I have a Samsung 55 inch smart tv and this remote worked right out of the package. I called Philips and spoke to them at length about this feature but there is none unfortunately. Other than that, this remote fits the bill very well. It also integrates with my Vizio sound bar nicely for good measure.

Yes, we codes available for TV/DVD combo units. To make sure the brand of your device is compatible please visit byjasco.com/urccodes to see our code list. In some cases you may need to program the TV and DVD functions on separate buttons however this is not always the case with combo devices.

The remote itself does not have a sleep timer. If your device has a sleep timer function you may be able to access it via the devices main menu however that depends on the device itself, not the remote.
