These are white on the top and the normal silver on the recording side.
I am not sure what you mean by Holographic, but it is definitely not the blue one. It is more about silver/greenish.
I have purchased tens of thousands of CDRs and labels over the past few years, for my business (recording/producing workshops at conventions), and have always used peel-off stick-on labels on regular CDRs just like this one. I have purchased this particular item ONLY ONE TIME a few months ago (about a thousand of them) to produce some CDs for a presenter to sell. These were THE VERY WORST ONES I have ever purchased…I had a ONE IN FIVE FAILURE RATE in my duplicators. I purchased them as they were the cheapest on Amazon…I will NEVER do it again. You would be way better off buying Verbatim or any other brand than these…all of them (except ones with a white print-on surface) will handle a stick-on label.
This is the only blank media I’ll ever use! Perfect for both data & music storage. Buy with confidence as the quality is outstanding; no skips.

As of I am writing this review the item has preformed great. I have not had any trouble with the burning or even the playback with the item. All is coming in very good sound and the disc are in excellent condition in arrival. I am very please with this item and will keep track if any thing has change.
I’ve only used about 10 of these so far but they’ve been flawless when used. Would easily buy again.
These are excellent for making cd’s for our church services. This is the 2nd time we have purchased and the price beats anywhere around!
