like 20 of them with the hopes we can find one. Not the products fault and I would highly recommend them to any parent.
My child was born at 29 weeks and 4 days. At about 31 weeks my preemie was sucking on this pacifier like she has been doing so all of her precious life. I was surprised to how well she took to this particular brand and size (0-3 M) while in NICU and knew I had to purchase a couple for when I get home. When my baby gets fussy during diaper changes I simply give her the pacifier to suck on and she soothes immediately. I also use it to help her fall asleep. I have also read that giving your baby a pacifier while falling asleep can help reduce SIDS. This pacifier is not small to get sucked in and lodge in your child’s throat. It’s really the right size for a preemie and babies up to 3 months. It’s also easy to clean as there is no place for grime to get stuck. You can simply use a small, narrow bottle brush to clean the nipple if needed. I sanitize using a feature on my bottle warmer but you can also sanitize in a sanitizing bag ( I sometimes use Medela) or just hot water.
It’s worth the purchase.
So I had held out on these until necessary. I bought the Nuk orthodontic pacis first because my older kids (12 and 13) had used them when they were babies. I’d seen these pacifiers everywhere but I thought it was all just hype and all pacifiers are the same, right? Well… I was wrong. My one month old really fought the nuk pacifiers and they just weren’t … well, pacifying him. I gave in and bought these a few days ago, and honestly, it’s like night and day. He took to it immediately and it’s doing it’s job of calming him when things get a little rough. So it’s not all hype and I’d recommend them. I also wanted to say I did get the actual brand, not some knockoff. So they must have corrected that issue.
I was a bit hesitant to purchade the 3+ month ones because of all the reviews about children hating them but I did anyways. Wouldn’t you know it, my kid LOVES them more than the 0-3 month! Yes, they are thicker but that’s what makes them such great assets for teething babies. They really are durable, super easy to clean, and perfect for an avid curious biter looking for something to nom on. All in all fantastic product. My only thing is i wish they had more available colors besides the standard blue, green, pink, and purple. But that’s me being picky.
I like that these are a little thicker than the newborn ones. I bought these for my 2 year old who is having a hard time giving up his nook. They hold up well and not easily punctured with teeth. My puppy has even gotten them a few times and didn’t put any holes in them.
These pacifiers are a life saver. My little one is almost 3 months and she’s starting to teeth. Her other newborn pacifiers have gone threw the ringer so I was glad whenever I purchased these and realized they’re the exact same size and shape as her other pacifiers, just thicker and firmer. Pretty awesome! And also, if you throw these in the freezer after washing, it helps with the gum irritation and offers an extra layer of comfort! Will definitely be purchasing more.
I love this brand so much. My baby loves this brand of pacifier, too.
These pacifiers are so easy to clean which is a must for something going into a baby mouth. We are constantly washing pacifiers in our house because they end upon the ground a lot.
Surprisingly, our little one can grasp and hold them even without a ‘knob’ like you see on a lot of pacifiers. With these thicker 3 month pacifiers, she likes to grab them, shove them to the side of her mouth, and gnaw on them with her gums.
We do use pacifier clips, but be aware that they have to be attached through the little holes in the pacifier. You will need to find a clip that fits. It isn’t hard, but just be thinking of that when searching.
These ones are definitely thicker than the ones for 0+months, which is good for older babies, my daughter likes to chew through them so these take longer for her to get through but she always does! They are very easy to clean! Although they are harder as replacements for the wubanubbs but worth the effort. My daughter prefers these over any other pacifier!
Best one for my daughter. I legit spent over $75 trying to find a bink my daughter would take. My other two weren’t picky, but she is! She’s exclusively breastfed and since COVID keeps us home, she’s not used to a bottle even. I bought the two pack for $3 or something and she loved it! Purchased more after that. And btw yes, this is the genuine article.. some on here claim it’s not.
We love these pacifiers in our house. Our little one sucks on them, gums them for teething, and just plays with them. I was initially worried that she would have trouble handling them because they don’t have a knob or loop handle like many other brands, but she has no trouble with these at all. I will be using the same brand for baby number 2.

In conclusion, Philips AVENT Soothie Pacifiers are the best on the market. Any parent that knows family planning knows that Philips AVENT Soothie Pacifiers are the smart choice. Philips AVENT Soothie Pacifiers uses unique technology for soothing babies, like sound therapy, vibrations and massage.
