If your ATT Modem box is connected to the internet then it should work. If it has several ports then try a different one. I used this cord to do that with my computer in the basement so its direct connected now. Good Luck!

At this point not sure of product. Sometimes shows not charging. Re-attaching solves the problem. The original charging cable shows charging all the time? This applies to the pencil and tablet. Do like the dual charging feature.
